Helpful installation video. For easy window realignment after the window was removed I would recommend to also add, in addition to its vertical alignment, a horizontal piece of tape to have a hight (horizontal) reference.
Hey I was just about to purchase this for my model y and I wanted to hear your impressions? Do the auto pop out function work properly when you approach the car. I understand the install won’t be easy but I just want to know before I do all the work if it is worth it.
I installed all 4 handles but the driver side not pop up while the other 3 did pop out, is it a problem?...thx
my tesla y after install only 1 front right handle (passenger side) it cannot open from outside, I have to open from inside to open door even it open from display or app, does it need to install all 4 to be able to open from outside? Note that option "Driver door unlock mode" is not checked. Please help!
Remove that t piece between the handle and the plug for the handle

Question about the description… multi-type control mode #6… which is referred to app? Cannot find it in the Tesla app.
The phone only needs to connect the handle Bluetooth for the first time, and the handle will automatically open within 10M radius of the car
when the phone is turned on.
@@Hawknavi-Tesla while my phone is not paired via bluetooth with the handle control box the handles will not auto present (via the Tesla app / cars bluetooth key) even when standing next to the car and not sleeping. Why?
@@FlevopolderAviator in normally, when you swipe card/remote unlock or press P twice, the handle will automatically opens, if your handle couldn't work by this way, you can ask your seller and let them help you update software.
@Hawknavi-Tesla you are the reseller… bought it in the HawkNavi store on Ali-Express. Yes, the handles do present when I swipe the card /remote unlock via the Tesla app or press P twice. But the handles will not present when the car unlocks when I approach the car with just the Tesla connected via bluetooth with my car. When an software update is available please provide it to me. Thanks.
@@FlevopolderAviator i hope you resolve your issue but turn off the controller module and turn it back on and then go on your blutooth settings on your phone and connect it to the module . its called tsla shion or something and password is 888888
I bought these and installed them, but the door handle doesn’t actually unlock the door. The RGB works and I can change the color, but am locked out of the door. Any ideas?
Did you swap over the HAL sensor and reconnect it? For some USA build cars (witch have different type of HAL sensor then the China build ones) you need to add the supplied washer.
@@FlevopolderAviator yes I installed the metal plate between the sensor and the door handle as shown in the video and reconnected the cables
