David, I love the way you teach us so many truths in a narrative manner. I would consider myself as one who studies the scriptures but i have never thought about the words like you do. What a remarkable gift you have. Thank you for this class. You're awesome.
You are an amazing teacher!
Thank you so much for these videos! I love the way David teaches the gospel. The Spirit was with me while I was watching this.
I have absolutely loved these lectures. I wish I could be there in person. You have such a way of helping others to understand the simplicity of the gospel and the restoration. You make those involved much more real and authentic. Thank you so much for following through on your inspired revelation to do these lectures. For me, living in Washington I feel sometimes that I miss out not being able to live in Utah but this makes it possible to partake of the inspiration that is to be had from around the world.
I am learning SO much and feeling SO much. Thank you David.
I'm so loving these classes.
Thank you so very much for sharing these videos with us!! They help me understand the Gospel, scriptures, and restoration in a whole new way. So amazing! ❤❤
BTW...I like your Dad jokes, and puns! 🤣🤣
You are teaching me patience because I'd like to binge watch this whole series, but no, I have to wait 7 days...your killing me Butler.
Can you please do a series on the old testament....what a soap opera ... I love it!
Thank you for teaching us! I love your perspective. 💕
Okay, 1) “fresh off the press” hahaha I laughed pretty hard. 2) I cannot believe you got to hold that Book of Mormon.... idc whose it is!!! And now I need to come to this book store ASAP!!!
I like the prepective with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
When I taught the old testament in seminary or even church history you see how flawed these men and women are. You can almost lose faith with their " messiness. "
But then you see how God works with the imperfect, the down trodden, the concieted, the ignorant, the learned, the humble, the sinner, the sick, the gifted. And then I realized that's me and God can and will work with me.
You speak well God and Jesus are the heros
I can’t thank you enough for doing these videos. Every one of them has such a beautiful message and reaffirms thoughts I have been having. God is so good. He really is the hero of our stories. This video is exactly what I needed to hear to help me have hope.
love these lessons.
I can’t wait for you guys to do doctrine and covenants.
AWESOME CLASS!!!! Thank you Bro Butler
Amazing, you make everything so real. Thank you
These classes lead me to a song that I haven’t heard for a very long time but links to the thought of the worth of what was buried in the Hill Cumorah. The song was written by Kenneth Cope/Greg Simpson and is found on the 1997 EFY album “Treasures of Truth” and is called “More than the Gold”. Here are the lyrics: “Boyhood yearnings pierced the sky, believing has its sway. Light of dawning turns the night to day. Holy voices sweep the soul and sins are washed away. Answered questions filled with hope, and love runeth over from the heavenly gaze. Worth more than all the gold found in the ground. More than trusted tutoring, tradition has handed down. More than learned sages claim to know. God’s word is life, and truth is the prize, more than the gold. Guarded knowledge soon restored. As angels wend their way. Records buried long ago reveal most clearly the heavenly faith. Worth more than all the gold found in the ground. More than ancient languages, hero’s handed down. More than years of history now made known. God’s word is life, and the truth is the prize, more than the gold. From the grove to the ground, men and angels bending down. From the hill to the heavens, where the final trumpet sounds. Worth more than all the gold found in the ground. More than fame’s obtaining, and the praise of men renown. More than treasures rare and wealth untold. Truth is the prize and the riches of life, more than the gold.” Hope this moves you as it moves me regarding these miraculous events of the restoration.
Oh David! Couldn't you expand this series to 523 parts? Between this and "Don't Miss This" I am constantly filled. Thank you so much.
Jax Jewkes 👆this. I’m so grateful for his insight.
I had a twist on one of the anthems of the Restoration last Sunday when we were singing Hymn #27. "Praise to Jehovah who communed with the man"!
David could you, maybe, at the end of your video do an up close add on to you video of what is in the display case for us to see? Please?
In video 1 or 2 the owner of the bookstore does tell us what's int he display case.
@@RickTapkey yes but it would be nice to actually see it too.😊
Actually there is a command against putting stuff in the way of a blind person. Leviticus 19:14.
Are all those things in the display case always out to see? I want to come see when I come up!
No. Bro. Moon must have a warehouse full of the most wonderful , ancient, artifacts. He rotates them through so whenever you visit you will be amazed.
What is the name of the bookstore? Thx
@@MinPinSteve Moon's rare books in the shops at riverwoods
Where is the quotefrom at the end where you talk about belief?
