@@AlexsRTLife Thanks. Did you wires the starter kill relay on this compustar remote start? I want to know the detail of it. Because I want to prevent thief stealing my car with their own hack tools especially those people have push to start feature.

Hey Alex, been watching for a while but I’m coming back to this older video as I’ve just had compustar t19 installed on my dodge. When I do remote start, I do the same as you & even press unlock to disarm once I’m at the car. Where I’m getting stuck at (and can’t find an answer anywhere) is how to fully start it so I can drive off? I noticed your gauge cluster and infotainment screen are dim like mines.. how do I fully activate the car for driving? Thanks in advanced.
Your installer may have a different setup. Mine is setup so that all I have to do is press unlock on the COMPUSTAR fob while on the vehicle and I can drive off.
Good video! 2 questions. 1. Do you need the original factory keyfob to drive off or could i just hit the unlock button on the compustar remote after remote starting and as long as I get in and push the brake on time, it lets me drive off? (this would be concerning because if I had remote started my vehicle and I hit the unlock button and someones racing me to my vehicle, they could drive off without the keyfob) and 2. Have you had any issues with battery drain? Any help is appreciated!
What year is your car? Having issues with my 18 Grand Cherokee; pretty similar setups besides engine. Compustar can't figure it out, why it's not receiving data so it can't be programmed.
All depends on the car. If it's an radio frequency fob that needs to be near the car to start then you'll have to carry both or us the lockout feature and leave the cars fob inside it.
I have SiriusXM Guardian Tracking and Uconnect on my Chrysler 300. Will these services still be available after I install a Compustar PRO T13 with LTE + a Drone X1 LTE Module?
So it proximity unlocks just by walking near it? I dont have to put my hand in the door handle? Does it automatically re-lock if I walk too far away? I dont want my car unlocking every time I walk by it.
Yes this system does auto lock after walking away a certain distance. Also the Auto Unlock I believe by default only unlocks when (maybe) 2 feet or less from the car. So not necessarily in passing if you’re far enough.
I know you said you can turn off the automatic proximity sensor, so if you do, and you go put your hand on the handle, will it automatically open it up with the keyless access?
Does this unit replace the OEM key fob? Like can you leave the OEM fob at home and only use this. I've been looking for an alarm that doesn't require two remotes.
Hey bro so you do still need your key on you correct didn’t know if I would have to carry the device with me to or just my keys I don’t mind it if I have to carry both just wanted to be able to start my car as normal with my push start for a hellcat so wanted to be able to use my red key still
Thanks for the great video! Do you know if this voids the warranty? I just bought a new hellcat Durango and that’s the last thing I want is to void it.

Hi Alex, I got everything installed in my car. I live in a cold climate, so I usually start my car from a distance. I disabled the Proximity Unlock (I don’t like that feature) so when I get near my car, I press the unlock button on my car to unlock the doors. Then I sit down, put my foot on the brake pedal to change gears, and my car shuts off. What step am I missing so that the engine does not turn off, when I press down on the brake pedal?
@@AlexsRTLife Okay. So press the unlock button on the Compustar Remote to unlock the doors from the outside and then press it a second time before I put my foot on the brake pedal?
Once your in the vehicle, press the unlock on the COMPUSTAR fob and then you should be good. Do you have your factory fob with you while driving or not?
Not the same thing, I'm really glad I went where I did, different model...I checked out best buy and after some thorough research, completely different
When I press the lock button now the chirp sound and the animation has changed from the one you get in this video. The animation shows the door flapping open and close. Any ideas why?
@@AlexsRTLife it just happened within the last few days. At first I thought maybe I armed the car before closing 1 of the doors. Otherwise it works as normal. I just dropped my 2019 Toyota Highlander LE key fob star to a Compustar pro dealer to install T13 pro. It took him two days not finished yet I asked why you didn’t install the siren he says the diagram of your vehicle system said horns I said no I need it. Then he said if I increase the sensitivity it will bother you and neighbors it will go off all the time. I’m confused is he not certified on what he claims he is expert on? What is the drama he making it? He didn’t install even led light? I asked him about gps drone he said everything are hidden there. I’m confused
Did you setup your drone mobile account and test the functions through the app?? No siren??🤔. But if they installed everything correctly all your functions should work. Why did it take two days???
@@AlexsRTLife I saw in one of your other videos that it was going off with false positives and in the middle of the night, what was wrong with it and what was the fix?

Does it auto lock arm the vehicle after remote start? Does it relock the door once the door is fully closed all 4 door? @Alex's RT Life
Yeah, it does that. And you set it up not to auto lock

Does the anTena need to be connected for this remote to work, and does this remote compatible with any cars ?
Definately needs the antenna. It’s has a wide range of comparability but not sure for all cars
