@@davidcorodeanu4535yea I was just playing and I got a player who was using medium and used Sherif pistol for gun and aim direct at head no matter how much far we were and on the first round he and his teammate who was also a hacker got 80 to 90 kills just 2 of them they had the cashout of 90k we qualified just for wiping out some player by 3k and where ever we spawn he was ready with and kill us like why are even there even though we won the tow round but in final round he was just killing us like we were some toys and his level was 9 with 6 matches and 200 kills

Yeah red dot customization would be nice especially if you can just simply go to settings and turn it on or off, shouldn’t be too difficult, I like how I customized my crosshair on console, if I could make it a smaller version of my customized crosshair for the red dot, that would be convenient

I play for about 4 hours a day, and at the end of each session, I usually report 1 or 2 players for cheating, either with aimbot or wallhack. If they laser me too accurately from long range or show suspiciously high awareness (like with wallhacks), I report them. The next day, I often see the 'Thanks for your report' message on my screen.
Ive gamed for more than 20+ years competitively on shooter games and I can easily say the amount of cheaters there are now with god like aim shooting from 50+ yards or even upclose beaming you without missing a shot is just extremely unrealistic and it shows how many people are brainwashed thinking so many players are actually good when they aren’t. In THE FINALS it’s extremely easy to spot cheaters. They wear ONLY free items they received so if their account gets banned they dont lose money or they are a low level randomly generated name (UnusualTire)/or TEMP172038 w 50-150 wins and 1500-3000+ total kills with 10-20killed by the end of the match. They usually play light or medium class, if its light they rock m11, V95, or sniper. If its medium its Pike, AK,Model. Ever since FORTNITE took off and FaZe Jarvis exposed DMA cheats the WHOLE WORLD TOOK ADVANTAGE

It is really impossible to get rid of cheaters completely however there are alternative ways of preventing cheaters such as two step phone verification method to reduce account creation somehow. Embark does not care, just like most companies do, they jus want to sell skins to bang the buck. They even don't allow people showing off cheating software's on UA-cam so they immediately trademark it :) isn't that funny? This game won't have much to left unless if they don't take precaution at least showing off they do care a bit lol

As much as I agree I think Embark do it to allow more server-side processing. If bullets always go to the center of the screen, then it is a simple calculation and easier to process on the server side, since every shot has no extra randomness added from the recoil itself. Having the recoil purely visual gives the server something less to process - and I think this is incredibly important in a game like the finals. I would love to see Embark taking a different approach to make bullets shoot where the crosshair is instead but that would also then add to potential lag issues - both in terms of framerate and server performance. :)
I'm gonna be honest. I don't encounter to many cheaters. I'm not the best, I'm not the worst but in casual games there are a ton of bad players. Bad decision making, bad position, bad aim, and bad reaction time. I don't want to devalue anyone's claims since solely listening to Pros and not casuals is not the way to handle things, vise versa,. But, sometimes it is because people are just bad at the game. Sometimes it is because they are cheating. I had a player who was self pro-claimed 4 time Pred, 6 time Master in Apex Legends (He was a twitch streamer, I looked at that) and he was hitting EVERY SINGLE SHOT with the pike from 80+ Meters away while always knowing where you are. I reporting him and he got banned same match 3 mins later. Next time I logged in the next day, Embark gave me a message and thanked me for reporting and wished me a good luck. Overall though, games are meant to be fun and sweating to the point where where you need a little dot on your screen to land those long distance shots is indeed cheating. Reason being, it goes against the intended design of the game to have an unfair advantage.
I play from season 1 to 4 everyday after work just encounter 1 cheater in casual match and report it. I play 2 tournament every weekend. it's my experience from Asia and Europe server

So people fix this issue by putting a cross in the middle of the screen. How is this even considered "unfair"? You can do it too if you don't like it. There are apps in steam that does it. Takes you 2 minutes to install. Most monitors even have crosshair overlay options.
I play several hours every day and I meet a cheater about once every 2 weeks. Regarding crosshair overlay, Rob said as long as you're not modifying game files it's ok.
I never liked visual recoil anyway. I've always liked physical recoil. Having recoil that moves the camera instead of the gun just makes so much more sense, but I am on PC and I have no idea how much this would hurt console players. It's obviously much easier to wrestle the camera with a mouse than a controller. I really have no idea what the answer is then, nor do I know if what I said is even a fact because I personally only ever play single player games on console, but I find myself waiting for recoil to drop on console while on PC I can properly brace for recoil.

They can't do it... Because it's too much data to record and replay... Physics/24 players, mayhem... They can't do it, because the architectural design of the game or unreal engine, doesn't allow it in an efficient manner or at all... Any GPU effects won't be able to be replayed, more likely... Leading to missing smokes potentially and other artifacts, wrong orientation position of players etc... Also, even if it worked perfectly, it would highlight how terrible the netcode actually is... so... Embark has an easy choice here... They won't do it... in the forseeable future.
@arditm2178 They previously stated that they're up for the task tho. I mean, these are ex-dice devs (the same people who made Battlefield 3 and 4). While it is a very tough challenge to conquer, I'd suggest a replay mode where you can view the entire match in their free roam camera or spectate a certain player like how they have it in Private matches

Currently in the finals almost Every gun has has a short ADS time, The reason why this is possibleIt's because after ADS If players are moving they still have to re align the center of their screen. A perfect example of this is the lights sniper, If you look Eclipse of people that use a cross hair overlay or they have mastered memorizing where the center of their screen is, They make the weapon look completely busted. But without, But if you look at people without one of those 2 crucial keys, They can scope in really fast but they don't actually hit their targets. If you got rid of the ADS offset that scopes have While moving and shooting, Then you have to increase ADS time, Just to keep the effective time to kill The same. But I'm not a dumb ass, I can see how visual recoil Can feel Just As bad as a slow ADS speed. So I would like to offer a Truce, Instead of doing either of our plans they add a new attachment. A laser sight, And what it would do is it would allow Players to change their bullet spread from being the center of their screen To the center of the Scope
@slushyrunner4677 Crosshair follow the recoil so you aim with crosshair to hit anything so if you try to overlay static crosshair in the center of the screen you will miss
What does visual recoil even mean? I think bullets go to my dot on both AKM and FCAR. I really don't want the CS thing where bullets deviate wildly from the dot.
visual recoil means it's the players' camera/pov that's shaking instead of being the standard recoil which is the gun pulling your camera instead of the camera pulling itself. visual recoil is very obvious with revolver. try to ads and spam it. the gun has no recoil but your camera does which is very stupid.

Idk I’m ps5 and games are fun and fair, I haven’t encountered an actual cheater yet but when I go into quick cash or power shift and I get a lobby with only ps5 players games feel sweaty and it feels like people are on chronis because lights can map you with the m11 without missing any shots
Its 100% unenforceable with monitors that offer built in crosshairs. Its NOT a battle embark will win. Its also terrible game design to have your ADS lie to you where the bullets are going. Using a crosshair in game thus isn't even immoral and I encourage everyone to use one. ***If putting a piece of tape in your screen is considered cheating, its the game that has an issue not the player.***
I agree it *shouldn't* be considered cheating, but honestly seeing crosshair overlay gameplay with something like the revolver or pike seems to kinda put the gun on easy mode, which is not ideal.
Btw easy way to play without 3rd party software or anything else, the first shot is always centred, just hit youre shots and use the hitmarkers as indicator! Thank me later
3rd party crosshairs are not against terms of service dude. All the top players are using it, it’s not considered cheating. There was a time where it was a grey area, bot now, no, a few devs have said first hand, it is ok to use a 3rd party crosshairs. So long as none of the files have been changed or tampered with, it’s fair game.
Because bank it gets you the most xp and fans its full of cheaters. Most are are small builds using m11. You can just tell. Using a crosshair overlay, is not against the terms of service. It was simply put in a discord post that it was a form of cheating when used to gain an advantage but nowhere else in any official literature was it ever stated that it was against ToS. Even during the PEAK of discussion, which btw now its dead and has seen a resolution so you're bringing up a now dead issue which is even more odd, it was simply frowned upon and never confirmed to be bannable by the devs. In the past (prior to S4), I used a crosshair overlay for a truly static crosshair that disappeared when I ADS and was very open about it. This was because the crosshair that was currently in The Finals, at the time CB-S3, was quite literally ableist in design to people like myself with astigmatism as the constant inorganic jiggling was a trigger to chronic migraines. That being said, I dont use it anymore however, if somebody wanted to even if it wasnt for accessibility, I genuinely would not care because I don't consider modifications such as this as actual proper cheats. Moving on crosshair overlays that DO NOT inject anything into the game and come from a monitor OR software that slaps a png into the middle of your screen were greenlit by the devs during S4, as well. Crosshair programs like crosshair v2 and crosshair x are even white listed in EAC and the devs could easily add an exception to their game to ban said popular crosshair programs, should they be something they want to start enforcing as cheating and as a bannable offense. Love your content as always but please... fact check and don't be disingenuous.
Did my research about this and as a console player i'm blown away. I knew about wall hack and aimbot but this is new for me. No wonder people have been beanig me from across the map with ease.

also just add a option to remove the red dot sights red dot so that its blank so that players can replace it with whatever custom crosshair they want

@ I went to iron sights first and it gave me a good feel for the recoil, and it made the scope easier to use. But damn it when it’s not proper

Or update the anti cheat so people can't use Xim, Cronus, and any cheating programs.
The cheating issue is getting pretty bad on PC. Yesterday, in 2 games back to back, I've encountered cheaters.
I think it is included in the weapons balance, so guns are worse at close range where other abilities and swords etc shine

They could remove visual recoil or have it work like in cod but cod have smooth recoil so its not a problem to track enemies while ads

@slushyrunner4677 Crosshair follow the recoil so you aim with crosshair to hit anything so if you try to overlay static crosshair in the center of the screen you will miss
This crosshair nonsense barely makes a difference. Wall hacks and soft aimbot are the problem
monitor crosshairs are undetectable and if you have a simple static corsshair that matches or is smaller than your monitor one, no one will notice

What does visual recoil even mean? I think bullets go to my dot on both AKM and FCAR.
I really don't want the CS thing where bullets deviate wildly from the dot.
visual recoil means it's the players' camera/pov that's shaking instead of being the standard recoil which is the gun pulling your camera instead of the camera pulling itself.
visual recoil is very obvious with revolver. try to ads and spam it. the gun has no recoil but your camera does which is very stupid.

Visual recoil adds to the gunplay, which adds to the quality of the gameplay. Guns that kick like a .22 wouldn't add a thing to the gameplay.

Crosshair overlays are not a TOS violation. If they where the anticheat would easily detect crosshair X and ban the player. Minimal effort.

Idk I’m ps5 and games are fun and fair, I haven’t encountered an actual cheater yet but when I go into quick cash or power shift and I get a lobby with only ps5 players games feel sweaty and it feels like people are on chronis because lights can map you with the m11 without missing any shots
Its 100% unenforceable with monitors that offer built in crosshairs. Its NOT a battle embark will win.
Its also terrible game design to have your ADS lie to you where the bullets are going.
Using a crosshair in game thus isn't even immoral and I encourage everyone to use one.

I agree it *shouldn't* be considered cheating, but honestly seeing crosshair overlay gameplay with something like the revolver or pike seems to kinda put the gun on easy mode, which is not ideal.
Btw easy way to play without 3rd party software or anything else, the first shot is always centred, just hit youre shots and use the hitmarkers as indicator!

3rd party crosshairs are not against terms of service dude. All the top players are using it, it’s not considered cheating. There was a time where it was a grey area, bot now, no, a few devs have said first hand, it is ok to use a 3rd party crosshairs. So long as none of the files have been changed or tampered with, it’s fair game.

Because bank it gets you the most xp and fans its full of cheaters. Most are are small builds using m11. You can just tell. No matter where youre at in relation to them, how late they see you, whether in air or invisible its heashot from the beginning of fire to the end. I truly dont get it. What losers.
I'm going to stop you right there, at 1:15 because when you start a video blatantly not having the facts straight, it's quite odd and disingenuous. I'd give you the benefit of the doubt of ignorance but when you publish a video without first fact checking yourself, I draw the line as it is spreading misinformation through the community for the sake of clicks. Perhaps it wasn't the intention but that's sort of your duty as a fellow creator to fact check yourself and be credible.
Let's get a few things correct. Using a crosshair overlay, is not against the terms of service. It was simply put in a discord post that it was a form of cheating when used to gain an advantage but nowhere else in any official literature was it ever stated that it was against ToS. Even during the PEAK of discussion, which btw now its dead and has seen a resolution so you're bringing up a now dead issue which is even more odd, it was simply frowned upon and never confirmed to be bannable by the devs. In the past (prior to S4), I used a crosshair overlay for a truly static crosshair that disappeared when I ADS and was very open about it. This was because the crosshair that was currently in The Finals, at the time CB-S3, was quite literally ableist in design to people like myself with astigmatism as the constant inorganic jiggling was a trigger to chronic migraines. That being said, I dont use it anymore however, if somebody wanted to even if it wasnt for accessibility, I genuinely would not care because I don't consider modifications such as this as actual proper cheats.
Moving on crosshair overlays that DO NOT inject anything into the game and come from a monitor OR software that slaps a png into the middle of your screen were greenlit by the devs during S4, as well. Crosshair programs like crosshair v2 and crosshair x are even white listed in EAC and the devs could easily add an exception to their game to ban said popular crosshair programs, should they be something they want to start enforcing as cheating and as a bannable offense.
