Dimebag Darrell when he was a teenager used to compete in guitar contests in Texas, but they asked him to not compete anymore because he kept winning every year
There’s a video of him doing a guitar clinic in the early 1990’s that’s a must watch. It’s nonstop comedy and him trolling other guitarists like Steve Vai 😂
Everybody needs more Pantera in their lives, they just don't know it. If you're a fan of MUSIC then stuff like this has it's place in your life, even if only for 5 min. Lets Go! Great reaction
If this is your first Pantera reaction...then you have a good bit of journey left ahead of you. Try: *Cowboys From Hell _ Walk _ I'm Broken _ This Love _ Cemetery Gates _ Drag The Waters _ Goddamn Electric _ Psycho Holiday _ Becoming _ Revolution is My Name _ Domination _ Where You Come From _ Primal Concrete Sledge _ and then just keep going.*
I remember when I was 13 years old and being at school listening to this song on a discman over and over again. Pantera became my favorite band and still is after almost 25 years since I discovered it. RIP Dimebag and Vinnie
I played bass for a thrash/groove metal band in Texas about 23 years ago and we played a lot of Pantera covers. This song was one of my favorite songs to play. :)
Pantera were the rawest band of the 90's. You gotta appreciate that there was no Slipknot, there was no Korn, there was no Disturbed etc.......there was only Pantera, no competition, and they FN RULE
⏯️My husband is a bass player 🤘🏼 Pantera is one of our shared favorites. As a bass player Domination is one of his favorites (I recommend the live Moscow performance). This was my first time finding you. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos 🧡😉
13 Steps to Nowhere is one of my favorite Pantera songs, and seeing how you reacted to this one I think you'll love it too. Would absolutely love to see a reaction to that one sometime too!
Pantera is known for one of greatest bands of all time for metal music. For me and for most people that play guitar, Dime (The guitarist) is the best of all time, and for some he isnt, but he 100% changed the way you play. He was so unique, technique, sound, vibrato, legato EVERYTHING man. He came to rock and rocked like no other. You should do more Pantera like The Sleep, Hollow, Floods, This love, Walk, Domination (live in Moscow)... There you can really feal the lyrics and GUITAR aswell. Great reaction btw keep on reacting.
Just as old as any 80's band..... Just went under the radar with the "New Metal"... But put a real beat into the life of real time rockers..... They love the old school music, 70's onwards... 333 CFH Love you all
Oh Millie, Millie Millie Millie, I am SO excited for you with this Pantera journey! I would love to see you react to Cemetery Gates (official music video). You get a completely different view of the vocal range, as well as an absolutely stunning guitar solo by Dimebag Darrell.
This song is about a kid who got injured at a Pantera concert and the father said "I wish I had 5 minutes alone with him" ....... Pretty sure that would not have gone well for that guy LOL
Because you’re so into the camera on the guitar strings in the video, check out the end of the guitar solo, at 5:40 in this video, Dime engages the Floyd Rose Tremolo and the top 2 strings go NOPE!
ua-cam.com/video/mqOIF74ERf0/v-deo.html Pantera, live at the Philadelphia Spectrum, August 20, 1994. 30 years ago in a few weeks. I was at the show, I was 15. I consider it my conversion to the TRUE FAITH. That showed changed my life, no joke. I got to see Pantera live 9 times.
⏯️ The Husband would tell you 5 strings aren't necessary for anything- (but he's old and he also installs a hipshot on all of his basses 😂) I don't think Rex ever used a 5- though, someone correct me if that's wrong. I'm not as familiar with his more recent work.
Hello. Lovley reaction as always! ❤️👍👍 I got an idea of what you should do if you feel like it! And that is to react to all Sabaton's songs in all the albums they have! What I mean is to go all in with Sabaton, Even if it will take time as you react to other music too!😊 But it makes absolutely nothing if it will take time if you decide to do this journey! I am sure you would have loved it and not regretted it! 😉 I want to recommend songs to you!😎 You can skip the ones you have already reacted to if you want! Don't go 5 string! Try one... but I would warn you, they have thicker necks. way heavier. and so the headstock always wants to dip to the floor. You have to hold it up the entire time with your left hand!
Keep it up! Pantera on!! Little background to this song. Phil had a lawsuit filed against him for supposedly jumping off stage while performing live which claimed he had beaten up this guy that was in the crowd. Which was not true. The guys father got involved and said " I dont care about no lawsuit, I just want that Phil Anselmo 5 minutes alone." Phils manager later answered the guys father back saying "no, you wouldnt". Basically implying you dont want Phil 5 minutes alone. Phil growing up took boxing lessons and actually did a few boxing matches. Meaning Phil would've most likely rocked his shit goodnight. and so this song came to be!
GREAT review! Others have mentioned this already, but I also suggest that your next Pantera reaction be “I’m Broken”. 🤘🏻 Pantera “I’m Broken” Far Beyond Driven (1994) ua-cam.com/video/2-V8kYT1pvE/v-deo.htmlsi=jMHns8FQjsixoA3L
Dimebag Darrell when he was a teenager used to compete in guitar contests in Texas, but they asked him to not compete anymore because he kept winning every year
They made him a judge instead🤣
Amazing!
In fact, they made him a judge. at 16!!! hahaha
bro really got so op that they had to make him a judge 😂😂😂
There’s a video of him doing a guitar clinic in the early 1990’s that’s a must watch. It’s nonstop comedy and him trolling other guitarists like Steve Vai 😂
EVERYONE, needs more Pantera in their life. 🤘
YES! PLEASE!
Definitely 👏
Imagine the joy of hearing Pantera for the first time again. Jealous
No mention of Rex's INSANE bass during that solo? It's thick. Maybe try Yesterday Dont Mean Shit live at Ozzfest for MORE BASS!
Don't even worry about it. These new guys don't know yet. But us, we know all about Rex. They'll learn
She's a fraud. Apparently a bass player and didn't clock Rex. She belongs on Arsenal TV with this shite
Everybody needs more Pantera in their lives, they just don't know it. If you're a fan of MUSIC then stuff like this has it's place in your life, even if only for 5 min. Lets Go! Great reaction
I'm a late Pantera fan, but, anyway, here i am. That's so true, bud!
If this is your first Pantera reaction...then you have a good bit of journey left ahead of you. @@lalomillar6335 Yep, yep...don't know how I forgot to add that one.
And Shedding Skin
Just play each album from beginning to end. No need to pick and choose a song. PanterA was perfect with each album.
She reacted to Domination live in Moscow on her old channel. Walk as well. She a veteran
But man! Rex holding down that bass line during the solo!
I remember when I was 13 years old and being at school listening to this song on a discman over and over again. Pantera became my favorite band and still is after almost 25 years since I discovered it.
RIP Dimebag and Vinnie
"Like metal" in it's pure form. That was their genius. They were completely tight with complex rhythms and melodies.
I played bass for a thrash/groove metal band in Texas about 23 years ago and we played a lot of Pantera covers. This song was one of my favorite songs to play. :)
90's Pantera pits were ruthless. I saw them four times, and came out bruised and once bloody. Genuinely the best shows I ever went to.
Fuckin'a remember that shit! I'm an old timer but still miss it
Yes! After one show in 93, my friend had a footprint bruise on his back 😅

5 minutes alone is my favorite Pantera song of all time and Pantera is one of my favorite bands, so...... 🤘🏻
Pantera were the rawest band of the 90's. You gotta appreciate that there was no Slipknot, there was no Korn, there was no Disturbed etc.......there was only Pantera, no competition, and they FN RULE
I think Korn came on early 90's, and then the other two on late 90's. But yeah, Pantera was on a league on it's on.
These bands you mentioned wouldn’t be the same without Pantera. They were all influenced by them.
I wish I could hear this song for the first time again. This song is so fucking awesome.
⏯️My husband is a bass player 🤘🏼 Pantera is one of our shared favorites. As a bass player Domination is one of his favorites (I recommend the live Moscow performance). This was my first time finding you. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos 🧡😉
That drums during the solo......... And then starts the solo :) :)
I'm Broken by Pantera
5 minutes alone has one of my most favorite bass lines ever
13 Steps to Nowhere is one of my favorite Pantera songs, and seeing how you reacted to this one I think you'll love it too. Would absolutely love to see a reaction to that one sometime too!

Anything Pantera, you can't go wrong Milllie.
she loved them so much she never again did another pantera song
Oh Millie, Millie Millie Millie, I am SO excited for you with this Pantera journey! I would love to see you react to Cemetery Gates (official music video). You get a completely different view of the vocal range, as well as an absolutely stunning guitar solo by Dimebag Darrell.
Everybody needs more Pantera in thier lives!
This December will be 20 years since dimebag was murdered! My favorite guitarist wish we still had him!
"You waged a war of nerves! But you can't crush the kingdom.. Can't be what your idols are..."
Pantera is from my neck of the woods. Saw these guys play before they were even signed. Enjoy your trip down the rabbit hole.
This isn't from Vulgar display of power but that is one albums which doesn't have bad song. Everybody needs bit Pantera in their life.
This song is about a kid who got injured at a Pantera concert and the father said "I wish I had 5 minutes alone with him" ....... Pretty sure that would not have gone well for that guy LOL

"I'm Broken" , you will find it delightful :). Also, the very last breakdown happens almost exactly at...5 minutes.
Great reaction Millie. They are soooo HEAVY. You should check out Domination live at Moscow. Awesome!
Hey, that growl was pretty good!
Rip dime and vinnie both legends glad they found phil when they did the whole band are super talented an epic drum intro is 13 steps to nowhere
I love the way you say Pantera with that sexy spanish accent! lol
I almost crashed my father's car listening to this song
There's a lot to unpack on this one, but next time really listen to Rex's bass line during the solo. Freaking ridiculous and perfect.
You should check out 'Revolution Is My Name' from Pantera's final album, Reinventing The Steel.
Love this reaction
