I’m sorry but they set North up. A majority of the Kardashians moan and complain about how they were never able to experience childhood as a normal kid and yet, here they are, again, with their own children. It’s embarrassing and as a parent, you’ve gotta let your kids experience failure to grow. And by failure I MEAN something like not making it into the school play. But because her parents set her up, instead of her failing an audition in her million-dollar private school she’s instead being exposed to millions of people hating every facet of her performance. Live. In front of dozens of OTHER celebrities….
All of this!!! Compare this to blue ivy working hard to be in Beyoncé’s tour and constantly improving at every show. If Kim had north in singing lessons and acting etc then play but it’s not even like they tried to set her up for success

not only disrespectful as hellll to the cast, who works their asses off for this. but to the audience. broadway tickets are not cheap, people dress up to go and save for months to get good seats. can you imagine putting in a lot of effort to enjoy the show, only for it to get crashed by kim k and her team. it's just so disgusting and narcissistic.

I don't understand the Kardashian Jenner thing, I never have. Why are they famous? None of them seem particularly talented at anything, I know which one Kim is but out of the other siblings I don't know which one's which I don't understand why people watch or have any interest in them at all. None of this is North's fault but watching that clip made me cringe, imagine what the audience who paid to watch this live was thinking.
They need to not have auditions if some celebrity is going to buy their way in.

It's about who's talented and who's right for the role(s), whether they come from a wealthy family or not. In this case, the role wasn't deserved. But, just because someone happens to be wealthy doesn't mean that they don't be involved in things--as long as they're eligible for the part and are there as a result of their talent, not being bought-in by their parents.

It honestly feels like they set the poor kid up for failure with the lion king show. The costume was so off theme, I’ve heard it was her father’s doing, and the fact she looked uncomfortable in the clips I’ve seen.

North was so unprepared, didn’t practice, cast members were directing North where she was supposed to be. The Kardashians have been irrelevant in months to years. And they USED North to keep them relevant. How sad 😔 for this kid.

The problem for me is how oblivious Kim and Kanye are to consequences. Kids are MEAN, and at the end of the day, North is gonna get torn apart on social media and at school because this was an official show that she wasn't prepared for. I actually feel sorry for her.

My biggest issue is that Kim and/or Kanye PAID for North to be at this event, an event that have tickets sold up to THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND NOT LET HER REHEARSE. North sounded fine if it was a talent show for elementary school, it's not that bad. But for a PAID event?! NO she should've been at rehearsals the week before the event. I'm mad that they paid to set their child up for FAILURE AND THEY KNOW IT.

People PAID for a professional performance. Hard earned money. She isn’t theatre trained, you can tell by her way she just even walked on the stage- she wasn’t stage walking, she was walking like she would on the street. Which makes for zero stage presence. People pay to see professionals and I’d be pissed if I paid and saw that.
I saw a reel on Instagram of a mum who was talking about her daughter who auditioned for the role of young Simba (she's been on Broadway a couple of times, really talented, etc.) and she went through 5 rounds of callbacks or something. When they were at the final 3, this mum was sitting in the audition room with her daughter and another parent with their daughter when she heard that someone has been pulling strings to get their child in the musical. When the last kid walked in with their parent, she saw it was Kim K and North W.
It's just infuriating and heartbreaking for these kids who put blood, sweat and tears into their craft/career, just to have someone (Kim K, I'm not blaming North for anything) who has connections, money and status to not only pull strings and bypass the whole process, but also has no training AND chooses not to wear a costume that would have been provided :(

I'll bet that Kanye and Kim heard North singing along to the Lion King at home and thought, "Wow, she could sing that on Broadway". Then they hyped her up and made some calls and bam, we have a child jumping around on a professional stage in a fuzzy jammie set, just like she would in her living room. The problem isn't just nepotism, but this family's inability to accept their mediocrity. Not to say there isn't the potential for greatness, but it needs refining, like any skill.

Kim is STILL competing with Beyonce. Blue is going to be voicing Nala in the next live movie. Blue went on a world tour last Summer and killed it. Kim wanted North's name attached to something big. She pounced on the opportunity to do so when she learned about the new Lion King movie. Didn't matter nor did she care that her daughter is not a singer or dancer.
Kim's need to be relevant came at the cost of her child's innocence this go-around; she set North up to get ridiculed and bullied. In her quest to best Beyonce, Kim didn't think about the repercussions to her daughter. Watch: when the movie drops, people are going to compare this performance to Blue Ivy's.

Why does North's costume look like someone ran into the fabric store and grabbed a bolt of yellow faux fur and some fringe and ran it up on the Singer overnight? The other actors are wearing beautiful hand painted costumes that actually look like the animals they're portraying. And North is up on stage looking like it's Halloween night (no disrespect to the child, North, as I'm sure she had nothing to do with the costume she wore).

The production company knew what it was doing when only putting North and Jennifer's names on the tickets if you had purchased them. That way they avoid any pre-show backlash and recasting. They already knew in advance! One lady that attended the concert and posted several videos of that night, clarified that North's name was on the advertising posters and even on the theater sign.

Saw some people trying to compare this to Blue in the Renaissance tour. Not even close! Beyonce had Blue rehearse like everyone else. Kim basically just made a call & couldn’t even be bothered to invest in developing North’s abilities before the show. And used it as a branding opportunity on top! This was also scummy bc getting North the spot meant taking the opportunity away from kids who worked hard & were very talented who could’ve done well in the role. The audacity is at an all time high.

They should fuel her passion through her school. Make sure she’s in drama classes, put her into acting classes, singing classes, dance classes. So when she gets older hopefully she’s able to use her actual honed skills to get into things like broadway shows. I’m sure that people wouldn’t mind it too terribly when shes older if she has the skill to carry that type of performance and excel regardless of her name.

@@TeaSpillLong story short they came to a 3day trip in Budapest on our government money while people dont have jobs in here our helthcare system is really bad and people in other citys are starving. The promoted the fancy life in Budapest(usually just called Europe or europeans or another country) and people here started the blockout infulencers aswell. Did you guys see the video on TT saying that there actually was kids that went throughout the whole audition and at the very last audition it was a couple of kids and they said Kim walked in and pretty much “stole” the role. I believe it was one of the moms but I’m unsure. Also it’s videos on TT showing other kids auditions (could just be videos on the internet though) so idk if that article is accurate. Maybe trying to save face?
As someone who loves musical theater, it makes me so sad that this happened. I feel terrible for North having to be pushed to the forefront of so much hate and I feel bad for the kids who were ready for the role to be denied because of the kardashian influence. Rich people will do anything to keep their names being out there and spoken about, it’s unfortunate it’s being pushed on to their kids now
