With a common poor idle condition on my Volkswagen Golf Mk5 Gti 2.0ltr TFSI
As you can see in the video the lambda readings on a warm engine we had plus and minus 5-6%
Once we checked again on a warm engine we had readings of plus and minus 0-0.8%
Though on initial start up it was clear our idle problem was fixed.

😂Yh pulling the manifold is hard because it wiggles but stuck on by the blue seals but then taking the injectors out is abit tricky aswell because it’s tight inside the head

After installing new PCV valve . turned car on gave it 5/10 min to warm was ticking over fine and sounded smooth started driving
Drove for an hour with not 1 problem what so ever was running mint as I’ve got back letting it tick over EML came on and started idling rough
Fans stopped and was nearly stalling on tick over after a min or 2 it stopped trying to stall and fans kicked back in now ticking over fine a min went by it started idling rough fans stopped
Any ideas as to what it could be much appreciated. Haven’t had it checked for codes yet will be getting it checked Monday / Tuesday

Thats sounds frustrating, i think there is a pipe off the back of the rocker cover rear left side, that may be split and causing vacuum issues or it could be the rocker cover gasket

These nozzles are well washed. The main defects, the grid comes off and goes inside, the nozzle performance decreases, and the spray pattern on the nozzles changes. It is necessary to get it by vacuum and check it on the stand at 40-120 bar.

It was a daily workhorse, and it pulled like a train, so at the time, the benefits from cleaning them wouldn't be worth the time it would take to clean them. with the valves like they were, it was still happy to do 40+ mpg at 200+k miles

Not really to be honest, its more of a prevention issue, when your in there, remove them to prevent them failing and going into the cylinder/valves.
Due to age the plastic parts degrade and fail

Still blinking CEL, miss did not follow with injector swap over one for each and is still missing on 1 & 4. What could this mean?

I've been chasing a misfire on cylinder 2 for 8months. New plugs, new coils, new pcv, even compression on all cylinders. Thought it will be the injector but just checked block 107 for lambda and it's bouncing between 0% to 0.8%. Can it still be the injector in this case?
