Nice, I love these opposed twins. Some 15 years ago, when my dad and my uncle got identical new lawn tractors, Dad's was a V-twin and my uncle's was one of the last opposed twins, and I always wondered why my uncle's sounded so much rumblier and cooler. :P
I love these older opposed twins. Nothing comes close in quality that is built today. Only motor I'd buy new is a Vanguard V-twin (they're still made in the USA, surprisingly) but the new consumer grade Briggs Intek and ELS are junk. I can't tell you how many of those I've had to fix already. I LOVE the older Briggs IC singles and twins, and the older Vanguards. Nothing comes close.
A friend of mine a couple houses down the street had a White Outdoor Tractor with an Opposed Twin back in 2016. He took it over to my house and him and I went for a small Tractor ride around my backyard. His parents divorced and his mom took the tractor with her. Last time I saw the tractor was in mid-late 2016 at his Mom's house. Don't know what it's up to now. I really want one of the O-Twins but the 14HP OHV Single Cylinder I have right now is a very good engine.
i’ve got the same tractor and it has no spark and blows the fuse every time i switch the ignition, no spark as well. i’ve changed the regulator, magneto, and other parts, and nothings worked. any ideas?

@@LowBudgetProductions yeah we had an Intek. It ran well but had an excruciatingly hard time starting in the cold. It's a parts engine now.
