I've heard of people getting their Costco membership in Mexico and it's cheaper that the US price but the card still works in the US. I like that Costco does make adjustments to their stores as to which products to bring in. Even within the state.

新年快乐🎉 to you too! yes it's been a while! I have not been feeling well lately. Costco was insanely busy. I don't know if the prices are cheaper because the items are larger and the quantity more. I can say the bagels are cheaper! It is usually $39 hkd for 6 small frozen ones in Hong kong or it can even be $20 for one fresh one at a bakery. Here it is 55RMB for 12 which is a steal!
Do you know if it's possible to bring an empty suitcase into Costco so I can put my items inside? I saw one in your video, but just curious if you saw more. Otherwise I don't have a good way to really stock up on things. 😂 I'm planning to go there this week. Also, do you know if you can you pay with a foreign credit card, like a Visa card from the US. Thank you for any advice you can share! I'm super glad I found your video, and I hope it's calmer at Costco now that it's been a few months since the opening.

Yes of you have time I would recommend u stay the night. Shenzhen is really big and there are some other things to do there too. But if you're just to see Costco then a day trip is fine.
I'm planning to hit up Shenzhen Costco when I visit HK. I don't think I'll be buying much but more so to check out the food court. No car when vacationing and besides, I'm a tourist. What would I do with Costco sized products? I'm not going to ship things back to Canada.
I'm disappointed that it doesn't have more authentic Chinese food. It appears to be more like any other Costco with some Asian flavors mixed with regular Costco products. Even the food court is lacking. Only real Chinese product seems to be the bean soup.
I think the allure is to have an American store in China selling American products where u could only them get if u went abroad. You can get Chinese bulk items in other stores.
I go to Costco for the spacious relaxed shopping. I hope with time people get to enjoy that aspect too.

They have the bulgogi bake in Japan too (I'm guessing they also have it in Korea and Taiwan).

Yes u can bring an empty suitcase. Can pay with foreign card I saw signs for visa and MC. But I didn't try that out. And yes it's calmer now 😊

Yeah not really for visitors since most of they stuff u can get from Canada. And th Asian items are either perishable or in bulk.
