So the HK sound system all modern BMWs are really just ok.. not bad, but not great. @bimmer-tech makes the perfect plug and play solution to bring your audio up to the masterpiece that is the rest of the G80 M3!
The installation is really easy and can be done with a simple tools.

Great video! I don't think Bimmer Tech has those subs anymore, though? Can only find regular speakers and their amp on their site.
So I am sure they will have them if not already.. new stock is coming in all the time, and these amps are GREAT!
Hey man! great content, just wondering if you would recommend bimmer tech speakers more or the alpha one speaker set ! I’m looking to upgrade my Harmon kardon audio in my 2020 M340i
Absolutely YES on the Bimmertech A1s and will have a DIY out for the G80 very soon. The owner is a musician and very picky, and loves the A1s like I do. Give me a shout directly in the PacNW and want the speaker set.
I am waiting for my allocation so won’t be getting a g80 for like 6 months from now but what all changes do you recommend. Anything easy for the 2023 g80 to upgrade the speaker? Like just an amp?
Of course I recommend the subs here. As a hint though, I will have the alpha one speaker install for the g80 up soon! Bimmertech doesn't have the Amp yet, but will soon. The HK speakers are only good... the alpha ones are fantastic
Hey there. I have a 2015 4 series with the Harmon Kardon surround sound. The small speakers (think they’re called tweeters) in the back are starting to crackle. Does this brand bimmertech make those speakers? Do you have a DIY video for that? I know you used to have a 4 series. If not, any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
They absolutely DO! Just hit the bimmertech page, and under audio you can enter your VIN. They will show you the full build out available for your car. The Alpha One speakers are VERY good, installed into my own F32 (I have a video here), my F87, and a dozen other cars. Worth every penny.

I have a 2020 M2c and was wondering if you need the additional amp or is it just plug and play? I also have the Musicar subwoofer in the trunk but would like to upgrade my woofers under the seats.
So check out my entire Alpha One install into my M2C as well! Speakers and subs, makes a huge difference and is plug n play.
Is it really better sound if i make only the 2 subs for seats and the rest stay original HK ?
I actually recommend the full set, but the subs along make a huge difference if piecing in over time
Might not actually get a G80 because they put such a cheap garbage audio system
I can fix that, as I can order Bimmertech gear. I have ordered a G87 m2 and will have alpha one speakers, amp and subs waiting.
