  • #offroad #overland #camping Flooded creeks and sandy tracks. High Clearance 4WD Camping at Eurimbula Creek Campground in the beautiful Eurimbula National Park. Close to the Great Barrier Reef and the towns of Seventeen-Seventy and Agnes Water on Queensland's Discovery Coast. A sandy 4 x 4 bush track through pristine wilderness with flooded creeks to a secluded bush camp on a historic bay. The landscape hasn't changed since Lieutenant James Cook first set eyes on it in May 1770. His 2nd landfall in Australia and his first in Queensland. I've added this to my bucket list of places to take the camper trailer and you will too..

Nice video. It was a 105 because it had the solid front axle 👍

Thanks Ben. So a 105 with a 1HZ diesel engine would be a really good buy! 😀

@@Challenger4WD yeah they are good because they use the same frame as the 80 series. The 1hz is slow but it can be a million+ km engine if maintained. The 105 body is bigger and more comfortable then the 80 but also uses slightly more fuel due to that fact. You would be looking at around 600-800km out of the main 95L tank depending on your driving style, weight etc without towing. Off road tho it will last longer as long as you keep the revs down, 2k rpm is the ideal revs for fuel maximisation.

Good info Ben, I’ll keep a 105 in the back of my mind if I get a chance to change vehicles. I only need to convince the minister for finance now! 😀👌

looks like a good spot, Neil. How far north are you going? There would be a far bit for you to cover up in FNQ no doubt. Bloomfield track amongst others.

Yes a very nice spot. Going further north isn’t possible atm due to commitments in Sydney but I’ve got a list on my phone of 4WD destinations which is getting longer daily! 😀 Bloomfield/ Daintree would be magic I agree. Not in the wet obviously but we’ll see what comes next. Thx for the comment. 👍🏻😀
