How install a gear up kit on your maui x-pro scooter qmb139 transmission

So in this video I finally installed the gear up kit for my Maui X pro scooter qmb139 transmission. I show you how to install it and in detail and I also show you how to check for your gear ratio as well and we also take it for a ride and try to get a top speed which topped out at 49 + miles an hour enjoy the video.

So, little late to the game on this one but something I learned while I was sitting on the side of the road trying to change a disintegrated belt is, if you squeeze the clutch open, the belt will pretty much fall down and seat in so that it's easier to get over the boss for the variator. Hopefully you don't have to go through that again, but I thought I'd pass it on. Great vid! thanks for all the helpful info!!

Thanks for the video !! I just did a rebuild in my gy6 first time first scooter ever did all the upgrades one can do for this motor but I deff want to the gear up after puting in the big bore . It’s exciting not sure what I am going to get in power never even ridden this thing !

hi i see your video , i have a gy6 upgrad to 80cc but i don't change gear box 15T 51T , if i but this gear box 17T 49 T i can goo more faster ? and thanks for share it this video

Would just replacing the final gear give you more top end speed?

I would have but the final gear was 12 slower than what I had so that's why I didn't get it I just got just that one Gear 2 up it so that's the reason why I didn't change the final gear because it was 12 slower I couldn't find a a bigger tooth in the one that I had a big momma's like a 52 tooth I think there was one of those I got 51
