Just got this on the bracelet & it has female end links 🙏🏻…… the moral of the story is don’t purchase the 1st gen of any watch .The same as don’t buy the 1st version of a new model car.Wait until they’ve ironed out all the issues & then buy the car/watch with all issues resolved

Dude just wanted to earn views on negative review of something everyone likes. Horrible you can not even tell it is 2:13 or 2:14. A guy who is sooooooooooooo concerned about one minute need to buy atomic clock not prx for 400$, but chanel views and subscriptions tells everything about reviewer

Have it since 2 weeks (used, unworn €135) took bracelet of, put tropic on. Not been of the wrist ever since.

Big difference is the day date complication. You can go swimming with 50m, I have with my KKing with no issue.

I would mod the glass and bezel when it eventually gets beat/scratched up. Despite the comfortable band, i would replace it with nato strap or long island bracelet depending how you wanna dress it.

I have this one from my Grandfather. He bought it new and wore it every day until the day he died. I had it in my safe for 20 years. I finally got it out and wear it in my rotation. I have grown to appreciate the look of this watch. Everything on it is original.

Merkur make excellent watches. I really like them. I love the look of this but I have a San Martin 62 mas chronograph which is using the same movment so I'm trying to restrain myself! I was quite surprised at just how good the movment is mine is well into COSC and on my wrist 24 hours a day.

I have decided to replace my metal Skmei - Shock with this combo. I am waiting for the 5600 to arrive and will order the mod kit soon. I may then send it away to be Cerakoted - trying to decide which colour... 🤔

Good things come to those who are on the back end of things, they cost $55 today in 2024 and have updated the whole thing to a better higher quality watch ... well worth the price.

I've just got the black version.Took 2 mins to do most....but i cannot get the springbars back in after removing links. Literally doing it now. It is without doubt the most fiddly thing I've ever done. I have to join it back twice as i took links from each side.

The Lorier looks stunning tho. That San Martin isn’t as eye catching in my opinion.

Phenomenal watch but a couple things I don’t like about the bracelet. Male end links but lucky the have changed them to female end links. Bracelet at The clasp is too thick, It would be perfect if it would be tapered down from 20 to 16mm. Other than that I’m very happy with it.

I may bet in lifa it s not Miyota 8125 it s Orient 6922 if may see movment ? Miyota 21j and work on 21 600 ?

50 meters of water resistance is about 165ft. Whos diving deeper than 80 ft tbh. Its water resistance in a pool or rain is perfectly fine. Even as a diver to 120 which is highly unlikely its fine

Fuking irrelevant when you go 2 meters deep in the pool

When I started collecting vintage watches, I swore I would never buy another quartz watch again, even a modern Swiss quartz. However, this watch got me interested because of it's attractive retro look and even more, it's attractive price. I immediately ditched the nato and purchased a Bandini Orange leather rally band with chrome hardware and it was a perfect match. This watch will be my Summer casual go-to semi-beater and yes, it does look good on the beach when dressed in white linen. Total investment: $46 for the watch and another $25.99 for the band in 2024.

5.25 That issue is pretty common with the ETA F06 movement. Ive got one in my Marathon MSAR 36 quartz and it happens. If, when setting, you roll the minute hand forward past the minute you want then move it back it solves it

Honestly, the WR doesn't mean much to me. I think the 100m rating of the KFA is being a bit generous with a push-down crown. Any watch of mine that doesn't have a screw down crown isn't going anywhere near water. If I'm going to the beach or the pool, I'm wearing my $150 G-Shock. 50m is more than adequate for what this watch is intended.

Now they offer this in various movements (mh35 or miyota 8215 or pt5000

I love this watch, I have both versions, both 38 mm, one with a date window. The lume on non date alot better!

I really like Hamilton, I have khaki field mechanical 38mm, I really like the size, so like yourself I would go with the 38mm automatic.
