I've found a 2000 wam and a 2019 w San Antonio quarter in the past week. Keep looking in your change y'all. There's still treasures out there!
Indeed there is! I found a 1942-S Jefferson Silver War nickel in VG-12 condition yesterday in a roll of nickels I was searching. Continued patience continues to reward the patient. 😁
I have a really cool 82 d mint Penny that is multi colored yellow gold. Copper, red, black and a little green but it's so cool to look at! I'll put in my collection. Thanks for answering my questions! I really appreciate you!❤
I learned more from this video then I learned from anywhere I've looked to find out how to find out how coins get there value if there's more than one, (I'm hoping I'm making sense, you distracted me with the hole in your Jamie's under arm hahahaha!🤣)
I gotta tell you, your funny as heck,it's a treat getting notifications from your site,I've given up watching other sites that talk about coins. You not only explain in ways we can understand, but man you make it FUN!
THANK-YOU for being you, because YOU,,,Simply put,,,
Are AWESOME! You enjoy your day as well ok?

What's best way sale these
I have 17 1982 pennies that all weigh 3.1 and I found them in my pocket change but one of them is beautiful and shiny
Awsome
How much would this be worth I have the same thing

Are they small dates? I have 22 not small date and 7 Denver Mint with small date
1982 d pennies that weigh 3.1....(copper) are valued high....
That's a good find I have the 1982 without mint mark and one with
I just came across an 82 small day last night the waste three. One? There’s so many I can’t tell which ones are the better ones I know the 82 small D are the best but that’s it happening lol have a nice day
I have one of these. I also have a 1982 small date copper.
Well, you nailed it !!!!!
That's why we settle for less.. but who knows?
When luck strikes, it comes really unexpected. Thank you very much for this very valuable info. Kudos !!!
I just found five of them my first time?i actually have both the ones that weighed 3.1 and the one that weighs 2.5
Was it the small date or large date?
@@alyviafranklin9947 it was the one that looms like the loch ness monster
@@curtiskirby9028 Did it have the Denver mint mark?
Yes it did alyvia franklin
@@curtiskirby9028 oh sweet!! Might have you something then!!
I come across the 1982 cents in my register at work. I trade them out then weigh them to see if they are copper or if they are zinc with copper coating. Then I desperate them by small date and mint mark.
Help me find a buyer , l have lots of these coins
I love some of the remarks you make like time you said hello nurse
Great analysis Shaun. Registry sets is one of the greatest money-making scams in numismatics. It was specifically designed to milk the wallets of numismatic “whales” (millionaire & billionaire collectors) for whom paying $15,000 for a Zincoln that is destined to rot down in grade and become less valuable over time is so trivial that they simply don’t care.
It’s hard enough for ordinary collectors on family budgets to figure out ways to collect affordable coins without signing up for the registry set fleecing, which is why I will never participate in that scam.
Another issue: Registry sets have driven the whole “condition rarity” “top-pop” craze in modern coins. Again, this is a scam, IMHO. These coins are typically minted in the hundreds of millions, if not the BILLIONS. None of them will ever be rare or even scarce.
Paying exorbitant sums for common moderns in TPG plastic slabs is mass stupidity on the part of collectors. Your “valuable” and “rare” condition rarity is always at risk of becoming less rare and less special as more and more are inevitably found by folks who have the patience and the skill and the wallet to fund searches for these unicorn coins to submit to the TPG’s in hopes of a Uber-high grade. Holding such coins in a collection over time is an almost guaranteed LOSING proposition. This is quite unlike holding absolute rarities in your collection over time, like a 1913 Liberty Nickel or even a mint state example of a key date rarity like a 1916-D Mercury Dime.
I do not fault collectors who chase these modern condition rarities, (since we all have the right to scratch our individual numismatic itches as we see fit), but if you ask me, the truly smart ones are those who figure out a way to find and flip these coins quickly before the prices crater.
I have all 7 in mint condition both small dates has the floating roof
True, time of submission is significant; because of the market: first coin graded in best grade out of 70 highest grade; will get the highest selling price; IF you have the same grade. Not sure, but, the detail markers: RD, toning, LD, SD, DDO, DDR seems to be overriding the weight Cu or Zn or Br; it all depends on the market. Which alloy really retains color? Zn but, as if they color some too dull like tin aluminum; because, they were placing less amount of Zn?? But, that is where the grading stands for.
Nice ending...Mr. Anticlimactic! Lol...forget that fly, full speed ahead.💪🚫........::::: >-
nice I have been looking
John in Florida I have a small coin 2 it 3.08 grams
I got one 1982 new like that
Yes I can be done again, 1982D small date, I have 2 which will be sent off to NGC
I have a 1982 penny that weighs 3.1 grams/ Happy to know I have something that is good.
I have 2 uncirculated boxes should I sell them or return them to the bank?
I just pulled out a 92 with no mint and double struck on liberty and on the back on the word states its also has the rainbow colored die break. He's in good condition with a lot of errors.
Copper small dateq1982d 3.1
I been collecting coins specially pennies and separating them by year's but I don't send it for grading because it's expensive and also I make a 2 x 2 holders to put them just for my collection so far I have found some Indian head but it's not that good looking and now I will separate the 1982 small dates copper to zinc and also large date I don't know if have four of them because one of is hard to find.
Hi shaun
Just want to give you the good news, I WAS. on to the wrong 1982 LMC.- penny by the current and present knowledge of the coin penny . Although I was Pershing it as another find...
Great video man...
I just found a 1982D Small date that weighs 3.1
I collect both Canadian and American coins I have several coins from the 80’s that are amazing quality for the age. I just wish I could afford to send them in and see.
Shaun - I also am deeply suspicious of PCGS. The difference between an MS68+RD and an MS69RD is so trivial and subjective, in my view, that I suspect that PCGS will pressure their graders not to award grades above the 68 level very often - even when perfect looking coins are submitted.
They have a financial incentive to do this so that submitters submit larger quantities of coins to be graded in the quest to secure that ever more elusive MS69 or even MS70 grade that means a nice payday for them.
I think if you submit 1 to 10 coins at a time seeking a condition rarity top-pop grade you’ll NEVER see it. Never.
But if you send them 500 coins and put thousands of $$$ in PCGS’s pockets - then they MIGHT grudgingly “give it up” and send one of your coins back as a 69 or 70 - but by God you are going to PAY for that unicorn!
The TPG’s are not stupid. They are wealthy multimillionaires and this is why they got that way. They realize that there are lots of dealers and collectors out there looking for easy money and a quick payday. They exploit this greed mercilessly. This is why I have never submitted a coin to any TPG in search of a “condition rarity” grade. I only submit coins to TPG’s so that they are accurately graded and authenticated, which is the only real legitimate function of a grading service.
I got about three brown one too 1982 some with d
I have it ( 1982)
I Live in Niger
I have one to
I found a 1982-D small date 3 days ago.
I then founded a large and and a small date that had the same weight on both size of the two scales ..
I have recently come across 12+ 1982s that weigh 3.05+. Should I have these checked?

Hi Shaun this 2023 July 4th Happy Fourth. Of July...two things I like to share , with you and reader or viewerd
im lucky i found one so im going to turn it in and get it graded and try my luck too look at some of my shorts.
Yes, no mint sets in 1982 and 1983
His voice soothes me
Haven't saved the 1983 cents so maybe I will save them too.
I do have few of those Lincoln penny's from 1982 in weight them some weight 3.1m
There were no 1982 mint sets. That why there are so few of them in BU Red
I have one 1982 -D-red, the D is stamped below the surface like a dimple haven't seen anything like it so far.
Hello 👋 I have 1981 cent and 1980 as well.
I do have 10 of them 3.145 g & 2.54 g small data but no mint mark all r very very good & new condition. I m going to sell it in auction, after pcgs grading, I will deal with stackbower , within month you will see there ,
Saying that the value will decrease as more are found... I don't necessarily agree. If there's only a dozen or so in existence of a certain type, the higher grades of those could bring in even more at auction. Quality, rarity, & beauty overrides quantity. Even if there's a hundred coins of a certain variety in existence, big spenders want the pristine & unique examples of those (in most cases), & will fight tooth & nail to find or win them.
If you buy a 2019 uncirculated set from the mint, ( Denver and Philadelphia) do you think any of the quarters could be a West Point one??
No. All W mint coins were mixed in rolls for circulation. None were used in mint sets.
i have friends in canada that look for old coins in old cars..they take the door panels out of the doors..sitting in auto wreckers where you can buy the parts...
BONBON that’s a great idea!
@@marcshields3677
Yes it's a sweet idea we started doing that in the 70s and we go up in the mountains and find old abandoned cars take the door panels off and find old dimes and nickels because kids love to put pennies and coins in between the window and the door panel that was the time when you could do that and it was a joke for kids to do it I used to do it as a kid LOL and the coins were in good condition
When I was a kid we shopped for car parts at junkyards(we were poor), I would go through the junkers checking in the seats for change. I wasn't looking for old coins just some money I could spend.
@@crewnail1763
Lol old couches
crewnail imeldailove your show lhaveso many coin and silver penny I
And I don't know we're to sold
1982 d as well
The way I look at it. You can't take it with you. The grading dinosaurs might be going out of business. As the Coinage shrinks in a America. Anything old Will be of value. It's a Gamble. 50/50 chance.that someone will love and appreciate you are collection. Just like old cars. I love them. But I don't care to have one. All coins will be worth more in the future as soon as they stop making them. Thank you for your video. It's a saver.
Hey bro I have every variety of 1982 except the 82 d small copper and they are in mint state 67 ish maybe one is a plus or 68. What should I do. Which one do I sell?
I have these pennies copper 45,and Zinc also,
1982 small date with our mint mark weight 3.2 grams an it in really great shape
I have two sets of all of the 1982 zinc and copper large and small dates and was offered 22 or so dollars by a collector, so what’s up with that?
I have both zinc and copper in mint condition.
What about coins that have been put in a mold?they appear to be free from the effects of exposure, and handling.
I also have 2 1981 pennies and 1 is red.
I have plenty of 1982 no mint marks, 4 pcs 1982D
Hi Shawn I have a 1982 small date copper and a small date zinc how do I go best getting the best for both one is brown red and the zinc is red can you give an estimate what’s a good number to throw but I still believe grading both can get me a little more.
Watched a second time to help a viewer ;-) Noticed I had not commented the first time I watched!!
possibly greatest outro none finer
Hello sir,i have 1pc 1982 lincoln penny, how is the price?
I have 6 of the 1982 Lincoln cent.4 of those pennies which is small dates . please let me know just how to get the coins graded.Thank.
@Blueridge silverhound ,im stumped at how this coin went for so much its not the rare variety as its the zinc? Not the copper or brass planchet and strike can you clear this up for us please?
i have a small print no mint mark 1982 penny 3.11 grams. great condition
YA!I HAVE SEVERAL 1982'S!
One of the 1982 & a 1981 both have an error on the back of them. Looks kinda wavy
about the 1982-D; since all 1982 were Copper; then, it should follow that the rarest is 1982-D in ZINC? Unless in Denver they never made any 1982 penny coin at all in about 1 year when the modification was decided? When we see more 1982-D in copper; then, it means that the rarest is really 1982-D in Zinc.
I found one now.
No. 1982 was the year they transitioned to zinc. You want the copper ones.
I just got one in change the other day 1982 small date no mint mark, very fine condition. Would love to find out how much it is worth. I have other 82 small and large dates with mint marks need to get all appraisad . some of them have to be worth something. Not sure how to find out the value for them.
Be very carefully who you ask and never tell its location and write down all info on coins with good fotos to show, trust nobody.
They didn’t make Mint Sets in 1982 and 1983.
Yep!!!!!!! YOU ARE correct? Or...they didn't make PROOF sets?Keep me posted ❤
Margaret Stoner They did make 1982 S Proof Sets.
I just found 1982 P Small Date Zinc 2.5g is it a good one?
I have one 1982 year of unencoded copper weighing 3.1 grams.
Also have 1970 S with doubleing seen most inthe top of date
Is a 82 penny small date d mint weighing 3.11 grams valuable thank u for comments
1983 Lincoln Memorial Cent ..pennies full Brown Red Brown
Bronze or Copper Struck ..
I have 6 of them.and all coppers
La tengo 1982 y 1982 D. En buen estado nuevas
Very good condition
Oh I just found a 80 no mint but double died big time in liberty and the date. The 80 in the date looks like a 1920 penny but it would have to have the wheat on the back and mine doesn't so it has to be 1980 right? I was comparing it with my rainbow colored 80 that's in shiny condition and neither one have a mint. I'm trying to collect cool looking old with errors. I have all the 80 70s 60s some 50s ect but not all of them are candy to the eyes so I thank you for answering my questions!❤
Freaking fantastic man
That video helped out a lot basically I have a couple of stupid pennies that probably aren't worth crap anyway and I'll go in a penny roll and into some Bank or businesses cash register be gone with them I say. Boy that one coin to change my life hmmm .
I need help I have a 1982 Lincoln actually have a couple that weigh 3.11 g but one is I'm absolutely for sure is totally the one How do I get these looked at or grated who can I trust any suggestions?
Seriously it’s a crap shoot. Maybe it’s better to look for top pop 1982 copper for the long haul beauty but then you’re back at the mercy of the graders. Born under a lucky star, or possibly have to be able to spend 15000.00 in grading fees before they let you have a top pop? I’m not sure how it works but it’s very frustrating and expensive! I’ve ended up with several just under top pops, just out of the high end $’s. And of course several learning curve failures, not gonna lie. Lol! I’m at the point where saving for that high end, already graded coin may be better for my pocket book. Thank you BR for sharing about this beautiful coin though and lucky seller and lucky owner! I’d love to be either! Lol
