I recently had my metal pin link watch bracelet adjusted for free at the jewellers but I always appreciate these informative 'how to' type videos because it means I can adjust/replace my watch strap from home as and when needed. Thanks to Antonio, Gavin and all the RMRS team. All the best as always! Sean
Just adjusted a watch for my son in time for his prom. Thank you for making this video. It made the process quick and simple and the watch fits him perfectly.
Thanks! Bought a replacement band, but it was way too big! Was able to fix it based on the info in this video in about 5 minutes. Thanks a ton for saving me a ton of $$
Great video thanks. Just adjusted drew bracelet type. Had all the tools and didn’t even realise what they were for - mini flat blade screw driver and a push pin screw driver. Thank you for posting.
I work over a white hand towel. I don't have the stands to hold the watch seen in this video. The towel immediately holds any fallen part where it lands and it being white contrasts to easily see.
What's a good alternative to pin pusher? Don''t have one. My Timex Ironman has a solid pin on the strap and i may need to remove the strap to open the back plate to change the battery.
"Your gonna need special tools for that!" Pfft, did it home with a small hammer, pliers and a very small T-4 multitool bit. Wouldn't reccomend on a very expensive watch, left a mark or two. But nobody will ever check the state of your watch band around the pins. Very informative video though, thank you for the tips and pointers. :)
I bought this popular video watch from nkuwan , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $380! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
Very good video full of tips, covering different styles of wrist bands. I've managed to do it at home, even with some minor improvised tools. Thank you for the upload. Congrats for the quality!
Nice video but honestly, most people don't have that many watches (that need adjustment) that justify the cost of all the tools you need. I mean for the price of these tools you can probably have 5-6 watches adjusted.
Number 1 - go with the screw connected bracelets. They are the easiest to work with (I wear and recommend - Strapcode). Number 2 - for each watch, buy a leather strap and some NATO straps. Change them out every couple of months. Remember - a new strap = a "new" watch (and it's MUCH cheaper)
Alas, my watchband doesn't use _any_ of those methods. It does have arrows on some links, but those links have a pair of oddly-shaped pushbuttons facing inwards towards the wrist; the pin ends are not exposed and cannot be hammered or pushed. And I have no idea of how to use the little pushbuttons. Nudging them gently with a small screwdriver does nothing, and I'm hesitant to apply more force until I know what direction to apply it in.
Sometimes the store you buy it from will do it for free, others will charge a one-time which you can get it re-adjusted for free in the future with a receipt
Thank you for making this video. Following the guidance herein I was able to add a link to my watch bracelet that was slightly too tight, and I now have the confidence to adjust my other watches as needed in the future. The VoiceOver from RMRS' Gavin was superb. Very clear and enjoyable to listen to.
When I was a young child, probably around 5-7 years old, my dad used to have a Rolex. I really liked watches back then (explains why I love them now) and I kept fiddling with my dad's watch whenever he took it off, especially playing with the locking mechanism of the watch. I even tried to assemble it and reassemble the watch strap, by using safety pins and forcing the watch pins out. Then one day, I lost the little pins and my dad never wore that Rolex again. I think he threw it away actually.
yeah, having to buy that tool to use it "once" is overkill.... just take to a reputable jewelry or watch shop place they might make the adjustment for free..... but know how it's done, is probably the best bet.
I wonder how many got damaged from the hammer and pin from people slipping. Also if you do not buy those cheap kits with the blue pin pusher, there junk and youll destroy your strap. The little pin isn't solid so it wobbles and slips. I definitely wouldn't be telling a bunch of new watch owners to use a hammer, pin and block. Thats the most risky. They sell cheap little plastic thin pin pushers like he had, those make it a breeze.

Antonio, you do an impressive British accent.

Wow, the voiceover artist in this video is magnificent!
Informative! Was waiting for months to get my watch size reduced but did it at home itself!
Your accent coach did a hell of great job with you lol great video stay healthy
Haha! Glad you liked it. But seriously, it's Gavin - from the RMRS team.
@@RealMenRealStyle ah. Well that explains the British accent.
Thank you for this, while not having the specified tools I was able to take out my links with tools I had on hand
Did a double-take... That's not Antonio, but I recognize those dulcet tones. Great voiceover job Gavin.
Thanks Will! I agree - he did an amazing job on this.
Thanks Will haha!
Thank you so much! I am so grateful I found this channel. I just finished 2 of my favorite watches and now they fit perfectly! Thank you all so much!!

Thank you very much for this. I was able to adjust this myself without having to use any jeweler's tools
I will likely never need this information again, but it was clear and concise and now my new watch fits perfectly
Just did it myself. Thank you. Fortunately my watch strap came with the punch pin tool. It was a big help.
Pagani design?
He makes it look so easy.
Thank you so much, I just got my first watch and it made refitting so much easier!
Thanks, this video helped me adjust both Metal Bracelet and Sliding Buckle straps. It was so easy.
Thank you! Saved me a trip downtown!
Tablas so much!!! You da’ bomb!!!! Super easy and very well explained!
Really useful information, concisely and clearly enunciated. Phil.
Glad it was helpful Phil! Thanks.

One can do it also with small hammer wooden block paper towel and small nail...for us who are broke to buy special tools for it.

Such useful information that could even be turned into a craft. Love RMRS
Is it acceptable to have more links on the outer side si it fits my wrist better? If even it pulls toward the outside

Great information Loved the new voice over
I have a Garmin MK2i descent T1 bundle. I am getting some watch repair tools to do DIY
Any1 knows the name of that tissot on the cover of this video?
And thanks, good an simple video 👍
Antonio, what you think about Seizmont and Sidegren watches (Denmark brands)
Nicely done, Gavin!
Thanks, this really helped me ❤❤❤
Great video - adding some British class I see. Nice job Gavin!
That video is exactly what I needed, just at the right time. Thanks Antonio!
Awesome video Antonio & Company! Just so happens I was trying to do this on the same exact type of watch, Vincero Chrono S!
I broke the springy part for it to clasp and close on a pin link bracelet. what would the specific name be called
Thanks. You are a serious man.
You missed a type. My Casio watches have a sliding strip kinda thingy. They're very hard to adjust.

Does anyone know which brand was the sliding buckle watch?
Very useful information Antonio. 👌🏻⌚

Thank you for making this video.

I only buy watches with screw links, so non issue here LOL. great video though.
Please let me know the use of plastic hammer?
TOP MARKS MATE 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
My jeweler knows me as the kid who had that one watch serviced.
Also why a vincero as the watch in the video?
Why not? I don't think there's anything wrong with using Vincero or any brand. 😁
@@RealMenRealStyle I think with most of this crowd would rather see something a little more elevated, you know
Great video
Thanks Arslan!
Very helpful, thank you
Removed them all but it's still too big. What can I do?

Metal watch bands: The pinnacle of fashion over function.
That was helpful!
Tyvm!
My buckle pin bar won’t go back in it’s so annoying
My grandpa left me a “Bulova” gold watch. I’m excited to wear it as soon as I fix it for my size
(Update) I broke the springy part for it to clasp and close. what would the specific name be called
Super helpful

By the time I buy all of those tools, I could have had a jeweler do it cheaper.
Thx , excellent.
Good vid but the screwdriver was still too big, I suggest using a jewelers screwdriver.
10$-20$ for a size change 😯 they do it for free in india
Oh cool!
You sure? They do charge unless you buy the watch from them.
@@johnsonpinto6163 yehh I am sure, no one ever charged me for resizing my watch even if I haven't bought any thing from them
Most in the UK charge :(
Sounds like Winston from ADV China.
Now I gotta buy the tools bruh 😂
Not much use if you need a toolkit to do it ..
I was just gonna throw it before I watch this video
My pins were split in half when I pulled them out lmao
Pity it doesn't cover my watch strap
Why is it aimed at Gentlemen? 2022! 😂
My pocket watch can only tick tock...it can't speak British :(
Wtf. I didn't get charged in my local watch shop lol
Bhai! Yeh sab thokne-malne ka maal masala dhoondne kahan jate hai log

bruh I will just buy a leather strap at this point
Legit just can't pull the fucking pin out...
Damn, British!😍
The British accent is fun but going forward ...... no. We'd miss your funny / sarcastic comments which would be hard to do with someone else's voice.
Too much professional Tools for a home Video
Well this was a complete waste of time because my bracelet does not have any pins on the side. There was nothing on this.
