Saipan: Then and Now

These are photos of locations on the island of Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands taken in 1970 and again in June 2013. The song is a Saipanese folk song, "Upon the Hill Lies the Village," sung by the Oleai Civic Youth Organization (OCYO) and recorded in June 1970 by Tom Zink.
