Ok.
you know hes a true real chef when he cant use a microwave without help. this man cooks!
bro he is iron chef
He made chicken a La king dude
@@lohmunilmoelet's be real, not everyone grew up watching Iron Chef, even if they should have!
wrr
the way he immediately deconstructs the nuggets 😭
Amazing actually
@@danielrae861 shut up meg
😂🤣
Think of it as an autopsy of a happy meal
What do you mean by that?
"I'm sure they laugh at me, but idgas" words to live by, chef, words to live by.
CHICKEN MC-WHAT?!?
Chicken mcniggas you heard em 😂
Minnickits, duh! You've never had them?!
Manikkas
meneggits
Chicken my niggehs 😂😂🤙🤘
What’s funny is your dad is 100% correct. Most people use machines for pasta. However. With gnocchi, I’ve found you save no time with machines, and sacrifice quality. I would have, and always will, roll them off a fork just like him!
Exactly my gma makes her dumplings by hand
I subscribed to your dad's channel before he even has a video out!! I love you guys, and can't wait to see what he does with his channel. I moved away to Newfoundland and seeing T.O gives me all the feels.
Nooo way
wrrr
I love videos like this that are filmed in home kitchens, cause it really makes you realize just how much lighting affects the appearance of food
You gotta get your dad to do more of these videos. I absolutely love them. I used to watch iron chef allllll the time and loved when your old man was cooking. So cool to see him doing these vids.
9:34 "I want to hear the pro's and the pro's." 😂😂😂 bless this man.
Final dish “chicken mc nigget” 😂
Recently discovered this channel. Been watching several videos and brings tears to my eyes because of the relationship you and your dad have. Makes me miss mine so much. RIP dad
Same here bro mine dads been gone 16 years on the 18th of this month and I miss him like crazy I wish he was around now in my 30s we would totally be grilling and cooking everyday especially with the World Series going on old man loved baseball and also making a mess driving my mom crazy
Your dad is in hell.
My condolences. I miss mine too
“Something very old, but something very new for you”
Listen to pops, he’s got it.
That line was awesome. You can tell he loves sharing this stuff with his son
I like your dad's energy, unlike most other Asian chef dads, he's definitely more on the laid-back type (in terms of his way of talking and the laughter stuff), a breath of fresh air haha
I love how you give such props to your dad man, such an awesome relationship, Im a dad and I struggle sometimes, seeing you two is great not just the food.
the love respect and passion that susur has for food & family is one-off and absolutely heart melting. n____n
i bet no one expected chef mike to be in the pantry
Chef Mike goes where he is needed most
“Well, son…”
“Yes, son.”
“No, son.”
That, alone, shows me what a loving person he is and I respect and admire his passion for food.❤️
This turning food to gourmet series is so fire!! I’m so hype to watch your dads channel
My dad used to make spaghetti carbonara when I was a kid and it was my favorite. Now I make it for my kids and it's their favorite. We live in the rural midwest and I've never even met another person who's ever even had it. Passing down recipes is a pretty special thing.
Chef said “chicken my niggits”
Having a Iron Chef for a Dad cooking a scrumptious meal every time is a awesome treat and above all very rich knowledge hands on training good job Father and son and Happy Father's Day come this Sunday. 🍻
I love how wholesome these videos are! Glad you got your pops to start his UA-cam channel too! Hope all turns out well!
We all of the relationship with you and your dad and your family so wholesome and heartwarming, it fills a void within me. When my mother figured out that I could cook better than her she didn’t want me around anymore at all and would never let me cook for her and if she did she would try to sabotage it so she could feel like she was still the best ha ha ha that was the beginning to the end of our relationship which is really sad because they love food.
Hey dawg me too😢 The fact you recognize it is the first step and stopping that pattern. I'm not accusing you of being that way but most people develop all these bad habits from learned behavior
Sometimes parents don't change their behavior until their kids are actually adults then you'll get a irony where the grandparents change faster than the parents
Either way good luck in life your comment really resonated with me . God bless
Delicious, he never disappoints. I haven’t seen a turned mushroom since I was in culinary school…over 20 years ago. 👍
wrrg
he is turning mushrooms so you know he has classic training. i enjoy watching his technique and his off-kilter approach to food. really great technique here and a good sense of humor. love it
Loving the classic French / Italian cooking here. Great to see old classic techniques still being used.
“I wanna hear the pros & the pros” 😂
Chef Susur Lee has more talent in his pinky fingernail than i have in my whole body 😂😂😂. I love to cook but i am nowhere even remotely close to his level. Much respect.
That potato in the microwave trick is going to be something I use for the rest of my life. Your dad is a freaking genius
thats a trick I do as well. I usually do 5 min. 10 must be because he has 2 potatoes. also if you notice on microwaves they have a potatoes option as well.
I have cooked mine like this since I was a kid lol
This chanel hit my recomended for you like a week ago. I love it! They are both just absolute treasures. So down to earth and real.
Been watching this channel for a while now & just subscribed to your dad's channel. Love that technique on the mushroom!
Yay! So happy there’s a channel dedicated to the cooking videos. Can’t wait to watch 😀
He kept as much as that Mc Garbage out of his creation. Fun to see the challenge. A real chef always has tons of ingredients in the refrigerator apparently. I love this chef’s personality. I’m Italian and we have several cousins with 5 star restaurants. I’m amazed at the knowledge they know about food .
Your Dad is just simply the definition of a G
Your dad is so wholesome, I love watching him! ☺️
These videos are getting better and better. Thanks for letting us know that the food episodes are on your dad's channel
I LOVE this series! And can we just take a sec to appreciate Susur's flowing locks in the bottom left corner? So happy to hear your dad has a channel now too. ^^
My favourite Iron Chef!! Thank you for sharing your amazing Father-Son relationship with the world. 💖
i love y’all’s banter
These are the best Jet. Good stuff
Just discovered this channel and I just subscribed to your dad's channel as well. This is so comforting. Especially since it's about to be winter well if cause I live in the deep south of Texas makes it more comfy. Yall kick ass
I love your channel!!! Saw your dad on Tiktok the first time and now this! You are a lucky kid to have a parent like him! Keep bringing it! With much love from S Florida! 😊
Need that Spaghetti-O’s w Meatballs turned gourmet
Good luck to your dad's channel! He's cool as hell
Your dad completely changed the nuggets to gourmet indeed! Lol! That was awesome. I also do cooking videos with my dad and my favourite part is always the taste test! I can totally relate to the vibes! Awesome stuff!
I really wanna see him turn lunchables gourmet lol
its amazing how easy he makes it look what a talent and skill. he seems to ahve such a great relationship with his son. i really enjoying both channels
As your dad peeled off the shrooms i got nostalgic since i know that my dad was doing that as i was a kid but was never able to replicate that (how he holds the knife)
It would be REALLY awesome if he could make a tutorial about that technique!
Woo hoo! So excited for the new channel!
Subbed to the Master's channel! Awesome stuff, keep it up guys! Y'all rock!
"Stir, stir, stir"
"Strain, strain, strain"
I love this channel. Now make me a T-shirt with these quotes please!
LOVE YOU GUYS 🙏🏽🙏🏽
I love to see your dad makes Gnocchi the same way with a fork like my mother taught me. Still do it by hand now
What an absolute G
The best thing about IronChefDad is that he always up for new ideas.. Always willing to learn and that's very important just amazing really ❤
Love this and it made me hungry! Also what brand of glasses is your dad wearing? He’s so hip!
Haha love the goal of 20,000 subs - I just checked in, he’s approaching 1M
I swear Jet makes some of the best content
I just subscribed and hit the notification button on his channel! I can't wait for his content to drop!
Man Love your Content. So Wholesome watching you n your Dad just cooking n having good Times. Imma Also Subscribe to your Pop’s Channel.
I love to watch your dad cook. He’s funny.
Finally, Chef Lee has a YT channel, instant subscribe!
So humble. Even with this fast food simple item he says that it will be a learning experience.

JET CLOSET TOUR
iykyk
dude I love this guy!!
Love this guy. I could spend every day with this dude.
this is so my dad with his experiments. He makes alot of stuff that are funky and wants to ALWAYS rate it higher than it actually is.. Me and my mom are like lets stick with the fan favorites and he constantly goes off menu
Legit, you have such a cool knowledgeable father! Mad props, such a fine craft that man has developed!
He should make a cookbook about this kind of stuff.
In my 28 years of working as a chef i never used a machine for gnocchi!!!i used a fork or when i had more than a few portions i used a gnocchi board which is made from wood and you can roll 3 at a time!!
Truly hilarious! Thanks for the laughs! Also thanks for the great cooking tips - proud of my Canadian brother
Your dad is so inspiring!!!
On sick leave binge watching this channel. Best choice I made. Couldnt be happier.
Anyone else want to see a series where he tries to recreate fast food from scratch?
I’m definitely subscribing to your dads channel :)
Love your videos!
What chillhop station is your music from? There's probably a million different ones so i like to Follow a bunch of them.
Maybe have him do more Italian fastfood chains sence he loves italian food? Not sure how many are in Toronto but that'd be 😎
Subscribed to your Dad’s channel. If y’all want more challenge ideas, there are loads of competition shows tossing random ingredients at the contestants. The Food channel has several. Occasionally, the judges take on the contestants challenges, themselves, which is always interesting…
"chicken mahnickets" took me out lol he's so much fun to watch
You know its a good day when u see susur in the thumbnail
You look like you need some sleep bro hope you’re doing good stay strong hustle hard 💪🏽🙏🏽
Lol I'm going thru Danny Kim's ig and I'm thinking to myself when will we get another chef's video..... And boom! Noti gang!
"You call me a stone age son but you know what i am using microwave" had me dying on the floor
Loving it !!
Yay! About time! No need to check this channel any more
Oooooo cant wait to see wat ur pops does for his first video !
I would love to cook with your dad, so much knowledge and honest good guy, listen to your father, mine is gone and I still listen to my elders...!
Just found your channel and about your dad. Your dad is seriously cool, he should have his own channel on TV
Best video yet... that mushroom technique, bro! wonder if mcdonald's fries would've worked for the gnocchi?
Glad to hear your dad finally got his own UA-cam channel. Hopefully it’s the first step to his own Food Network cooking show or CNN Travel and cooking show. Get his agent working on this :)
A-mazing! Also I did the turned mushrooms in culinary school. It’s a fun knife skill to practice.
That fork + gnocci roll just blew my mind
9:08 Ayoooo, back atchu cuh
Another awesome video!!!
My mom used to make something very similar to this gnocchi. But she used a sifter spoon (which is like a regular table spoon, only with bunch of holes) to roll them. We called them "little hedgehogs".
bruh ain’t no way Susur put them potatoes in the microwave wrapped in plastic 🤣🤣🤣
“I want to hear the Pros and the Pros”. Lol LEGEND
Instasub bruh. Keep doing it bro killin it
Dad is so chill🤩😍
I've never heard of sautéed grapes. Learn so much from these videos.
