The sad thing is that Mariah's has so many miscarriages and performed a day later for fundraisers she was committed to. Also she almost died giving birth in her 40s which caused a huge amount of trauma for her body to recover and people make fun of her for all the issues she's tried to overcome. Mariah is one of the kindest people who is only portrayed as rude because people don't get the humour she's playing to mock people who did her wrong, like her ex husband who owned half the entertainment industry. I've seen Ellen do worse of things btw. But all things come into the light.

The best example of her being really annoying and mean is her interview with Bts. She literally didnt know their names and she asked them very uncomfortable questions like "Have yall dated any of your army?" the members were so visibly uncomfortable in that show. And then dont even get me started with the interviews she had with Taylor Swift . Like asking her questions about her dating life knowing how she was feeling and then laughing .She is just a very irritating and mean person and honestly I am so so happy she is getting exposed.

Ellen needs to learn about her guests cultures and who they are before inviting them. It's just rude to push things on other people. Satirical humor is literally the formula for jokes that every comedian and tv show host and ever social media trends/memes use it because everyone knows of that person, thing , or instance and can relate to it so it makes it relative to the audience. thats why people like talk shows because it's the hosts take on events and situations with a humorous twist of their own. like thats why memes are popular because they dig at other peoples expense like long standing jokes about Leo and not winning an Oscar or the Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon "feud" are popular because they are hot seat jokes made at someone else's expense in return for a laugh.

I remember her interview with BTS. She didn’t even know any of their names and made them introduce themselves, not only that, she was so nonchalant about the whole interview like it bored her. Even her mics weren’t properly checked cause the was a fault in RM’s mic and she honestly just didn’t give a shit about it, considering that talk show hosts are supposed to know about a little about their guests before they come on stage.

Hell, I don't know *anyone* who can fold a map like that first try. We have new technology for a reason, so then we don't have to spend 30 minutes trying to use a rotary phone or folding a map.

I feel like most women know that there’s a “safe zone” with pregnancy and that it’s best not to tell everyone on earth until you’re out of those critical weeks (mostly because your own loss is already heartbreaking, having everyone knowing and sending their condolences can often make it worse). If a celebrity isn’t “showing” and isn’t confirming or denying, it’s very likely they don’t want to announce it because they’re in those critical weeks 🙄🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ Mariah was clearly not showing yet, and it was gross of Ellen to manipulate her like that just for her shitty tv show. A friend of mine only told me and her husband about her pregnancy and she was devastated when she lost the baby early on. I can’t imagine the entire world knowing, AND Mariah has bipolar too. I went to the Ellen show as part of the audience and it’s super awkward when it goes to comercial she walks off stage then would come back and start dancing. The audience has to be super excited and fake laugh to have a little camera time. They pick the audience members who they want to ask questions too two hours before the show. When I went the lopez family got a huge bucket of money and she interviewed them for like 2 minutes then went to comercial and didn’t even acknowledge them they were sent backstage and the next person to interview would get ready to come out

Ayesha Moiz years ago Mariah was pregnant but was hiding it at the time. Ellen suspected it and was trying to pressure her to drink alcohol so she could prove if she was/wasn’t pregnant. She pressured her so much on the show Mariah confessed to being pregnant. After weeks later Mariah had a miscarriage :( but she could’ve kept it private if Ellen didn’t try and expose her !

I never met her, but when she's on her show, she seems so fake and disingenuous. She will try her best to make a joke at her guest expense. I always wondered why I felt that way. I just couldn't put up with it and stopped watching. Explains so much now. I usually have a good intuition on people. Never second guess yourself.
Even back in the 90's,I could tell she's a really dark person,her eyes always gives me chills,and it wasn't because of the color. Her expression says she's smiling for the money,but the second you're alone with her,she will put you through hell while laughing. But she's just SO GOOD at faking it,and people are too easy to believe,that's how she got richer and richer. Sure she finally got exposed,but she can survive the rest of her life with the 400 million dollars. The lesson of this is really for the audience:expose these people as soon as possible,so no more people will suffer from them.

I went to a taping of the show a few years ago. She was extremely rude to her staff and only put on a smile for the camera. It completely changed my view of her.
I went to a taping of her show like 2 years ago and experienced the same thing, being there was boring and everything just felt so forced and she kept complaining to her staff.. she really is something else
I've never been a part of the Ellen Show, however, I went to the taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live and he was so sweet, engaged with the audience. I think one woman was on a wheelchair and he was absolutely the sweetest person ever, had a chat with her before they've started taping and such.

It’s surprising that she doesn’t even say hi to the guests before or after the show. Even Jerry Springer came to the makeup area to say hi to my family before filming. (This was before his show became staged fights and ridiculous behavior.) He was incredibly nice and shook all of hands, even mine, and I was just 9 at the time.

just like oprah they aren't gifts they are "prizes" and the recipient has to pay taxes and fees. Many "contestants" on her show had to reject the "gifts" because of that. Also when you sign the paperwork to be on the show you are a "contestant" and not a guest. Contestants have less legal rights and have to agree to waive rights to sue if something goes wrong like being injured on set or any property damage/theft happens they can't be held liable for anything. Guests do have rights to pursue legal action if they get injured on set or have someone steal thier stuff. Ellen makes everyone be "contestants" with no legal rights,
