Hi guys! Just subscribed. Love your channel.
May I ask what brand drone are you using? Do u have any advice on picking a drone for our travel? Thank you in advance.
Partner and I have just returned from a 3 month c'van trip to FNQ and have done some of the places you have done (with a road van), and I'm with you Keelan, I don't think there are any fish in FNQ. I didn't even see anyone catch one, although a guy at Cape Palmerston said he caught a whiting- no evidence produced. Great trip all the same, especially Big Crystal Creek.
Sarah and Keelan thanks for the video 👍👍👍
Cheers legend
Ripper campsite thanks for the great video guys 👍👍🤠
Thanks shad for all the comments and support mate 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Don't worry no crocs, there, know area well, used to drove young weaners on the 1770 Rd , in the 70s, it was still a dirt sandy track in those days , only the die hard camper used to travel the Rd in them days , Had my photo taken by some tourists, I was riding a grey mare, Look mum a real cowboy, 😂😂😂, Nice trip , Cheers Bevan 🤠❤️🇦🇺
Hahah we googled they got a croc there in 2019 so wasnt sure haha 😂
Sounds like a ripper time!! Thanks Bevan!!
@@SarahandKeelanTravels , Yes crocs have been seen as far south as Maryborough area, but it's not a croc haven, not like Notch point , Rockhampton areas, I've swam fished, for many years , in area, but it's possible for crocs to be there, 🐊🐊
Good to know!! We have a high respect for them!!
100% Dr Harry confirmed sighting. QLD is just full of legends and great camping. Glad you guys are getting a taste for it 🤙🏼
Hahaha mate it had to be him!! I was 100% sure! 🤙🏽🍻
@@SarahandKeelanTravels
Wasn’t Dr Harry!
Just ordered a caravan lock for our caravan. Thanks for the discount legends! 🙌
Thanks legend! You won’t be disappointed! They are the best locks on the market by far
@@SarahandKeelanTravels not a bad price for the peace of mind and security you get. Also well done Sarah for driving through your first river crossing! Go girl!
Thanks legend 🤙🏽🍻
Thumbs up done guys, watching video now friend's
Thanks legend! Really appreciate it
Hi s and k. The crocs start around Maryborough and have been spotted in the inside of Fraser Island. I fish the Mary river at Maryborough and it’s full of Barra and the local farmer had a cow dragged in by a big big croc a few years back. So any where from there north is croc country. Travel safe and hope you catch a fish soon.
thanks mate!! We have a high respect for them!! normally always a bit more on the careful side! cheers mate! appreciate the comment
good work you two.
Thanks legend
Live mullet for Barra, single hook, 50lb mono leader.. Try bamaga wharf when you up there.. call into weipa too.
Thanks mate!! Cheers for the tips
I'm going to have to go back and watch your Gibb videos as we are going to do the Gibb in our new Gibb 16c when we get it. Hope you guys enjoyed Cape York as much as we did
James Cook did arrive in April 1770 but didn't settle! The first fleet arrived 18 years later 26th Jan 1788
Go Sarah good river crossing!
Yeww!! She did well!!
Ha. Loved it. You two are so refreshing. Great driving Sarah. What a magic camping spot that was. I lived in Qld back in the 1970's...there's many great places on the coast, especially when you get further up the cape. We worked in Weipa for a couple of years & loved the camping spots up there.
Thanks legend!! 100%, we are barely scratching the surface!! We didn’t get to see Weipa! Will be back soon though
Great spot
Epic!! 100% reccomend!
It's a whole other world up there....simply stunning!!!
For sure!! We are loving it!! Thanks for the comment 🤙🏽🍻🤙🏽
Fantastic guys!! Loved the vid. Queenslanders here, the weather you are copping is out of the ordinary for this time of the year. This is our dry season and is usually much warmer. Enjoy anyway, still beautiful!! 👍
Thanks Bev!! We have been told that a lot actually! Still beautiful none the less! Cheers for the comment
Love that you guys took this risk on a track that's "unsuitable for caravans" what an absolute treat.
I feel that big fish is just around the corner.....for Sarah....you've got the same luck as me with fishing Keelan 🤣🤣
Haha unsuitable is a vague term haha 😂
Surely mate we have been putting in the hard yards!! Sarah always will outfish me
You guys make me laugh… a little slap and tickle on the peddle 😂 Great driving Sarah, the river crossing are fun aren’t they!
Great little camp spots you found and good on you for getting into them!
hahah glad you liked it Ness!! She's a little pocket rocket!!
and "If it tickles ya pickle" bwahahahahah - .
Sick ep guys, love a water crossing and a bogging. Keeping it real. And that campspot was epic 😎
Thanks Sue!! 🤙🏽🍻❤️
Great Video 👍👍
Thanks Robbo!!
Great work getting the hybrid into a place where a normal sized van wouldn't fit !! I can't believe you don't have a winch as you are mostly traveling alone. Even a cheapie winch will get you out of trouble. Good one Sarah for your first water crossing. Keep the great vids coming-looking forwards to see catch a barra !!
Thanks mate!! The reason we don’t have a winch is because we will be over GVM. But we have a winch lined up for our new tow vehicle!! She did really well!! Mate I need to catch a Barra haha it’s hard yakka trying to find them!! Thanks Peter for the comment!! 🤙🏽🍻🤙🏽
@@SarahandKeelanTravels what is the new tow beastie gunna be ??
Going to have to wait and see haha 😂
Love you video, as normal keep sending us great natural content!
Thanks mate!! Glad your enjoying it!!
Great video guys! Your a master Keelan, that’s the tightest park we’ve ever seen. We’ve been living in Agnes Water for the last 12 months while we’ve been waiting for our van! No crocs while we’ve been here. We finally hit the road next week!
oh hey there legends! thanks guys! its bloody tight hey!! camera didn't do it justice! how exciting guys I bet your absolutely pumped!! you will absolutey love it!!
QUEENSLANDER. Glad you’re luving our brilliant state 🤣🤣. Great camping spot, will the new van fit in ??. Thnx for a good Ep, safe travels, cheers 🍻
Hahah we love it mate!! Narh it won’t fit haha 😂 doing all the right spots now 😂🍻
Great looking spots guys Good luck with the fishing
Thanks mate!! 🤙🏽🍻🤙🏽
Awesome episode!
Thanks legend
Great content and stunning locations as always, cheers for sharing👍👍👍Awesome reversing skills mate 👍👍👍
Keep the great stuff coming

Thanks Andy!! Been practising all around australia for that one time! Reversing and trying to film is hard haha 😂 cheers mate
Good onya guy's love what you do, Keep it up.
Thanks Ken!! Glad your enjoying it mate! Appreciate the comment!! 🍻🤙🏽
GO THE PRADO!
Agnes & 1770 - as close as you can get to Paradise Perfect I reckon!
How good!! For sure mate!! Just need a little wave out the front!! 🤙🏽🍻😂
We just left Agnes water today, stayed in our tanami x11 which with your help (how we found you guys) we have decided to do a lot of travelling in. It’s been great and we appreciate your time you put in. Cheers guys keep it up
Awesome Greame!!
Thanks for sharing a great camping spot, great job backing the caravan mate pity about the fishing, good driving Sarah on the river crossing cheers 🍻
Thanks David!! Appreciate the comment mate! Spewing about the fish ahaha.
She did well! The speed we dropped into it we were never getting stuck ahaha 🤣 she’s a pocket rocket! 🤙🏽🍻
@@SarahandKeelanTravels mate my wife and I love watching and listening to you 2 you are good people you keep us smiling and well done on doing want you love sorry I support you more but I will order a sticker from soon
Loved every minute 😉
Bit sis about Dr Harry though…. The poodles are the standout there 🤔
Good on you Sarah for having a go. Twist Keelans 👂for not giving you credit.
(RIP Percy….indeed 🤨)
Love that you can get into those special spots with the smaller van ✅
Thanks again for the entertainment 🙏🤙👏👏😉🤗🦆
Thanks Greg! Mate 100% him ahaha 😹
Sarah did well with that crossing!! Cheers mate!! Thanks for the comment!! 🤙🏽🍻🤙🏽
Loving the content guys!! Don't forget you actually have a set of Maxtrax on your roof! Come in very handy for those super soft conditions.
Thanks Chris! They are just for show mate 😂😂😂
Can highly recommend the Atherton tablelands after going to the tip
Thanks legend!!
Nice work getting the van in there. Glad to see you's in QLD!
Thanks mate! Got hairy!! Camera will never do it justice!! Thanks for having us! Loving QLD
Love the video look forward to it each week.
I think you should invest in a winch though and some hand-held 2 way radio's so Sarah can communicate while guiding you.
Thanks mate!! We have a winch lined up actually!! 100% agree We’ve got some two ways just forgot to use it!! Cheers mate
OMG you gave me anxiety getting bogged lol. Well done Sarah jumping behind the wheel and driving that water crossing for the first time. Look out for the crocs and stay safe
Hahah all good we got through!! She did really well!! Thanks legend
Awesome video as always
Thanx for the hard work.
Need some shoes to walk those water crossings.
Cheers
Johnny&Rene
Thanks legends!! Always appreciate your comment! Keeps us going! Hahah yeah should of thrown the crocs on 😂😂😂🤙🏽
in 2005 my wife and i were up near charters towers and went for a drive through the national park with our 16 foot van and on our return we saw the sign not suitable for trailors
Haha yeah was pretty suitable in our opinionn
Sick campsite guys, I would never leave
Hahaha it was hard to! Dosnt get much better
Sick drone piloting skills Keelan 👏
Cheers mate! No top gun but getting better 😂🤙🏽
Nice video 👍
Thanks mate
A big thumbs up 👍 I love ❤️ u two cute kids as crock bait
Thanks mate!! Glad you enjoyed it 😂🤙🏽
If you want a great water front campsite try barracrab at clairview, but get there before 1pm as it fills quick after that… and the unpowered section is sooo much nicer than the powered end of the park
There is also a mint free camp at stanage bay, but it is a bit off the highway, but well worth it
Thanks for the info!! Will for sure suss it out! Cheers mate
Another great video, really enjoyed watching it. Wouldn't mind a bit of footage of travelling in between locations. What brand are the mirrors on Percy. Travel safe and Enjoy.👍🏼🇦🇺
Thanks mate!! We will keep that in mind!! They are cheap ebay ones called Ocam mirrors. Thanks and you too
I love this video 😍 I thought for sure there was a fish coming out of those waters but nup! And I’m super happy there weren’t any crocs there to kick in the guts 😅 Your drone skills are so good Keelan x and Sarah the river crossing was great 👍
Thanks rach!! Haha sick of catching no fish!! Haha no crocs!! She did really well!!
Gladstone local been to eurimbula fair few times nice spot
Sandflies can be pretty bad in summer
Although there has been the odd reports of crocodile sightings down this way they pretty much start from Rockhampton north
Some clown shot a five metre plus one in the Fitzroy river in rocky a couple of years ago and they are around up here so be careful going swimming in the saltwater creeks
What a spot!! Thanks for the info! We are rookies when it comes to crocs! High respect for them though!! Cheers Jason
No Tailor that far up mate, they basically don't go past Fraser. Looking forward to your Cape vids :)
Spewing!! Was hoping they might just swim a bit further just for us hahaha 🤣
@@SarahandKeelanTravels some better fishing to come for you. Keep trying that Halco Twisty and maybe cut the pillies in two and use a single hook.
Live baits work best of course, poddy mullet and gar are great for where you're heading :)
Take care
Caught a couple fish up the cape!! Spewing didn’t do more of it though!! Thanks mate
unreal campsites Keelan, keep wetting a line at those spots, when you can put a 12000lb winch on the Prado cheap insurance when you are solo
ThNks mate!! We have a new 4wd and a 12,000 pound winch coming! Can’t wait to show you mate 🤙🏽🍻
@@SarahandKeelanTravels awesome Keelan, can't wait . Keep up the top vids
Thanks legend!! Appreciate your comments Rolly!! Keeps us going
My parents have lived Agnes water for 17 years, only one croc sighting, but How'd you go with the horse flys! Also fish the river further in, better chance of catching something
Yeah okay, very low chance then!! Bit of thermo cell repelant and we are good to go!! Thanks mate! Appreciate the tip Glenn
I have personally seen 2 crocodiles 5 metres off Eurimbula😳
Everyone keeps saying they don’t go that far south hhaha 😂 good to know Thankyou!!
No crocodiles and no deadly marine stingers….from their visitor information. Hmmmm🤔 I wonder who saw them in the past?
Yr campsite looked so relaxing.
Hahaha we have heard false stories on google 😂 was amazing! High respect for crocs!!
Glad you guys are enjoying QLD, love the videos👌🤟 do you mind if I ask what drone you use? Been thinking of purchasing one
Thanks and safe travels
We have a mini 2 and a mini 3! Mini 2 for the shots that might crash the drone and the mini 3 for everything else!!
crocs are a fairytale in 1770. But people still say the saw the Yowie at Kilcoy? everyone has a camera in their pocket these days, but we get less pics. no pics of crocs in 1770.
cheers for the info mate!! Yowie!> that sounds bloody scary hahah
Great reversing mate! Just a question? Are you just going to do the coast or are you going to see things inland as well ? Lots to see around here and we fish here and on the coast a lot.
ThNks mate!! Yeah we are actually!! Can’t wait!! We are going to try do everything! Many years on the road to come!
noice
Cheers mate
I reckon I spotted the new drone controller in this one! Does the 3 fly much different to the 2 mate?
The two was the one crashing in the trees hahah yeah it does the mini 3 is really smooth!!
What a killer spot, if a croc comes up to you just kick it in the bloody guts and it should just piss off. If not just disregard the last bit of advice.🏄♂️🏄♀️
Hahahaha kick it in the guts! That’s what I do to Percy every morning when I wanna go somewhere 😂🤙🏽
Who does the background piano/jazz music on the 1770 clip, great videos very natural no over the top hype
Hahaha not sure mate!! Glad your enjoying the videos 🤙🏽🍻
Noticed the big 150s headlights weren’t yellow - what globes have you guys upgraded to/colour?
We are running AUXBEAM led globes! Just cheap ones but Working well
Another super great and entertaining video. I have a question Keelan. What is the setting on your off road icheck TPMS. I just got one and on soft sand I go to 14 psi. Getting a Van in a couple of weeks so was just wondering what you run at? Thanks
Thanks legend!! We run the offroad setting low pressure alarm point on around 12 psi, sometimes when beach driving we go to 13 so good to be protected still
@@SarahandKeelanTravels Love you guys, so quick with the response, Thanks for the confirmation as I was thinking about the same. Do you keep the high for off road still at 25?
Try our best mate! You legends comment and take time out of your day, least we can do! I run 38 in the front of the car, 50 for the rear, then van I run 60 so I have the all round low pressure set point to around 30 psi then I’m covered!
Crocs think the same latitude as WA Broome vs Cairns etc
Cheers , I think they get the odd one coming down
Hahaha Reverso-Man Keelan 1770 style👍Bush bandit . LoL toss a pilchard Cast of many catch of none 😩😩 at least the Beers 🍻 were cold guys 🙌🙌 Go Sarah water driver cape here she comes 👍 Shit mate see all the Turkeys come out when ya got bogged hahaha Bush Turkey’s that is lol their all Sand Experts ! Hahaha I hope ya got Harry’s permission to post lol catch ya on the Telly line 😂😂🦗🦀🐶
Haha gla you liked it mate! Few drop bears and bush turkeys for sure haha thanks legend!! 🤙🏽🍻
Hey Q for you, does your pop top open using RV lifters , do you have a switch for that? Another good video. Travel safe and watch those croc 🐊 s
We have 4 air bags on each corner, they inflate via flicking a switch on and the roof pops up!! Hope this helps
@@SarahandKeelanTravels thanks for that. Cheers Judy
No worries Judy 🤙🏽🍻
@@SarahandKeelanTravels I live in my campervan full time and I’m 75, I’m considering a small caravan and most seem to have pop tops, which I find hard to push up, hence my Q so it would give me so much more room, love your videos and your travels. Thank you, I realise how much work goes into doing UA-cam as I did consider it but as a photographer I don’t want to stuff around with the amount of work that goes into it, it’s great having tow of you to do the sharing. Cheers Judy, crickey I’ve written a book, sorry.
Legends, would you take a 20 footer up there 😉
Hahahah no 20ft van will ever be at that spot hahah 🤙🏽🍻😂
Dit sume one elsh do the filming for you
Drone mate!!
New van coming, but what about a vehicle? A new Ranger V6 sounds good. The Y62 and 200's are expensive. Enjoying your vids as always. Thanks guys.
Exciting times mate! Picked our new tow rig up about a week ago!! Can’t wait to show you!!
@@SarahandKeelanTravels Whoah. Congratulations to both of you guys. Excited for you S & K.
