Not saying that's what everyone did to Gabbie, how many people do you think just randomly heard about her poem and already disliked Gabbie? Most people usually wouldn't waste their time on something like that, I wouldn't doubt that some people did though. There is also being too harsh with criticism, as that can take a mental toll on someone as well, even if the critique means well.

It’s ignorant comments like hers that perpetuate the misconception that OCD is just “I organize my closet so I must have OCD” so people don’t take it seriously when someone is suffering with it, when in actuality OCD is a debilitating category of mental disorders and behaviors that legitimately ruins lives.

Some of my day to day with OCD:
-Repeatedly check the news every two minutes
-go up and down bunkbed multiple times (and I have EDS so knees dislocate)
-go to the toilet repeatedly
-constant coughs/throat clearing
-saying the same sentences repeatedly
-door touching repeatedly
-no odd numbers
-going up and down stairs multiple times
-checking plugs
-saying inappropriate things
-hard eye blinking
OCD is not just about cleaning. It's obsessive behaviours that you cannot control. There's a voice in your head telling you that you HAVE to do this or something bad will happen. It's miserable.
Is it kind of like how when i eat i have to eat things in pairs or how i do everything and i mean everything in colour order and cant do odd numbers

The worst thing about Gabbie Hanna's poetry is that there's literally no way to express how bad it is without her whining about how she's being bullied. She's basically saying that criticism and bullying are one and the same and that's wrong on so many levels. Sure, there's haters that attack her just for the sake of attacking, but that doesn't mean that every person that doesn't like this sad excuse of poetry is a bully who lacks judgement.
She did make a video saying that her poetry has an audience but that if you don’t like it then you aren’t the audience. Which I agree too but for so many people to criticize it and for her to just not acknowledge it means she can’t take criticism. Especially when it comes to a book or a movie you need to accept that not everyone is going to like your style of writing or filming.

Gabbie misses “the old UA-cam” and what she means by that is where youtubers would overly hype up anything another youtuber does without being truthful. the “old UA-cam” is where most youtubers were too afraid to express valid criticism cuz they might’ve been worried that it might’ve just been coming off as being “a hater”. Gabbie just can’t take criticism period. she misses where people would blindly hype things up just for the sake of it. the “new UA-cam” is where people will present valid criticism no matter how much people may put youtubers on a pedestal- she needs to get over herself and realize she’s in the public eye and not everything she does equals to her being in the right. if you’re gonna come out with a project that’s beyond UA-cam, do it right and not for some lame money grab like that poetry book that she literally claimed was rushed.

I don't think it's about a human being allowed access to basic needs. I think it was more about the fact that someone is being treated differently because the benefits from that person isn't expected to be much. Kind of the same concept of, only treating someone a particular way because they have money vs. mistreating another just because they are not as rich. It is kind of like you invite a bunch of people over to your place and tell the one you don't think is that important as the others to go use the same toilet on the street that's open for the public. Only your richest friends who give you expensive things can use the bathroom in your house. However, the one friend who can't afford to give you Prada isn't allowed the same access. You give the rich friends steak and lobster, but give the poorer friend a ham and cheese sandwich. Yes the ham and cheese sandwich is still food that a hungry teenager would gladly eat, but it is the intention that a line is created between who is important and who is not solely based on what can be gained from them.

I have OCD, it's in no way cleanliness to an extreme. Some people do obsessively clean as their OCD. It's however EXTREMELY RARE and it has to be obsessive extreme cleaning. My OCD causes my to repeat words, I tap certain specific patterns of I mess it up it causes me real distress. I work hard to break these patterns because they interfere with my life. OCD is disruptive or destructive.
When we went to a taping of Ellen, we had vip tix. They made me hold my pee for 3hrs. I asked if I could go to the restroom between show taping and I was told to “hold it”

Gabbie is such a child. Just because her rushed poetry book that she herself admitted was rushed received a lot of criticism does not mean creators no longer support other creators projects. They quite literally support each other all the time!! Also, to cry and be so upset over receiving criticism for her work which again, she herself admitted was rushed and not her best work makes no sense. You know that you didn’t work as hard as you could have and it wasn’t your best and you’re upset people don’t like it?? He treats her like someone he needs to babysit and steps in to handle ALL her mistakes instead of making her handle it instead since it's her fuck up. I get managers 'manage' things but what Jordan has to do goes way beyond that. And even when he does get angry and call her out, he ends up laughing it off later as far as I can tell.

I think Nikkie's situation was blown way out of proportion.. how do we know there just weren't any other bathrooms available on Ellen's set which is why nikkie couldn't have her own? She doesn't ever mention bringing it up to someone which may have cleared up the reason. Not to mention, it's literally just a shitter lol like really girl I promise you won't die from using a public bathroom. And "I expected confetti cannons but got an angry intern", did it ever occur to you that some people have bad days, and other things going on in their life that could affect their mood at work? Entitled much. I think she was just being way too dramatic and making assumptions about things rather than discussing her issues with the staff directly.

I believe it’s “is” because the subject of the sentence is family which is singular. Please lmk if I’m wrong though, anyone! Nonetheless, that poem is crap lol
There is multiple words like that (team, group, band, family, government etc). It is singular but it means several people. I believe it is called a "collective noun". So both ways are correct depending on the meaning. If you can substitute with "it" and it sounds fine then use "is" if you can substitute with "they" then it should be "are". For example, my family are coming to stay with us. It doesn't make sense to say "it is coming...". Sometimes both ways make sense and you can use either.
@@MoonstoneAna I vaguely remember I was taught that in using collective nouns, if the next nouns to link it to is plural, then use "are", like how in the poem the word "family" was followed by the word "relatives".
And taking your advise that if it can be substitute with the pronoun "it", the verb "is" will be used. So if I substitute the word: "It is relatives", won't it be wrong? 😅 Compared to substituting with "they" : "They are relatives."

Most hosts treat all guests with respect, they’ll greet them before the show ensure there’s treats in their vanity room and that they have a great space to get ready in. This is whether or not they’re famous. Kelly Clarkson has implemented this.

Ok, my two cents. From what I see most of the the beauty community fans (especially some of the ones commenting below) have to be the most toxic people ever. First, we take Nikkie's complaints and automatically crucify Ellen as being rude, a boomer, disgusting, etc. Hopefully my comment gives you a perspective on how to judge accordingly before you pick a side. Beforehand, we don't know if the Jonas themselves or all the celebrities we talk about themselves REQUESTED a personal toilet/room to get ready in, also, we're talking that Jonas Brothers are three men who usually come from other shows and have to change and get ready privately whileas Nikkie may or may not have arrived ready and not have to change her stockings in a public restroom. Also, I believe Ellen just manages who comes on the show and is the host but in no way I believe she goes like "Oh yeah let's not give a bathroom to her, and yeah give one to the Jonas" um no. Also, we are seeing this person whose first time ever is appearing on the show versus people that Ellen know and have been on the show for years (nothing to do with popularity but consistency), it's kinda like rewards program for any restaurant... the more you go, the more perks you get and I don't think she was treated disgusting or bad just feel like for Nikkie, it was an inconvenience to have to walk to use a restroom, and that's okay but sometimes feeling entitled for the same treatment as others without understanding why they get it is wrong too. Especially after considering the views, it just seemed like let me put down others to put myself up. No no, tsk tsk, not the way. Both may have been wrong on this, but "cancelling" Ellen just for one complaint of someone youre fan of just shows that you're a monkey see monkey do. Make your own judgement!
