Because Call of Duty is pretty much just people shooting at each other (or at least that's what I think it is like from what I know about it), while in Super Mario 64 you can make impossible doors and contribute to moneybag overpopulation.
People remember all the old cod games though especially waw bo1 and bo2 Nazi Zombies was pretty unforgettable and the custom mapping on waw means that game is still regularly played today at least on pc
When Mario picks up something, the object is set to be hold, and disappears from the map (with the exception of bob-ombs that go in front of Mario). An equivalent model is then loaded into Mario's hands, and the rendering function updates the HOLP to the position of the object. If the hat in hand glitch is active, the HOLP won't update because the held object is not rendered (this can also be achieved with pause-buffered hitstun, but it's not humanly possible), which results in the object teleporting to the last position of the HOLP. Btw, the "backwards boost" you were talking about is actually an inflated bob-omb pushing Mario backwards, and it also happens when the hat-in-hand glitch is not active (that's how bomb clip, pillarless and carpetless work btw). Carpetless and pillarless also use the handsfree glitch (which can also be an alternate method to do the light chuckya glitch, which is the base of WDW cloning). You forgot to talk about PUs, hyperspeed glitches other than BLJing, pole warping, and the astral projection (when Mario's soul leaves his body, kind of) that happens when Mario picks up a chuckya that picked him up
btw do you think you can beat the game 0x? (this would imply the research of a way to get past the pole in BitFS without touching the A button, which would otherwise be necessary, and it would most likely be a bully battery, as it is one of our last hopes to beat SM64 0x, and the concept has been proven very promising). Using an upwarp glitch is very unlikely, as the seesaws in BitFS don't have traction, unlike TTC spinners.
Sans the Skeleton Not only am I afraid by the fact that your Username is the name of a character from a dead game, but your grammar is just... A work of art really. Mario* Odyssey* .* Along*
That thing about holding the bob-omb with the hat-in-hand glitch actually has a cool side effect: If mario throws something at, say, point A, does the glitch, and throws something at point B, the thing gets thrown at point A, even though mario is at point B.
3:21 In the Mario 64 DS remake, in Tall Tall Mountain they closed that spot with a cage wall, making it impossible to reach the star through any other way than the sliding part.
4:10 There is a reason, actually. Basically, by interrupting the lava boost, you keep all the upward momentum of said lava boost. When the platform moves out from under Mario, he enters a midair state and the momentum is used, thus causing the jump.
Y'now, sometimes after binge-watching most of call me Kevin's Jim Pickens videos for they entire day, you've just got to go back to the simplicity of a ceave gaming video.
Here we go.. Pannen viewer here. I’m here to explain some glitches for y’all. The First Glitch Is Because The Floor Is Literally So Thin You Can Clip Through. The Second Glitch Is The Hat In Hand Glitch And You Can Remotely Throw Something With The Cloning Glitch. TTM Skip. Nothing to explain. Slide kick lava immunity. Nothing else either. The Bobomb Thing. The hitbox is pushing Mario so that’s why. The lava boost thing is VSC (Vertical Speed Conservation) And It is used for the ABC challenges. You can also move with this awesome boost with punching. The Slope Walking Is Frame-Walking. Pannen Has A Video About That. The MIPS Skip is useless because BLJing On The stairs allows us to beat the game with 0 stars. BLJ: Oh boy. A programmer forgot to give a negative speed cap so you can clip through walls. You can also do this on elevators and you can make EVEN MORE speed with pause buffering which allows you to grant immunity from damage blinking. Enough for this. Moneybag Glitch. This is able to make the HUD disappear. Chuckya Thing. Watch Pannen’s video about it. The Clipping Is Because The Floor Is Thin Enough To Clip Through And The Walls Push Mario Out And Because The Wall Hitboxes Push Him Out. TTM Skip. The water sends Mario up to the highest point of the water up. The Chuckya Stutter Glitch Is Cloning But With Anything. Edited By Chillboard. Typed By Chillboard. And Goodbye.
The slide kick is useful for when you're dashing at enemies I guess? You don't have to stop to punch or jump on them. It's also potentially the fastest movement option, given enough space.
4:09 this is called vertical speed conservation, when mario moves up or down, his vertical speed changes, normally landing on the ground resets it to 0, but in this case, landing on the platform after the lava boost did not reset it to 0, so some vertical speed is leftover, when the platform moves away, the leftover vertical speed is then used, so mario leaps up suddenly
@@2chill2bbored72 if you say that, I dont think you are dutch lol. its written pannekoek, but as most people are stupid they say pannenkoek. its kind of a meme in the netherlands
When you use hat-in-hand glitch, the Bob-Omb appears at HOLP (help object's last position). When you grab an object and release it, it appears at HOLP, not in front of Mario's hands. HOLP is a one variable to a game - it will stay the same (if you won't grab an object) even if you switch files. So, finally, if you will place a Bob-Omb near you, then, pick it up nearby again with hat in hand, it will appear at the HOLP, at the time, near you. So, yeah, thanks Panenkoek2012.
I also found a glitch: In the basement, do a dive while facing to Lethal Lava Land and Mips, the rabbid! You then have stopped Mips without running more than 3 meters
1:29 gave me a backrooms-ish creepypasta idea where you clip thought a doors loading zone IRL and are permanently stuck on the opposite side of its loading zone.
Actually, the slide kick has one bonus: it is objectively the fastest movement option in the game given a large enough space (50ish units for a long jump vs max 90ish for a slide kick) It does take forever to reach though, which sucks.
even today I get blown away that the endless staircase is able to be glitched. I can remember playing it as a kid and running up there for like 5 minutes straight. at the time I thought it was the coolest thing in a video game ever.
8:53 The game crashed into a moneybag because there were too many of them and all of the object slots were filled, so it had nowhere to put it so it crashed into it.
When you hold the cap in the hand, then grap a bob-omb then go backwards, it means you almost made a fake object, but instead got an almost-exploded bob-omb.
You can do the same "Chuckya Glitch" in Dire Dire Docks, but with the water shell. Pressing B within a two-frame window of reaching the surface places the shell in your hand, so you can swim with it indefinitely. Next, you need to swim back through the tunnel to the first area, but only part-way, and the same effect should happen. This version is better, in my opinion, because you can come up for air and clone for way longer than you would in Wet-Dry World. You can even clone the poles here, so just experiment and see what you can find!!
When you grab an object, the object isn't actually in your hands, it's invisible and not in its normal state. The object is in a state known as being "in limbo". When Mario picks up an object by punching (as opposed to diving or water grabbing), there is a two-frame window of time in which the object is not placed into limbo, yet Mario has committed to picking up the object. At the end of this window, Mario will hold the object slot that this object is in, even if the original object has since unloaded.
