Stunning! Your spatter technique gives it such a unique look and makes it so painterly. Something I always am trying to do so. I’m definitely gonna try this.! ❤
Thank you so much! It's not bad for one of my first florals in watercolor. I need to deepen the background to make the flowers pop a bit more but otherwise, the texture and color is lovely.
I love watching your videos, it’s nice to see someone enjoy colour and mixing as much as I do. The product reviews are helpful for me in finding just the right colour that suits me. Thank you for sharing 🎨
Hi Kelly. I've been watching your videos for sometime. I just love the muted colours and technique that you use. Your graphite tracing tip was exceptional and I've been using it with much joy! Well done on stepping out of your comfort zone and thank you for your regular posts - I so enjoy them!
Newbie here. So what about the pencil marks of the sketch? Are they painted over, or do you have to erase them? ( thanks for your expertise.). So I’m about at the end of your video, so I’m guessing that the lines effectively disappear.
Welcome to In the Studio! Because I'm using my handmade graphite paper, the lines eventually do disappear but I also put them on very lightly as you saw in the beginning. If there were any hard lines left, I usually try to lighten them if possible.
I am constantly amazed by your beautiful artwork and inspiration.
You are too sweet, thank you!

Glad you enjoyed the water splashes and hope they give you the look you want. Thanks for watching!
ALWAYS... exceptional beautiful results💚🩷💚🩷💚
Ahhh, you are too kind! I'm pleased with the way it turned out but a darker background would have made the flowers stand out a bit more.
You are an amazing artist and this painting is absolutely gorgeous! 😊

You are very welcome and I'm so happy to have such a kindred spirit in my audience, thank you for that!
The flowers look like they are just greeting a new morning after a soft rain. So beautiful, I picked up a lot of tricks with this video. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your beautiful comments and I'm thrilled there were some tips for you in this video too!
Kelly, this is just beautiful! Great job painting out of your comfort zone with bright colors.
Flowers and bright pinks, oh yes, it was a big of a leap. Thanks for watching!

So unique. Ethereal.
thank you!
It is quite soft, maybe even a little too light in the background, but thank you!
Beautiful ! Are you using granulation medium or water when you flick on the paint? Thank you
I am just using clean water when I splash. Thank you for asking!

@@CindyRippe I have been waiting for your comment LOL
Kelly, I didn't see on your link what kind of paper you used. Could you comment on that? Thank you!
I like Fabriano Studio or Fabriano Artistico for my watercolor paper choices in cold press because I like the texture. Thanks for asking!
