I'm obviously far behind but I have learned couple years back that you truly are the best teacher regarding coins and life. Truly respect and appreciate you!!
Far behind, eh? You're in a line with a few million ahead of you and 7 billion behind you, give or take a few. As for the ones ahead? Not one of them started out knowing a thing, until the day they started learning. If you do 1 thing, everyday, without fail. Just one ☝🏼 worryfree action, every single day, there's an amazing thing that happens, I promise, yóu'll find a.... ... nope 🤐. Can't do it. You're on your own...
Thank you for all you do! I've been saving pennies for over 25 years. Your videos have help with the time consuming process of sorting out the errors and also knowledge of the Lincoln cent as a whole! Keep em coming !
I've examined and weighed nearly 40, 1982 pennies, since I started collecting 6 months ago. This morning I found a small date, weighing 3.08g, can I really be that lucky? I have pics, if you're interested in taking a look.
You give back to us every time you post a video. The knowledge and passion about coins is priceless. The way you present yourself and these videos makes me feel like I'm just sitting around in the room chatting. It's us that owe you for all you do. Thank you so much..
Love your show so much, ive now got my 3 Gdaughters coin collecting ( 9,10,& 12)😆 and it so great to watch them scan any n all change they can find, and now want coins, instead of annoying toys. Its such a cool hobby to share with them ❣thanks for your great family friendly show, we truly enjoy it.!
Ty for bringing this in the forefront. I'm always looking into learning more.i started at 5 with my grandpa who allowed me to sort the coins like, penny, nickle, dime, quarter. After that he taught me mint Mark's. Then I got to sort coins at 8yrs to sort coins by mint Mark's as well as denomination.
Thank you for every video and all the time you have taken to make them. You have done it asking nothing in return. Bless you for that! You have given hours and hours over the past years to bring us valuable information that caused us to spend so much time checking our coins. And we love it! Keep doing what you do and we will continue to do what we do. Thanks again, Sean!

By far am enjoying your videos and commentary over other broadcasters. Keep up the good work and thank you for teaching me so much over the last few years. Keeping fingers crossed for that Father's Day giveaway.
I’ve been collecting Coins ever since I was old enough to recognize the difFerent mint marks! And since I’m old enough to read coin books. I understand it’s not so much the Age of the coin that makes it vaeluable! It’s the appearance of the coin! I have found a DDO 1975 Lincoln CENT and, I’ve even found a 1943D Brass Penny! Unfortunate both were Stolen! The 1943 was in VF condition! It made me sick, when I realized the Value of both!so, I’m continuing to look for the Coin that will change my Life! I find your Video’s veRrrrry helpful! Please, keep’em coming I Appreciate how you explain just what to look for! Thank-You sooo MUCH, Daniel! You’re Cool in my Book!
Hey Shawn those 1982 sm 2.5g pennies, I think I have 15 of them, and two of them look like the ones you’re showing on tonight show, the rest are shiny as the day they were made , however I don’t know much about the numismatic business, because I’m one of those who started to collect during COVID , that’s why I watch your show.
I am a newfound fan of Blue Ridge. Shawn the host is a nice guy and I appreciate the giveaway this summer. Looking forward to it!!!! Thanks Blue Ridge and have a wonderful Father's Day!!!!!!
Found a 1982 large date DDR last month. I also found the most interesting 1982 small date penny a month ago which looks like there could be a pre die crack on the obverse of the coin running horizontal, very odd and never seen anything like it. It's in very good red condition.
Great info . You are a great help and very informative and glad I found you! On top of that my 29th Wedding Anniversary 6/16 falls on fathers day just in time!
I love watching your videos. So informative. I have this exact coin but it looks better and the doubling is a lot more. Should I send mine in to be graded?
Thank you for all the information on coins. I've always been interested in learning more but not too sure what to look for. I love going through my pocket change to see if I'm walking around with a hidden treasure in my pockets. Thank you again for all your videos they are very informative.
Quick question ❓ This Small date 1982 Lincoln cent have a wide AM RARITY AS WELL? I just found one today with what seems to be a partial mint Mark? What are your thoughts on this one?
I was just going through my 82 83 pennies when this video came on.I believe its a good omen. I had a coin dealer tell me to give up on those that i was wasting my time.I was polite but said. Thank you but i believe. Thanks Shaun for more inspiration.
This coin is the exact reason why I never return ANY of my seemingly worthless 1970s and 80s pennies back to the bank. Time to go sift through the 82 rolls.. Thanks, Sean!
You posted this on the14th my husbands birthday. Your giveaways on the 16th and that is today. And today the 16th is my birthday. And also fathers day. But I am just now getting to watch this video from the 14th on the day of your giveaway the 16th. We're both disabled and can't type very fast so there's no hope of trying to get one of your coins you giving away. So we wanted to say Happy Fathers Day to you BlueRidgeSilverHound and all the other fathers. And Happy Birthday to me. Thank you for so many clear and understandable videos. Will be waiting for your next video.
Found a small date 1982 penny in my collection and compared it to the large date pennies, what a difference, although it is more like a shiny black color. Any takes on that hue? Thanks and my respect.
Hello BlueRidge So another one was found how lucky of that person but at least they knew something was special about the coin in that leads to you BlueRidge excellent videos and great information that teaches everyone coin knowledge that you provided 👍🏽🌵 Thanks so much for again for what you do
I'm glad you moved up your summer give away, I am a father of 4, and I am retired, started collecting, and watching your show, to answer many questions I had, and your videos helped me learn many, many facts, and information about all different denominations of coins. I watch a lot of other coin video channels and I think you have the best, informative shows out there. Thanks and keep up the good work. I tried to win on a give away for chicken dinner 😀😁,anyway I will be here Sunday. Take care my friend, I have a lot to learn, and couldn't do it without the videos you make.👍👍👍the old guy in Florida. 😎😀
Subscribed to your channel not too long ago cause I just got into collecting coins. Love the info you bring. Keep up the good work and HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
I have Missed your videos. I had to take a break after my entire coin collection was stolen. It was too frustrating to think of starting over but I managed to get over it and I have just started coin roll hunting againand watching your videos I will add this penny to my search list. Thank you for all your great videos and expertise.
Best way to tell an 82 small date from a large date is look at the long line of the 2 , the small date 2 looks more like a question mark "?" where as the large date it looks a straight slash mark "/ " .
Hi shaun, that 82 d small date zinc, (ddr ddo possible d/d and tilted memorial) I have one, just discovered it yesterday in my coins. I might need some advice on this and also have set of 3 43 p,s,d lines that are uncirculated and in a slab ( I think that's what you call it). I only double checked my 82's because I watched your video, so thank you for that. Kelly Hill las vegas
Thanks silverhound, I have a bag I started that I put all 1983's and all 1982's in the check the weight n 82d small date on em and now I'll separate and look at the 1982p for the dbl die thanks again for another great informative video on what we can make great money on or add a special piece to r collection
Thanks for the review about the DDR 1982. Hadn't heard of that one. Can see it might be easy to miss. Those 1982 coins were not often stuck well so it's harder to spot sometimes. The 2004 DDR is actually as strong as strong as the 1982 you mention here though. Of course, the 1983 DDR being the best.
OMG I HAVE JUST DISCOVERED THE EXACT SAME ONE .MAKING THIS #4 AND ITS IN A LITTLE BETTER SHAPE THEN THE ONE SHOWEN NOT BY MUCH .BUT BETTER.I WISH I COULD POST A PICTURE
I would like to thank you for all the videos they have helped as A new coin collector for the last 3 years and know I have one very large collection of DDies and error coins More Canadian coins than other countries but lots of US as well I plan on selling them I have not decided on what site yet I have the 1983 DDR looks like it was just off the press lol I hope its good bucks lol Thanks Happy Fathers day from Your Canadian Error Coin Connection.

Man awesome!! I have one in a high grade !! Just Amazing thank you so much I've been saving all my 82's in high grades a half a jar full. Thank you I will send pics soon. Still freaking out!!! Had a feel there was another variety .
Shawn good morning. I have a 1982 Lincoln Penny looks just like the Left one with the large date so what do I do now?? Heritage auction are picky about the coins...
Blue!! I watch you all the time and I learned of the 82 small date ddr. Well I found one! I'm going to get it graded and see what happens. I will let you know how it goes!
I found a very interesting 1970 yesterday. D has been repunched and so it seems the date, all the lettering on front appears doubled slightly, a partial letter is sticking out from under Lincoln’s chin that has been apparently covered or from being re-stamped, in between United and States there is an extra mint or part of the tail of the S that can be seen still. I have never seen one like this yet. I searched 1970 and other ones for that year with only minor faults with the D from being struck over with the large over small d
Probably wouldn't believe how many I found this year, There exciting to say the least, wouldn't sell them for any amount of cash but id trade 1 for a 1992 cam.
The coins are Icing on the cake! The real gift is the knowledge and time that you give us. Thanks
My THOUGHTS EXACTLY! Here's to You Shaun👑👏👏👏👏👏👏
Bravo💖

I found a very interesting 1970 yesterday.
