Wow, I wasn't expecting to see this. Torquay represent. What a great gig, hope there's more like this to come in our little town. I still believe that we could become the Bryon Bay of Victoria, a cultural hotspot. If we only placed less emphasis on fucking surfing and sports and focused more on the arts. Unlikely I know. But one can still dream.
One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Fantastic set list, band was in peak form and kudos to the front of house mixer and lighting operator - the sound was unbelievably good (they are using a pretty high end SSL console for the show) Thanks for sharing this - great memories!
Thankyou again for upload. No band has a song for a close, like Queens and Song for the Dead. Your viewpoint caught all the atmosphere. It is virtually Pro Shot... loved it. Hope you get a shout out from the boys.... have seen them in melbourne 7 times. 2 x big day outs, 2 x palace. My favourite though was splendour 2005. Something special they do at festival shows.... great band live and great records as well. All the best.
at 5:28 josh was pointing out the best torquay folk lm guessing were local's as they had a awesome setup they had there marquees and deck chairs and got to watch the concert for free why us paying guest's had to stand up all day in the heat but i class them as aussie legends was a fucking awesome concert and don't regret having to pay top dollar to be there
It was the best concert ... everyone had a smile on their face and the sound was epic...I tried to film and sort the sound to pay justice to the show... I was watching it beside the camera not through it mostly
I agree, the only song missing was Mexicola Tightest QOTSA set I've attended in 24yrs and some 30+ shows throughout mostly Aus, but several EU and nth America shows. Hopefully not Josh's final peak, but possibly.
@@CRN8091 Something like Walking On Sidewalks would be a banger to drop during their upcoming NZ shows. Their discography is now so massive with 8 albums and full of too many good tunes to play even 50% of their top songs in 2hrs. I'm so glad I got to see them when they only had 2, 3, 4 and 5 albums in 2000, 01, 03, 04, 05, 07 and 09. They'll have something special for iNZed bru. I'm only jealous of one thing on the Australiasian tour this far - that guy who got to kiss Josh Homme in the crowd in Sydney. I've never kissed a dude, but wouldn't second guess pashing that man!!!
Cant believe you cut the two songs I came looking for, do you have any footage of Kalopsia and or Negative space by chance would love to see them playing that? Praying they play that in Christchurch
Can't believe they played In My Head, wish I was there 😢
Next time....such an epic night
@@JDMediaMusic_ will there be a next time though?!
