Oh my gosh?..just found you! Fantastic UA-cam! Definitely happy that I found you! Your relaxing narrative made it so peaceful to listen to. Thank you!❤️
So glad you found me too, welcome to In the Studio! I have a lot of playlists on my channel so if you are looking for anything particular take a peek and enjoy.
You sketched the leafs, but I only can see some of this lines. So, when you color the sketch in, the leafs blooms up ... I really like this process 😊 Thanks for sharing it...❤
Thank you so much! I actually trace the leaves as light as I can then add color. Once dry I erase any left over lines to clean up the image a bit. Glad you enjoyed watching them come to life with color!
Thank you so much and I fell in love with the accordion/concertina book because of the unfolding stories! Make one for yourself, it is pretty easy especially since I was able to create one LOL
I just found you, and am so pleased I did. Your work and teaching style are inspiring. I also think your custom made journal is brilliant. I think the idea of flowing your practice pieces, one into another is great for not having to decide what to paint each time you open the journal, but if you have something in mind it will still find a home in your journal. I also really enjoyed the music you used, with just the right amount of volume and imagination. Thank you. I just acquired a large set of Kurake paints for a song. I have played with them a bit, but they certainly aren't really watercolors. They are something else- something special. I haven't found many tutorials on these unique paints, you are the best so far. It is like painting with cream, and I adore the slightly shiny quality. I am working on a dandelion study, and the results have me very excited. Thank you again. You have certainly earned an enthusiastic subscriber. best wishes from Colorado.
How can you not care about blues?!!! I think you get your artist license revoked if you don't use that color. But seriously, well done! I admire your sensitivity to color pallet (even sans blue). You capture delicacies nicely.
I have always not liked blue in all mediums, acrylics, colored pencils and now watercolors although they are growing on me in the indigo coloration especially. Thanks for understanding LOL
The music is perfect! I have never seen leaves like this. The beauty of nature 😍 ✨️
Thank you so much and the leaves are a mystery to me but love them!
You have such a delicate style... I keep coming back for more... I love this!!!
You are too kind, thank you! I have a lot of playlists on my channel if you are looking for something specific, enjoy.

I have a love/hate relationship with blooms. The ones you purposefully or unintentionally created for the swatches are gorgeous!
I love blooms are always splash water onto my pieces hoping to create texture. It is one of my favorite things in watercolor for sure.
It makes me so happy to get notified of a new tutorial from you 😊. I have this set so I’m excited to watch!
Thank you so much and it is a beautiful palette of exciting colors, hope this inspires you to play!
This is lovely. I really enjoy the way you design your sketchbook pages, and your wonky leaves have a lot of character!
I love the concertina sketchbooks because of the unfolding, continuous story you can create. Thank you for watching!
Daniel Smith has a Mars Yellow but not like this Hue, ..... Lovely work Kelly, I've become quite taken with your sketchbook work. Cheers!

Hah! 😊smart reuse for a scrabble board. That art book is so neat!
I collect old game boards and Scrabble is the easiest to find so why not LOL
I enjoyed very much watching your process. The colors are lovely and the composition makes me want to wander and drift through the accordion book.

Do you have any idea what type of tree the leaves came from?
I really don't but I think they are some form of Oak because that is what our property mostly has on it.
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
