Of course. If you drive into a shop with that installed they’ll note it down in your profile. And then if anything ever goes wrong with the doors in the future they’ll deny all warranty because of this.
Most people are not aware you can do many mods to a new vehicle without affecting your warranty. They have burden of proof the mod actually affected Tesla. Changing rims ect does not void warranty, even changing suspension does not void warranty. Tesla may not want to service what is modded on some parts bc it is not their product as an example. The window motor of this specific mod for the door handle is the problem which if it does fail, Tesla will not touch it if found to be the cause of failed door handle. But if the motor of the door handle is not the cause, Tesla by law has to fix it.
@@depthcharge6215 they don’t have the burden of proof. They can just say it’s the reason and then deny the warranty. Then the burden is on you to prove them wrong. You’ve obviously never had to deal with shady subpar Tesla service before.
The pointless redesign of a product that has had billions of uses without a single malfunction. Being different requires good reasons. The ability to do something is never one of them.
I like what I saw product is legit
Does it impact warranty?

@@icephoenix3565 read the car manual. They already had court cases. The people won and that is why people mod their cars.
