BBS02 With a Larger Chain Ring - Doesn't Kill It

The gears were skipping on my Radwagon 4 so I added a new bigger front chainring in order to use more of the rear gears. I cruise in 6th gear now. 44t to 48t!
I'd heard that a Bafang BB02 could be killed with the larger chain ring. That hasn't been my experience thus far.

You just have teeths worn out on 11t sprocket, it's replaceble on most cassettes ...

Mine did that too. Take a link out of the chain, or relube chain, white lightning wax is by far the best.

why do you have weights on the bafang??
