Thank you, useful to see how it comes apart. I’ve just bought one that has 2 battery cassettes, so I think I will convert it to a 4s lithium with a BMS. I put a 6S lithium and BMS in the 1AH battery case for my PRC-320. Cheers Nick G0OQK.

Grad if it helped. Are You using LiFePo4? Thanks for feedback about PRC-320. Let me (and viewers) know how it went on PRC-350.

Sadly I never hear about it. For emergencies there is 1Ah version with hand crank dynamo so it might be good alternative - not what You are looking for but it will be always ready to use.

That's deeply depend of usage how much TX or RX.
      Manual state that on:
      TX it take : 820mA at 15V
      RX - 180mA at 15V
You can calculate rough estimate from that that on RX by using 2000mAh eneloops it should give about 10 hours of receive.
Please do not "quote" me on that because i took that data from manual (not mine measurements) but i'm pretty sure that run-time would be longer when radio is squelched.
For me that mod was great because i'm not using this radio, it's presented on my shelf (but in case i need it, i could put eneloops and have fully working radio) for real use i would recommend get 4 cell li-po package and stuff it inside box.
