Dang, that is pretty. 100% impractical, it's made for a glass case.
Says you, if I owned it, I'd be riding it, hard
If it runs I will daily it.
Still worth it
Genuine question, not trolling, but what part of that do you find pretty?
Personally, I don't think I've ever seen a bike I find less aesthetically pleasing.
It's a motorcycle. Practical is a Van.
A beautiful work of art with all the durability of frosting.
A ten year old GSXR750 may not look as pretty but at least it’s usable, durable and not fragile. It would be very interesting to see how this thing stacks up against a bargain bike on the track.
🎯💯 Gixxers are a true No Gimmicks riders bike! I've owned a couple Srads & have the original 1985 GSX-r750 & '86 GSX-r1100 Slabbies - I need to get a Modernish '08-2012 GSX-r750 that would do me - I don't want Traction Control or Fly by Wire crap - Cheers 👌🇦🇺
i'm pretty sure people who can afford the AMB001 also have a few gsxr's in the garage
In my opinion, a ten year old GSXR750 is *_waaaaaaaaay_* prettier than this.
A ten year old gixxer that's been crashed and set on fire is better looking than this thing.
that's not really the point, it's more to do with the fact Aston Martin was involved, therefore "Aston Martin made a bike". looks pretty pretty. but i'm a sucker for green
Not really a fair comparison. Gsxrs are ridden into the ground, while this thing maybe will be ridden a handful of times by its owner. Two machines meant for different purposes.
- Oil and filter every 5h
- clutch thickness, timing chain and valve clearance every 10h
- pistons, head gasket and gearbox every 20h.
- u use ur smartphone as a display
And in the end, after a short drive, it had already started to fall apart 11:10 , what a joke 🤣
Definately a POS. I'll stick with my $2800 suzuki that has 47,000 miles with zero issues for now.
Aston Martin went full "sucker born every minute" with this one.
British Engineering™ if it starts in the morning, buy a lottery ticket
I think the cell phone thing is a cool gimmick.
Saves to company from replacing faulty dash displays.
You would think it would at least have a shift light.
And less HP than a stock Hayabusa LMFAO
A rain light for the track ! Even if I could afford one I’d never take it on track in the wet, that’s crazy, I love it.
FINALLY a review of this beast. So far there's only been one video out of Japan - and there you can clearly see it's not happy, most probably due to the ethanol issue. Sounds incredible, probably the most beautiful bike I've seen. Also, the collaboration between Brough and Aston seems genuine here and not just a marketing gimmick. Love it, top job guys!
Thanks for the watching and for the comment!
Wish we could have had more riding footage with it but obviously considering the maintenance schedule we want to keep it as fresh as possible for the owner.
Beast? Hardly.
More like a dog.
Interesting that so many think it's beautiful. IMO it's one of the ugliest bikes ever built.
@@EddieTheH de gustibus...
Lol more like an overpriced piece of garbage and you have sht taste
Looks like a great floor lamp.
I never heard of this bike until you guys got one.
I wasn’t sure about it, but 2 minutes in, I love it
It’s pretty neat
We appreciate you having an open mind! I wouldn't say it's the bike for me (if I could afford it) but I always love sharing cool/different stuff that comes through our shop.
The soundtrack was a lot better than I thought. It sounds raw like it should, and it would be good to one day see a few clips on-track as well.
Finally a review of this bike!! And what an awesome video, thanks guys
Beautiful ´´never have´´ dream bike, piece of art, thanks for sharing
Absolutely beautiful I'm in awe
Thanks guys. Keep doing what you do.
This bike is absolutely beautiful.
WOW AWESOME INCREDIBLE SUPERB TOP ! ! ! ! ! !
What a great video - thanks for sharing. Given that they estimate that only 5 of these will ever be ridden, this is pretty special!
Great piece of content & just put me on game !
10 secs into this vid ....and Bang...this BABE IS A BABE AMONGST THE MVS AND DUCATIS...THANKS FOR THE TREAT
Back in the day.
I had a RC30. The owners manual was similar.
Had set-up sections for sprint and endurance racing. If I remember correctly. Engine rebuild was at 10k miles or two endurance races of a certain length. Or once a season for sprint racing.
I can't remember exactly, but it was interesting it had a racing maintenance schedule.
I think the valve check was twice as long as a full rebuild 😏
I think the clutch pack was only rated at 1k. It was a long time ago, hard to remember.
This seems like an incredible waste of money. Of course this is what poor people say.
Probably the same thing someone in a third world country would say about me spending $1500 on a one owner 90 GSX-R 1100 when I already have several bikes.
I think I'd rather have a Britten for a one off track bike.
My new fave
True beauty follows engineering, not vice versa. That bike is truly beautiful.
the engineering cant be that good if the maintaince intervals are that quick...
The output is also nothing to right home about.
But the design is nice .
thats industrial design
But is absolutely useless as a motor bike
Cool, thanks, very informative, interesting and fun facts. Sweet bike.
Thanks for watching and for the feedback!
Amazing
Wow, that is beautiful. I know, if I gotta ask how much, I can't afford it. Spectacular!
What happened to the exhaust pipes? The rest of the bike is magnificently flowing and effortlessly sculptured, then those pipes look like a first go from a low hour amateur cut from bits of stock?
I'm sure the service manual is referring to hours of track use, so if you use the bike in the streets is not that serious.
The H2R is the same way, Kawasaki recommends rebuilding the engine every 20 hour of use, but I put over 10k street miles on mine and never had any problems.
Isn't the H2R not street legal? Or are you implying that you ride it on the streets anyways because no cop could catch you lul
Honda RC 30 was similar.
Owners manual had similar recommendations and set-ups.
Exactly, to anyone that hasn't done a full track day or raced cars/bikes before, 20h is actually quite a long time to be pinning the throttle wide open. A lot of cars would recommend similar times
Lol you have the H2, not an H2r
You the best bro tanks perkonsian nya ok
All Hail Aston Martin 🎉🏁
Gorgeous bike! the ignition switch is definitely an afterthought though.....
This bike is for rich people who don’t ride. Perfect melding of design, engineering and performance….Ducati, and much less expensive
Just because they don't turn up at your local track day it doesn't mean they don't ride them, the people who buy these bikes can afford to rent the track.
@@medler2110majority of people who track and can afford this bike will still go with a superleggera at the end of the day
Sound is good! I would love to see from all Sportscar Brands a Superbike!
Love her shape
Seems as tho with the maintenance intervals its basically art that should never run unless you want it to come apart.. Looks cool tho.
I would love a go on that thing 😎
wow
Great video! Sans lipsmacking!
Neat
A friend of mine was given a Breitling watch when he got his wings as a fighter pilot. It lives in a drawer at home. He wears a Casio. This mototorbike is the Breitling. The Honda CBR 1000 is the Casio.
So if you entered in the 24hour le mans you would need to do a piston change at 20 hours, + all the other stuff before that.
😂 It would be Rooted after 1 event @ the IOM TT & get Shamefully Demolished by Standard 600 & 1000cc OEM Supersport & Superstock Bikes! What kind of a Tosser would pay for such a Sh*t Heap even if you were a Saudi Sheik I bet you could by a Collection of Legit Superbikes for 1/2 the cost! I'd take an RC30 Ducati 996 ZXR-750rr VTR1000 SP1 & Ducati Superleggra over this any day 😂 Cheers 👍
@@purebloodheretic4682It wasnt even properly tuned based on that crazy idle surge it had.
Service schedule measured in hours,,,, surely that's a misprint,, ,, anyone,,
this is for people that have more money than they know what to do with. The KTM 1290 superduke is just as powerful if not more and possibly lighter for a fraction of the money. People that buy this bike just showcase it in their living rooms as an art piece. It's a beautiful bike though for sure.
It's a rich person's play thing, it's too bad it's not street legal.
It's for the best, no 0lace to carry all the tools and maintenance items you would need before you turn around and go back home
That’s one sexy ride!
That is a beauty does it come in all black?
They really need to make a road going version that's a bit more practical and then wow
I would drive it on the street if I owned one, ,Awesome...
Sounded strange as it was idling and what was up with that loose gasket around the exhaust 0_0?
I would definitely ride it on the road.
That's what we like to hear!
There's always a "work around" for pesky regulations and old outdated laws.😏
@@franktaylor7617 if you can afford this bike you probably also can afford to hire the officers needed for that job ,-)
AINT NO WAY,, THIS IS BYGOD ONE PRETTY TOY ....
And I thought my ZX14 7500 mile spark plug interval was a bit much. Of course these types of machines aren't for the regular working joe. They are for the multimillionaires. It is great to see these type of works of art. Pushing the industry forward.
And she's temperamental just Iike me.❤
Silliness on a grand scale.
Autobots let's roll!!
I visualise this with a bigger front nose and it's stunning
Fior fork system was tried on 500cc GP racer many years ago. That was the era when engineers were trying to make motorcycles as stiff as possible.
The front was built like that so the front doesn't "dive" under braking. Extremely capable from what I've read. Never heard anyone say it was for stiffness.
That era was about stiffness, particularly stiff frames. You can see it watching old footage how the bikes were very unforgiving. Front end experiments were also about stiffness, along with other characteristics, such as control under braking. Im just talking about that era.@@loonaticsrunningtheassylum
Considering Aston churn out some the most iconic and best sounding engine notes, they have managed to make this sound like a 50cc scooter
Curious about why it's got wet tires on? Can anyone explain. Guess I should have waited till the video was over considering he just talked about them. I would guess they weren't being used and better to keep the slicks in new sticky condition and wets for getting service
I’ve sold my house , wife and children, I now have enough money to put down a deposit on the AM001 👍🏻
looks great but my back hurts just watching this video lol
Where is the modern Vincent black shadow..?
lost me at phone mount
Sound is exactly like you'd expect from a Brough.
DAMN..... shes a looker.
But she'll never get off her ass and constantly speed your money
Haven’t they already made a successor to this with 225hp? I suspect the maintenance schedule is even more extreme...
Correct, they recently announced the "AMB 001 Pro" with 225 horsepower and some cosmetic changes. Crazy stuff:
www.astonmartin.com/en-us/our-world/partnerships/brough-superior-pro
A detuned street legal variant would be the ultimate move.
Why does it sound similar to my 899?
คุณก็ออกแบบรถได้สวยมาก คุณจะก้มออกแบบรถกับเราไหมเราคิดว่ารถต่อไปจะเป็นระบบ automatic ทั้งระบบ
Why so small?
Beautiful bike but that seating position looks brutal on the lower back
If they decide to install single-sides swingarm like Ducati, this would make it even sexier
very cool, never thought i would see one run. very beautiful with lots of trick details. That being said, NFW. An absolute waste of money only for people with money to burn. Even 8 could ever afford it i would rather buy five normal bikes and all would stll beat this thing at any test worth giving
Can't wait to get it in GTA online
At the end of the day we all completely know that this bike is only meant to sit in huge living rooms and temperature controlled garages and is just a fun way for rich people to flex throwing away $100k without thinking about it.
I almost bought one of these. It’s beautiful, but now that I have learned of the service intervals, I’m glad I didn’t buy it. Also, I learned that the power unit is turbo charged, so there is an undesirable turbo lag. Don’t know how much of that is true.
Just sounds like any other twin to me
My wrists are sore just watching this... It's probably pretty uncomfortable to ride too.
😂
Someone tell me I'm not the only one who thought this bike reminded them of Cyberpunk 2077's motorbikes?
SoOo it's a Classic POS from the other side of the Pond
Great, they made How Many?...Cool, Keep it over that Side
We Already have a Local POS Here, No need for Another
Made in France by Brough Superior or Boxer Design
Correct, I made sure to mention that!
"Low Brow Inferior" it should be called - with that crazy maintenance schedule & pricetag -
The parts replacement list makes Modern MX 450 Race Bike look like a Rolls Royce 😂

That was awesome
very silly, very beautiful
Excuse me...Your phone??!?!
Is it supercharged? Has some lope to it. Anywho, work of art for sure. But if I got 120k to drop on something it’ll be a DB9…. For bikes I’m more than satisfied with Honda and Yamaha 🤣
But since I’ve never heard of this thing before now, definite props. That things cool, even if ridiculous.
It's turbocharged!
715 kmh
Oli just reduced the life engine to a 20% in 5 minutes
nice sounded like its got really long legs
There's a video of the prince of Bahrain doing donuts and a 180mph flyby on this bike
Do you have a link? Would love to see that!
Try yamli search engine...
Free Falastine ✌️
It’s got the maintenance schedule of a 90s 2-stroke Mx bike 😂😂😂😂
If Honda made a $100k bike you would never have to replace anything on it.
Pitty they didn't make one for the road
I bet Keanu Reeves has one of these already ordered
Doubt it he is smart and likes to ride
Y not with Thornton hundred they’re English
$120,0OO Imagine trying to get insurance, got a say its impracticable, the wind buffing on that would kill you, that's if you can stay on the seat! looking at the test ride, looks like its got a lot of over steer
Definitely an art. Not a bike, just art...
You wont ride around your art statue for commute or a race, u display them in your living room.
And everyone thought V-twins sounded bad, and how V4's, V/L5's along with I6's sounded best....man IDK.... this is absolutely, absolutely the best V-twin I've ever heard.... and that's over my TV'S speakers lol....if it wasn't 1:45am I'd turn on my Edifiers that are connected to my TV just to hear what this thing actually sounds like, or closer to lol.....God this thing sounds better than a Ducati or Aprilia V4 😵💫😍
And what's crazy is, this looks to be the exact same block used in Brough Superior's own S100 MkII.... and they sound nothing alike 😅
A bike to look at.
looks like the terminator autobikes
this bike looks like its some gta v motocycle
Sounds like a Bike in Cyberpunk2077 lol
