I've had mine for a few months and have run around 300 rounds without a hiccup of any kind. Very important to clean it before your first shoot. Kimber tolerances are extremely tight. Not a Glock. Think you're gonna love it.
Yeah, learned those tolerances real quick. After a quick clean she runs flawlessly! Thanks for the tips!
Correction: I said that the micro 9 has both a steel frame and slide. That would be incorrect. The frame is aluminum and the slide is stainless steel!
Also a couple of specs I left out include:
Barrel length - 3.1inches
Weight - 15.6oz (Empty mag)
I just got a new Kimber yesterday not a 9mm. This is my second one loved the first one so much had to get another one a Arctic 45. Not a big guy but found I can still CC a full size 1911 with a little bit of playing around finding the right place on the body and clothing

If you dremel the back of the mag off it will greatly change your grip. I bought the model with rubber grips on the sides, not Rosewood and then i also have the STG model which comes with a Hogue grip on it. I use STG mags ($58 bucks each , yeah, it’s a Kimber) in both guns.
This will completely change your shooting experience with this gun. It will no longer feel SNAPPY !!!
Have one, wanna start carrying it, in the SOB. I appreciate any suggestions. I also ride motorcycles and want to carry while riding.

You should compare the micro 9 versus the P365
there is a 7 round kimber tac mag magazine were extension is a little smaller. there is also an 8 round mag the extension looks like the one with standard 7 round

One of my co-workers bought this gun. I've been trying to get her out to the range so I can shoot it.
You Dog, she turned you down cuz she thinks u want her. Be honest and tell her you just want to wrap your fingers around her grip and gently finger her trigger. Let her know you you have your own nuggets . . . bullet s, sorry, meant bullets !!! Tell her you’ll bring your own bullets, that way you can have full hot loads !!!

One of the worst gun owning experiences ever...4 mags none of them locked up..had to make spacers for each??? WTF??? Worse than that was the trigger on the gun..it was a hair trigger and would rapid fire several rounds in an unpredictable manner..dangerous to say the least..my gun was simply untrustworthy in my humble opinion and i sold it yesterday..I explained to the new owner what happened with it..he didn't care..I will never buy another Kimber..it's the only hangun I've purchased new that had problems..

Kimber cost way to much
They are a bit pricey. I still love my kimber!
