the new STHL trimmer are junk if you ask me. I have been doing small engine repair for 30 years and the old stihls were one of the best products to buy. Now they are more of a homeowner commercial product. they are extremelty time consuming and difficult at times to tear down to repair just the simplest things. I am presently working on a FS70R that had a plugged spark arrestor , air filter , bad plug, and while removing the plug boot it pulled the spark plug wire out. Look into the Echo, Husqvarna or go cordless.
I agree with many of your points. I has a Honda trimmer before this one and it was pretty heavy. My local Suzuki motorcycle dealer also sold Stihl. That is why I have a Stihl. Thank you for watching.

I thought it might be weakened clutch springs allowing the clutch to bang inside the bell. Nope! 😂

The fs 56 ,the heavy duty kombi fs 56 is a good trimmer,they are easy to work on,better than sthil 4 mixes.
