I have the Ruger EC9. I use a pocket holster in scenarios where I can not carry IWB; the DeSantis pocket holster is THE best.
I miss my EC9. I traded it in on the LCP Max 380. I ended up buying a Canik TP9 SF compact, too so I had a few compact options but the EC9 was a very capable pistol, especially with the +1 magazine.
I love this little holster, mine is about 6 years old. What I like best is how many different pistols you can carry in it. Great video!!

DeSantis Nemesis holster works great. After 4 years of use it's still in good shape. I use it for the Ruger LCP.

I want the entire trigger guard covered, and something firmer than the included Ruger holster. Was considering the Nemesis but the trigger cut is a deal breaker for me, even though I never carry anything else in the same pocket.
Might get an Alabama pocket holster.
I like the DeSantis but I’m open to other brands.
I'd say it was definitely time for a new holster, that would make me nervous too.
I had to double check but I may still call DeSantis to suggest an LCP Max version with more trigger guard coverage.

For not much more, you can get their SuperFly pocket holster.
I've been useing one with my J-frame sized revolvers for about 10 years now.
Definitely a worthwhile upgrade from the nemesis.

The Ruger holster and those like it are fine for awhile but eventually they lose their shape. The Nemisis has worked better for me in this respect but it is considerably thicker. I suppose it depends on the person as to which is best for them. Either is faily inexpensive so they can be replaced when necessary.

Great video. I'd be a little scared my pocket would have some loose threading that has a loop on it that might get down in that trigger and pull it somehow, but then again it would probably never happen lol
I hear ya. I had my reservations initially but so far no issues. I am careful to be sure nothing else is in the holster.
FYI I had a nemesis lying around that’s for a CW9, fits the LCP max pretty damn good might be worth a try, it covers the trigger guard completely as well as mag release. Probably not quite as snug on the gun but seems like a non issue so far. Model is N38 MK.

I carry my lcp2 in one of these in my pocket. I typically wear cut off jeans with a muscle shirt in hot sticky steamy florida and it works for me. been using it since i bought the lcp2 when it came out. somewhere around 5 or 6 years now. my gun has never come out of my holster. but then if the gun was simply in my tight jean pocket by itself it would fall out either.

FYI Remora Holsters makes a great pocket holster as well and they cover the entire trigger guard.
I use them for my LCP Max and Max 9.

I have the Superfly for my lcp but don't use it anymore. Not enough retention. My gun fell out in a public restroom when I dropped trou and sat down. I then started taking it out and sitting it on the toilet tank before dropping off the Duke boys. I could see my dumbass walking off without my gun. So now I use a Hunter molded leather holster. Gun stays put even when my pants are down to my ankles.
