I have the Micro 9 , never any problems. I have had it for about 3 years and maybe 500 rounds down range. Still enjoy it every time I take it out. I use the herters ball nose rounds.
I’m having a hard time deciding between a ruger lcp max, glock 43, sig sauer p365, Kahr cw380, or the kimber micro 9mm for my first handgun.
Shoot another 1500 out of it at the range to fully break it in. If I'm not mistaken, I've heard that a new gun takes a couple thousand rounds to fully break in
I agree 1 extra mag and a hard case to keep it in! I also love Kimbers.
Agreed!! That would make it worth the money paid for it!
Kimbers look pretty, it's a shame they aren't good for anything else. Mine was about as useful as a paperweight even after sending it back to Kimber to get fixed. I sold it and will never buy another Kimber.
What was wrong with it? What did you replace it with?
@AlejandroGarcia-ht4un It would not cycle. The slide would get stuck open after every round. It was sent back to the factory twice and continued to have the same issue. I eventually replaced in with a S&W CSX. Not a perfect weapon by any means but I've fired a good 500 rounds easily without a single malfunction.
Cool pistol but they shouldve included an extra mag. Obviously, thats one of the benefits of carrying an auto. U can typically reload faster thanks to the company not too cheap enough to send you one extra mag.
I completely agree, for the amount these little pistols cost they can surely afford to send one extra mag. That is one thing I do love about Glock you buy one of their pistols and they load you up on mags like they are trying to give them away lol

They sure are! I’m so used to shooting my Glock I can’t hardly hit a thing with the micro 9 😂 it’s more of a show piece in my collection, but then again I don’t think these guns were designed for longer distance at all

To me yeah the trigger was pretty heavy

There is a chamber issue on a good amount of the minis
I have heard about that, Ive heard the full size ones have some issues as well something to do with the rapide line up. I haven't had any issues with mine but I have heard of them being out there
My Kimber was a total POS. I even sent it back to them to get fixed. They did absolutely nothing to it. It wouldn't even chamber a round.
@@joshwagner8954 I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews especially with the Rapide models. Some are good and then some are just duds, it’s very sad with as nice looking and as expensive as they are. Kimber can definitely do better
Is there a Mini out there that doesn’t have a Chamber issue?? I’m looking to pick up a Micro 9 any suggestions please?

I do actually have one constructive thing about it…. I can’t hit anything with it 😂😂😂 I’m a horrible shot with it 😂 that might be me though not the gun

Nice pistol but only one lousy magazine.They can do better than that.
Ain’t that the truth! I think I went to price another for this gun and they were like 50 dollars! If I’m spending close to 900 dollars on a micro pistol they can at least include an extra mag 🙄
All that money and it's comes in a cardboard box 📦 and bag lol 😆
I have never understood that about kimber 😂 you pay so much money and the presentation is below average and they give you one magazine….. they are better than that!
It varies from model to model. I just bought 2 Kimbers. The Micro 9 STG came the same way as your Rapide but with an extra magazine, and the Custom LW came in a nice hard case but with one mag. Either way they should throw in more swag in my opinion.
@@glb5053 No doubt as much Money as they cost why not throw at least 3 mags in there or something a little extra
@@AustinArmory Exactly. They should take a page from Caniks book and include magwells, backstraps, cleaning kits, a holster, tool, etc... Or at least some of those things.
