I think the best part of this series is the fact that your Dad is such a culinary purist, and yet you only give him fully cooked, super processed fast food to then cook again and make better. Rarely does any cook/show use only cooked items, and at first I wondered, but now I get that it is your Dad’s most interesting challenge.

Umm, pretty sure you can do the Travis Scott meal, just customize it. Here’s how you order it in Canada:
Quarterpounder with cheese, add bacon and lettuce
Medium fries, ask for BBQ sauce
    Medium Sprite
    Next episode please

I just stumbled on this No longer living in Toronto but back when i first moved to Toronto ( from the East coast) it was the early days of Susur , Jaimie Kennedy and Michael Stadlander . Your Dad was my favorite and I have fond memories of one of his early solo ventures ( it was on Tecumseh) . Also I recall running into your Dad when he had you and your brother in tow at the airport . I have lived in a few Asian countries and I have many dining experiences but I am not pandering when I say that most enjoyable meal I ever recall was the first time I ate at the Tecumseh location. I think a good idea for a video would be of your Dad ( and also your mother) talking about the Eighties in Toronto and the food & design scene . I include your mother because I recall she and her then business part did great work. Yes it may have limited audience but someone should get it done .
