      Seasonal changes and body fluctuations. I’m not sure if I will want to wear it next season or I will forget to take all the winter clothes out of storage etc.

      The most challenging is considering your "office clothes" especially when a certain event require a specific kind and design of clothing.

    I love the fondness/frequency matrix! I've never thought of it like that, but it looks like it'll hold a lot of value for me later. Unfortunately for me, my biggest challenge in keeping a minimalist wardrobe is that I simply don't have the money to replace the clothes that need to go, so a lot of stuff I own is something I'm not fond of, but have to wear frequently. It's hard to feel confident when I don't like how my outfits look, sadly.

    This is a decluttering process that really makes sense and easy to do. I frequently wear not fond clothes at home just because the budget for buying new clothes are for something else, something more important.

    Great video! Biggest challenge is 4 separate seasons with temperatures ranging from 100F to low teens F
    And needing running clothes and jackets for workouts vs casual clothes and occasional dress clothes. Wide variety of needs based on temperature and activities But I like your quadrant idea I will try it

    I love that way of looking at things! It’s easy to keep too many pieces for rare occasions. I had a lot of duplicates that were for the same function. I live in a climate where it’s easy to collect a lot of different types of jackets - for mild weather, really cold weather, raining heavily, a little bit, raining in warm weather, or not raining, city style or casual hiking style... I think I’m down to 4 now. Not bad considering we need jackets about 9-10 months of the year.

    • @ThoughtworthyCo
      @ThoughtworthyCo  Рік тому +1

      Lucky for us, we don't have that problem since we only have summer here 😆 but four sounds like a reasonable number of jackets for a different climate! 🙌

    No challenge @ all.
    If I have to dress up to go to a venue, I rather not go. If the venue cannot accept my attire, it's not my loss.
    Such as weddings. If I wanna go, I wear what I want. Restaurants etc.
    My everyday attire is tank top and shorts and slippers. Best.

    When you purchase new items for your wardrobe, I was just curious if you factor in sustainability. I just watched the 2015 documentary called The True Cost, and was shocked by the damage that fast fashion does.

    • @ThoughtworthyCo

      We do try to pay attention, but if we’re honest it’s not an area where we do our best, since we don’t do as much homework on the brands, etc. going into it compared to other big purchases. But that’s a good question!

    • @ThoughtworthyCo
      @ThoughtworthyCo  Рік тому +1

      That's definitely a likely scenario. We don't actually have any winter wear at the moment (no trips planned, unfortunately!), but the storage space under our bed is where we would allocate our infrequently worn, bulky clothing :)
