As someone who only every now and then will mess with dual extrusion, will the printer still perform well as a single nozzle setup? I ordered the CR-X and ever since have seen horrible reviews on it lol.
Where did you get the CR-10 profile that you mention at 4:38 mins?
Can the CR-X use soluble support materials as one of the two materials? If so, how do you configure this?
Thank you
You need to turn off energy saving mode otherwise the bed turns off which is why prints come unstuck from the bed, somthing you don't get told unless others tell you
I'm currently considering getting one so anxiously wsiting to see what the problem is. Thanks for sharing your efforts! :-)
thanks for this...I've had mine for 2 years now and still can't get a successful dual color print so I gave up...I figured out that hair spray can get the model to stick really well (too well) but havent had the time to get the dual printing thing down.
did you end up making that second video?
Could you possibly help explain how to set some of the things up in either cura or S3d? Thanks
It's February 2020, if I buy it today, are the issues still not solved?
How did you change the backgound from the white to black?
Please share a link to download all the files about the profile.
Thanks
As always the creality machine has a issue with the X-axis being higher on the right side than on the left side.. that’s why it comes of.
Damn you creality.. 😪 but I was thinking perhaps it can be fixed putting some 1-2 mm piece of *** between the base and the left canary side.
You have a wrong minimum volume value for the Prime Tower. I followed your numerical value. But mixed when the color changed.
Your numerical value is 120? If you do, you will not be able to clean it when the filaments change. I have suffered all day for your numerical value.
It is the Prime Tower Size: 30
Minimum volume of Prime Tower: 60-70.
Prime Tower The minimum volume is twice the prime tower size, and the colors are mixed and extruded.
Hello how change the plastic?
Purpose of purge blocking??
My cr-x just scrapes along the glass bed and I can't lower the bed anymore the yellow springs are tightened as tight as they go how do I get the nozzle higher off the bed I just can't get it low enough to level the stupid bloody thing had it for 6months with only half a print... please ANY suggestions
Slot the holes on the limit switch for the Z-axis. Then you can move the switch upwards, which gives you nozzle clearance and adjustability.
hello
just a question.. i love this printer but i also say the geeetech a20m (that mixes colors...) does this do the same thing?
Did you ever find the answer?
Why is the purge block a cylinder here? In other videos it’s rectangular
The shape of it is an option in your slicer; I chose to check off "circular prime tower"
The other videos likely used the demo gcode that came with the printer, which I believe all use a rectangular block.
Sangat membantu
Purging seems to be a waste of filament.
I have a CR-X for a few days now and it prints the samples fine, but anytime I try to print anything else it will start fine and go 1-2 hours and then it just stops. Everything is on, the hot end and bed still hold their temps fine but it just stops. If I turn the CR-X off and back on it will ask to resume the print. When I choose to resume the print it will run a couple minutes and lay plastic down how it should and where it should and then it just stops again. I have tried restarting several times and it just continues to do this.
Thoughts? This is my first Creality and I am still pretty new to 3D printing so not sure if I am just doing something wrong or not.
Thanks
cura 3.6 works a treat
Will this work with cura 3.6?
yes
i need the start up g code can anyone help?
same as the cr 10
But I already got a CR10?
This is dual color, with effectively a CR-10S board, and the integrated control box.
"Pallete 2"
The Pallette2 is nearly the entire price of this printer. Then you still need a printer to work with it. Dont get me wrong, the Pallette 2 is much more fully-featured at 4 colors.
