Alhamdulillah yes as Muslims we eat dates when we break our fasting for 30 days. And when a child is born a small piece is given to baby balance sugar levels in infant. Prophet Muhammad ate date often. It balances healthy sugar…😊❤

What about cooked dates? My grandfather ate cook dates every morning of his life. He was a very healthy man. Does the cooking affect the benefits in the dates?

There are many types of dates with different GI levels (you will get stronger cravings and become hungrier faster the higher the food's GI is) and the high fructose in it in addition to the one coming from sugar (sugar is split into glucose and fructose in your body) in them may not spike the blood sugar but the body has to break it down in the liver like alcohol which contributes to fatty liver disease. Fruit is still much better than any of the grain-based, processed carbs, candy etc. but I wouldn't exactly call it super healthy, yet fruit can be part of a healthy diet when consumed in moderation.

Dr mendel natural dates but in gulf country sometimes they try to manufacture there dates as they add honey or even sugar so if you eat this you put alot of weight

Reports are that the food consumed... meat, eggs, butter which is me every day as a grandmother for last two years, is almost completely utilized by the body and there's not even a lot of waste products.
