The turbo function is for turbocharged vehicles its also called a turbo timer. It lets the car run for a few minutes after you take the key out and walk away letting oil flow throught the turbo to cool it down rather than just shutting off the engine.
Exactly. I love turbo timers. When I had my Turbo'd 350Z I used to use the turbo timer just to walk into a gas station for a drink or something and keep the A/C or heat going. Super handy.
Also for starting to warm glow plugs before it starts engine.

That’s nice I have a diesel truck and normally I’ll sit and let it idle for a couple of minutes to let it cool off. That’s especially nice for when you tow. But if I just drive a couple of miles down to Walmart it doesn’t get hot enough so I don’t worry about it.

Thinking of getting one, but I don't like the idea of the LCD screen getting scratched in my pants pocket where I keep my other keys and multi-tool. I wish the remote had a design focusing on durability rather than being all glitzy.
If you don’t want the screen scratched, get the CompuStar Pro T-11.
The Pro T-11 has all of the features mentioned in this video and the key fob is indestructible. The screen comes protected with a VERY thick film over it. I had the T-11 for 7 years and it didn’t come off. I hope this helps.
The drone app gives you unlimited range, so long as both the vehicle and app device has signal. The LCD remote, however, has a 3 mile max range.

Is the Compustar key fob vulnerable to the relay attack like the factory key fob when it’s in the passive unlock mode? How much does the Drone cellphone subscription cost?

Probably a dumb question but I haven’t seen the answer in my searching. If you remote start, do you still need to use the key once you get in? Seems like you would still need it, but I haven’t been able to confirm.
Does your Durango have the factory proximity unlock, where if you put your hand under the handle it unlocks for you? If so does it still work that way with the Compustar proximity off? Like does it still unlock the doors & disarm the alarm?
Yes it does have the factory thumb proximity. It works fine as well. Plus you can use the aftermarket fob for the COMPUSTAR

Yes it’s all in sync. The factory proximity works the same as the aftermarket system. If you arm it with the factory thumb prox it will arm the COMPUSTAR system and in the drone mobile app it will show as “armed”

Think this would work on a 2020 jeep I take the doors and the roof off all summer and I’m just sick of animals sleeping on my jeep seats lol
It should but check with a COMPUSTAR dealer to be sure
Kool Tutorial. I though Proximity sensor only works 3-6 Feet from the vehicle and not any Further, you claim it unlocks your door from your house?
Its been 2 years since this review, how has the alarm held up?
Yeah the proximity feat is unpredictable. I noticed It has the potential to randomly send a signal and unlock your ride unknowingly! That’s why I keep it off

The t12 got nothing on the t13 I looked at the t12 but it couldn’t do near what the t13 could do
Do you have alarm/remote start setup? If so how long does your remote battery last on the t13? Mine with very minimal use lasts a week and a half!
Mine last around three weeks on minimal use probably a week and a half on frequent use. But it will need charged more often depending on your brightness setting and vibrate setting. I would tweek the fob setting for optimal battery life
Had a Honda with viper lcd remote that would last months of use when using it every day
Would this protect ur car from catalytic thieves?
You will get shock/vibration/tilt notifications in real time if someone tries to take your cat cnvrt and the COMPUSTAR pro T-13 is installed. But I would suggest getting the dual shock sensors and drone mobile, full package to get fully protected. (Not cheap but worth it!)

It doesn’t take a battery, it recharges by plugging it to usb cable

How loud is it when the drone app in your phone gets triggered by the alarm? Loud enough to wake you up?
It will wake you up for sure. As long as your notification is on for the app and you have a good speaker on you phone
The remote will def wake you up if the drone app doesn’t

Hi can this work on a diesel engine that needs to be preheated before starting?
Yes, the installer can just preset a 10 sec delay. I just got mine on a 2021 Ram 2500

I’m not sure but I wish I could have got certain things pre programmed with mine
Nope but you can buy the kit and program it yourself very easy I had no real experience and was able to do mine very easy

Absolutely, factory fob works as normal

Is the 3 mile radius just to srart the vehicle or for everything? I park my 2nd car a few about 10 miles from where im at due to not having enough room in my apartment at a parking place but i would like to have the phone app tell me if anything happens , is the drone phone app have a mile limit to where it shows you if anything happen?
You can use the 3 mile for all functions such as remote start/stop, trunk open, aux 1 and aux2. You get your alerts/ triggers alarm from anywhere via the drone mobile app as long as you have a solid internet connection on your phone.

Does the proximity feature work while the car is on after turning it on with the auto start ?
Yes
What does the valet mode do?
Car parks it’s self. Very useful in tight spots, you don’t have to worry about getting out and dinging the door.

It’s when you take your car somewhere that has valet parking. You enable it and It’ll disable the alarm so the valet doesn’t trigger the alarm

No it doesn’t have the motion sensor, it has tilt sensor, shock sensor, and glass break sensor

It was about $1000 for me

@@thekrimsonchin6023 I installed mine myself it’s well worth it the 3 mile range is no joke I was able to lock and unlock my vehicle at school between concrete walls and it worked I really love the compustar alarm . I had a viper alarm system that was crap nothing compares to the compustar I get notifications if anything happens while I am away I really love it and will be putting a second one on my other vehicle

No

No, but you can get it to do an oil change & fill gas.

This Remote makes more sense to me verses its companion Pro r5 one button with Pro t13 you don't need the Drone for an SUV. Unprofessional installer A Class Sounds out of Minnesota 😢😢😢😢😢😢

Will I have to have keep my OEM fob together with this? Two fob carry?
No. You won’t need the oem fob at all once the t-13 is installed, just the t-13 fob is all you’ll need
That’s kind of what I thought but the Authorized dealer I went to told me I’d need to keep a fob with the alarm remote. He said most people just hide it in the car somewhere. I was all excited to get it installed until he told me that. Hiding my OEM in the car just doesn’t sound like a good idea. Not sure why they couldn’t just move it all over to the t-13. It is a 2021 so maybe it’s the anti theft tech in the Challenger.
I have 2 of these … you NEED the oem remote with you also
If you do the rf hub lockout security update from dodge I don’t think this fob can be used to start the car,you can’t even make new fobs after the update.
