His dad took a whole king crab on Iron Chef and left the other chef with nothing. But what the other chef didn’t know what that Chef Lee was preparing the crab for him and his competitor. He split the crab and gave some to his competition. He truly has a heart of gold. 💛

you do understand 90% of ppl work in fast food or food industry at some time in their life. and yet all those mcdonald workers still eat it. lol. i wont eat at some places tho as a actual chef who has worked as a fast food cook a line cook and ever type of cooking job in between. never eat applebees chilis places like that vs fast food id trust kids over some asshole 40 yr old stuck at applebees. sad but tru in my experience

I can honestly say he's 100 percent correct about how people have perceived tastes and fake tastes with fast food and its really shocking, also im pretty sure he could flip scallops and fish with his bare hands in a hot pan after doing it for so long lol.

I think the best part of this series is the fact that your Dad is such a culinary purist, and yet you only give him fully cooked, super processed fast food to then cook again and make better. I just stumbled on this No longer living in Toronto but back when i first moved to Toronto ( from the East coast) it was the early days of Susur , Jaimie Kennedy and Michael Stadlander . Your Dad was my favorite and I have fond memories of one of his early solo ventures ( it was on Tecumseh) . Also I recall running into your Dad when he had you and your brother in tow at the airport . I have lived in a few Asian countries and I have many dining experiences but I am not pandering when I say that most enjoyable meal I ever recall was the first time I ate at the Tecumseh location. I think a good idea for a video would be of your Dad ( and also your mother) talking about the Eighties in Toronto and the food & design scene . I include your mother because I recall she and her then business part did great work. Yes it may have limited audience but someone should get it done .
