I've had the blue Falcon 2 for about a year and love it. Early on I got water into the watch. I'm pretty sure it was my fault--failure to screw down the crown. They repaired it rapidly at no charge. So agree re the customer service.
I’m surprised, must say. I’ve had by now like 6 Lorier watches in my hands and none had QC issues from new. I know they take care of you like family. They did for me when I sent the Gemini in because the bezel got stuck. Out, fixed and back in my hands in like 4 days. Can’t beat that. I also did a video on how good they treated me over the years. Great video friend. 🤝🍻
“That guy” sends watches back for imagined QC issues. You are not that guy. I would have sent that $500 watch back cause I wouldn’t want to sweat the water resistance issue. Thanks for the video!
I bought the same white dial PVD Falcon 2 and I agree it's beautiful, but the all gold case and bracelet was just too much for my style. I'm just not a "gold" guy. I flipped it and got the white dial steel version and it's become one of my favorite watches. The perfect balance of elegant and sporty and the compact size just keep bringing me back to it. I also have a Neptune, Hyperion, and Gemini. I'm a huge fan of this brand.
Aside from everything else, I really like the look of that crown. Seems like they took time out to think about that one too! It adds a utilitarian look to an elegant dial. This vid confirms the good quality of the inside of the watch. Great job!
I have the white dial with the silver bracelet. Thankfully, I haven't noticed any QC issues on mine, and I've had it for about 4 months. It's my daily driver and I absolutely love it! It's really hard for me to reach for my other watches, because I'd almost always rather be wearing this one. So comfortable and classy!
Hi Aron…how’s the ability to read the silver on white in low-light conditions? I’ve got a SARB035 that’s tough to read under low-light (before darkness when the lume kicks in). I’m debating between the black & white watch…but I don’t love the gilt on the black.
@@chriscon8463 I personally haven't had any issues with legibility nor have I heard it raised as a complaint about the white dial version, which, perhaps counterintuitively, seems to be more legible than the darker dials. I don't have direct experience with the SARB035, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I think the black outlines around the hour markers, the bolder lines on the minute track, and the superior lume would make the Lorier more legible in low light, especially given the polished indices on the SARB. If I had to really nitpick the Lorier, they could have perhaps chosen a matte black edge for the hands instead of silver for increased legibility, but I don't think it's a big deal. If you're drawn to the design, then I would say go for it. I really don't think you'll be disappointed and, if you are, I don't think you'll have any trouble selling a Lorier on the secondary market.
Their customer service is great. Fortunately, I’ve only contacted them for questions about availability and shipping times but still received quick responses. My watch doesn’t have any problems
I'd like to see it on a really nice leather band.... It's a lot of gold with the bracelet as an everyday piece for me... Special occasions.... Wow that's a lot of bad QC! They need to inspect their watches before shipping them!
Beautiful watches! I’m trying to decide between the black & white dial. I’m thinking the contrast between the dial & light-colored hands may be greater on the black dial than on the white (for low-light conditions).
Great review. I purchased the blue dial variant and mine was okay. I really love this watch and the lume is awesome, truly my favorite watch. Don't really care for that PVD gold but then again it is your watch so I hope you enjoy it. I hope you can get that crystal fixed, but Lorier really has great customer service. Did you get a look at the Lorier Safari that they did with the Urban Gentry. I really like it but I wish they would have gone with 20mm lug width instead of the 18mm. 36mm with 20mm lugs is my sweet spot.
I recently bought their new chronograph. It arrived not working. I sent it back and they got the package but then lost the watch so they just sent me another one. About two weeks in and the reset pusher is already sticking. Also, when I push that pusher that starts the chronograph it pushes the chronograph hand back a couple seconds and then it starts. Not sure if I’m just super unlucky or if this company just sells bad products. Not buying another watch from them. That’s for sure!
Both very nice watches. Perhaps Lorier may learn from their mistakes. 1 customer, 2 watches, both have issues...I wonder if their QC guy was out that week...Cheers!!!!!!!

I mod crystals all the time. No need to de-case the movement. Just firm pressure on the problem area (if you rig up a make-shift die)....and voila!
