Why should we use this instead of regular conformal coating? Also, when you need to resolder, can you just let the iron burn through it or do you have to do something to remove the coating? Thanks *not a criticism, genuine question*
I think they both have their places. Regular conformal coating is good for regular use just like wet dew but It’s brittle so you have to re apply it. Mine is thick and will fully protect you in rain and submerged under water but to solder you have to peel it away and then solder can’t just solder through it.
Hi... Thanks for the vid!...I need to waterproof a low profile GitUp F1 FPV cam to mount onto a large RC Sailboat. I’ve found that the worry free FPV causes my caddx vista to stop transmitting OSD. I thought it was just bad luck after a crash (I applied your stuff during the rebuild) and that the caddx was also damaged. Well, purchased a new caddx vista and installed it before applying sorry free FPV to it and it worked perfect with osd being shown. Don’t know if it ruins the caddx or what but I will attempt to remove all of the worry free FPV from those areas to see if it comes back. Either way you may want to put a warning in the packaging or something because it was 2 for 2 in stopping my osd from working.
