Excellent vlog. Saw the first vid. earlier this year. Glad I saw this new one. Did not understand the 0+3 rules. I was planning on a visit in Dec., but now the waiting continues. This is the 3rd year I have not visited HK. Miss it much. Thanks much for video. Enjoyed watching! TST and Nathan Road are great.
Hey jess! How’s it going! Haven’t been around for a while, so that means there’s a few videos of yours that i am gonna need to pick up! This one is amazing! I love how you introduced my place to me! Thank you for the hard work!
Been waiting for the restrictions to be fully lifted. Can’t wait to come back and buy a new iPhone haha. TST is definitely my most favorite district of all. Enjoyed watching your vlog. Thank you for letting us know the current situation in HK.
I've been to HK three times, loved it. I was planning on returning with friends who like me are martial artists and Bruce Lee fans. Sadly, the world changed. Now we are talking about that same trip. Hopefully when all restrictions end we will come.
@@JessBeyondHorizon hi. May i understand on this 0 + 3. .....we need to avoid taking public transport and public places, for 3 days ( what about from Airport to the city?,) . Also, .....for 3 days we need to have self checked surveillance...How do we check ourself ? In what method or ways of doing it,? Or is it a Apps downloaded for us to report we are negative covid??? Sorry, i am very confused on this whole thing ! Hope to had your reply .tq.
@@kokwahtan8577 yes you can take public transport, although the government advises you to to stay away from crowded places. I just made a step by step video here. Hong Kong 0+3 ARRIVAL PROCESS During COVID | What you NEED TO KNOW tourists/residents | Nov 2022 ua-cam.com/video/idqzvk3NIWY/v-deo.html
Great update, interesting. Good to know what is happening, in short, we don't know, mainland China etc.... (Video here ok, maybe in my opinion, skip some of the selfies and the added music, small thing, pictures from the city is good by itself.)
Am planning to visit hong kong in march and am excited only because i only want to visit for sight seeing like victoria harbour and watching the skyline from victoria peak etc.
Communist government still overreacting in opening hk. Even Japan is now open without those restrictions. I pity hk people their livelihood was badly affected
Thanks for the video :) I'm thinking about visiting HK soon and I have a little question I can't find an answer to anywhere else :( My question is where do visitors eat during the first 3 days upon arrival? Are people only allowed takeaway in their hotel rooms? or are they allowed to eat outside on a park bench maybe?
Thank for watching and commenting 😊. You can still enter the restaurant and order takeout. Or download food panda or deliveroo for delivery. You can eat outside on a park bench, youre allowed to remove your mask when eating or drinking.
@@JessBeyondHorizon Thank you so much for the reply:) Great to know it's okay to eat outside. I was worried I'd have to go back to my hotel everytime I'm hugry!
I'm coming to hk in november for the first time since 2018!! Hopefully the weather is good :) are there few or many tourists in november? Maybe more now since no quarantine.
@@chyelantay2467 I'm going for 17 days, returning just before December on the 29th of Nov! I'll update you then on how it went :) I'm excited as Hkg is beautiful during Wintertime 😍
Hi, I am considering to fly to HK this December. However, I am not sure about how the 0+3 works. Who will do the daily rapid antigen test? We will have to do it ourselves or we have to go to a center or something? And for the PCR tests on 2,4,6, do we have to secure an appointment in the centers, or we can just walk in to be tested?
You have to do your own RAT test and upload online. The PCR tests you have to book at a community testing centre for free. No walk in unless u register on your leave home safe contact tracing app. www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/inbound-travel.html
@@JessBeyondHorizon thanks for your reply. Before getting the green pass, are we allowed to ride the mtr? Im getting vague answers about that. Some said allowed, while some said not sure. I just know we cannot dine in restos nor go to crowded places, but not sure abt public transpo
@@cocherrie7332 you can ride the MTR because there is nothing stopping you from doing that (no need to scan a contact tracing QR code) but you should be avoiding crowded places as advised by the government. Maybe that is why you are getting mixed advice.
I would like to bring my daughter to hk in 2023 but find the inconvenient of 0+3 rule s not able to go restaurants n malls for 3 day even though we going for a week
Criteria for Discharge from Isolation for Infected Persons The default isolation period is 14 days. Nevertheless, if you have received at least two doses of COVID-19 vaccines: • You can undergo RATs on Day 6 and Day 7 after obtaining a positive test result (the day following testing or collection of sample is counted as Day 1; if there is no such testing or collection record, the day on receiving the test result is counted as Day 1). • If you obtain RAT negative results on both Day 6 and Day 7, you may be considered as recovered and continue with your daily activities. If your household member(s) are infected, you do not need to wait for their recovery to complete isolation. • If you obtain a positive RAT result on Day 6 or Day 7, you should continue isolation and undergo daily RAT until negative results on two consecutive days are obtained. You may then be considered as recovered and continue with your daily activities Adapted from www.coronavirus.gov.hk/pdf/tp_handbook.pdf
