I love Straight Jacket Fitting so much, it's the QOTSA song I never thought should exist yet never knew how badly I needed... It's ridiculous, calculated, campy, filthy, dark, celebratory, chaotic, studied... Kinda like a 50 yr old, 6'5" American ginger self-proclaimed wannabe pirate who's also a rockstar putting down the hard drugs... And taking up crowdsurfing on a Wednesday night in London
I´ve been in this show, and also in two recent concerts they performed in Spain and man, what a difference... Josh was so drunk in London´s show that he cut the flow with continuous drunk monologues that clearly made Troy and Michael unconfortable. Meanwhile, in Spain he was unbelievable, just superb.
love it when they play "3s and 7s". Wish Joshs guitar was a tad more in front of the mix in the beginning, but it was perfect during the solo in the end
@@friedricedonkey7209 So I was at the concert, I was hungry. I had the choice of either popcorn (Which they put too much butter on) or a pizza, so obviously, I chose the pizza. My stomach started hurting, my mom called he friend to pick me up, and by the time they got to Budweiser Gardens, I was feeling fine
Mikey spoke about it in an interview before they went to... Canada (?). So everyone expects QOTSA to mix up the setlist from show to show, but when a band is too cool to play their biggest hits, it's a dick move and an insult to your fans. However, SFD wasn't a single, wasn't a "hit," so they thought it wouldn't be a big deal... Mikey said they closed a couple shows w/different songs, and PISSED AF was the unexpected, undesired reaction-bad scene, everyone's fault. Henceforth, SFD is and shall remain The Final Song.
Wow! 3s and 7s has really improved! In performances from earlier this year it sounded really rough and Josh kept messing up the guitar solos (I'd guess because they hadn't played it in ages), but now they've started playing it again in a lot of live gigs it sounds clean!

They didn’t even play song for the dead which is weird

Let them do what the hell they want, they don't owe the fans that song, they fuckin wrote it, amongst many other classics ❤
@@philipmorris57 don’t know why you decided to take offense to this comment
It’s weird to demand a certain song
@@Bob46374 I agree. Nobody should be that "BORN TO HULA!" guy 🤣
