A friend of mine caught some one trying to steal his '89 fire bird he told me that he snuck up behind the prep and clocked the thief in the back of the head with a 2x4 . I told him he did the right thing but 1 day a thief will try to steal mopar from the wrong person and will end up with some lead . It has happened before and I had no sympathy for the thief
The Z Automotive Tazer has Pin Lock now. I have a 2020 Chrysler 300, if you tried to start my car, you have 20 seconds to put in the secret Pin on the Steering Wheel. If you guess wrong, put it in drive or do nothing and the 20 seconds counts down the Brakes lock and all of the exterior lights flash. No one can drive my car but me.
I was looking into that PIN code from another company . They provide a feature if you get car jacked just get out the car and the car will stall after driving off and lock itself down
@@WhiteHornet392 ya the Tazer does that as well. You have to have the key on you, once it leaves the car you have to put the PIN back in to put it in drive or it will lock the breaks down and flash the lights.
Pulling the fuel ignition fuse or installing the old fashioned way is to install a kill switch like you mentioned. Well here’s what I did boys and girls. I had a 2k 5.9rt that kept getting broken into. I bought a spare garage door opener and pulled it out of the case. Then once I had it programmed to open and close the door I wired it to the glove box light switch. Any time I left in the morning I simply had to pop the glove box to close the garage door. When I came home in the evening, same thing open the glove box and open the door. One morning at 2am I’m rudely awakened by my garage door opening and run out with a flashlight and my pistol. I was able to recover the thief’s cell phone as well as a bunch of stuff stolen from my neighbor’s that he had dropped while running away. The police said they recovered someone’s pants and shoes a block down covered in shit. I guess the trap scared it out of them.
You didn’t list the most important tip of all: get the RF lockout so a new key can’t be programmed at your port. That’s how 95% of these cars are stolen. It’s a free option at any dodge dealer.
@@budlanctot3060 Your car comes with 4 computer-key slots. 2 of them are assigned to your key fobs, the other two are left "blank". Why? If you ever lose your fob(s), the dealer can make you up to 2 more. The RF lockout simply deletes those 2 open slots. Now, only your 2 fobs will work. The downside, if you ever lose your fobs, the dealer has to install a whole new pcm and can run up to $400 bucks plus labor. But seriously, have you ever lost both of your car keys? I feel it's a worthy option considering how easy it is for thieves to program their own key right in your car.
@larrygarms7230 very interesting. Ok, so could you just have 2 originals and 2 spares, then there is no more room for a spare made by potential thieves?
I have a 392 - that being said, v6 is under-respected. They have 300 HP and can beat most cars out there on the road. If you can drive better than that 392, you won the race - there’s not a lot of seconds difference-They are just sleepers. They also have the mopar style and class.

My friend all this nonsense. I’ve seen thieves get real elaborate and steal cars in broad daylight using tow truck with fake numbers. Literally wait till the owner goes into a building and have a look out follow them inside, and the tow truck will come and drag it way. At the end the day they’ll have no less than 3 vehicles

What is the RF lockout?
Is it different from the oem "immobilizer"?
Whats the name of that steering wheel
Vechkom Steering Wheel Lock with Alarm Anti-Theft Device Security Car Anti Theft Safety Lock Retractable Protection T-Lock a.co/d/ceyN1l8
IF i can afford a Hellcat, I could also probably afford a guy with a shotgun to watch my car. LOL
Why I just stick whit a V6 no one wants a V6 😂
I have a 392 - that being said, v6 is under-respected. They have 300 HP and can beat most cars out there on the road. If you can drive better than that 392, you won the race - there’s not a lot of seconds difference-They are just sleepers. They also have the mopar style and class.
Spending all that money for all of that just get a snatch off sterring wheel
Do you know if your able to add an alarm system and just use the alarm features so you can still have the original key fob to use remote start with
Yes the factory key fob will still remote start your car 👍🏻
Drop the link in the comments please
All items can be found on Amazon but I can provide you the link. Which one do you need a link for?
what activates the alarm??
Will that steering wheel lock fit a C7 Corvette?
Not sure but you can always return it to Amazon if it doesn’t.
More like how to piss me off he done scratched and touched my car he's screwed
Insurance come steal mine and I’ll get a new better one lol

Buy a manual transmission
What good is it to call the police when you don't even know where the car is located after the thief tossed out the CarLock?
$50 for a neutral release cover?
No thanks, I'll make my own.
Yea it cost $5 to make if you have the tools. But gotta make money on it somehow so I get it.
No more Joy rides anti-theft device manufacturer in Detroit Michigan videos on UA-cam covering the gas pedal and locking the brake pedal no one can drive your car you have the choice of lock combination lock if you have kids you don't want to drive your car
Tow truck drivers can't do that again if both legs and arms are broken
@@trevoratchison3904that's putting it mildly ..they wouldn't be vertical
Must live in California 😂😂😂
All these deterrences are great, until they stick a gun in your face and tell you to get out of your car.
That's why I have my own and stay aware of my surroundings
tow it away in 2 mins
I'm sorry but your garage door will not stop me if I want it bad enough. But who am I telling.
Pool noodle on the string. You can’t fish the emergency release through the top of the door with that in it 🤔
Stay home with a ring camera and a gun.😊😊
You forgot # 9. Don't buy a Dodge
One thing I seen from a co worker was this, he put a bottle of (AIDS MEDICINE) and a bottle of (CONTAGIOUS SKIN EATING BACTERIA) pill bottles on the seat and dash. At first I did not want to even sit or breathe in the car lol
Who steals these cars? Like what race and I think I know who it is but I’m just sick and tired of this work society, considering myself of liberal I’m more in the middle church. Everybody gets a butt hurt nowadays.
