Considering that Robert Plant was an incredibly handsome and beautiful man in his prime, you will not be dissapointed when you see the face connected to the voice.
You could see their prime in "Since I've Been Loving You" LIVE at MSG Song Remains the Same. It's amazing all around. Another blues great, probably my favorite from them.
Can A Song Be Haunting & Yet Beautiful At The Same Time??...The Answer To That Question,, Led Zeppelin "No Quarter"...A MUST HEAR Answer & An Absolute Classic As Well.
I’m first! Love your reaction on many different levels. Suggest you try “ Since I’ve Been Loving You” live video from 1973. Then you’ll see what the singer really looks like!!
True Dat Alley Cat 🐱...I Would Add That,, The Strange Sound Heard At 1:26 Into The Song,, Is The Unmistakable Sound Of Hundreds Of Panties Dropping🩲👩 🤪
Can’t go wrong with Zeppelin. Yeah, that’s a crazy song. Loved the expression on your face when he was getting his lemon squeezed. And I don’t think he was talking about lemonade, lol You should react to since I’ve been loving you off of Led Zeppelin 3 it’s amazing. Thanks, I really enjoyed that. You made me smile 😂
As someone else said, this song is blues mash-up of several songs. This is one of their songs that really showcases the bass played by John Paul Jones. The double-time fast sections are what bands sometimes called a "rave up" and were meant to get the audience up and dancing. Zep music is very "intimate" in that it will reach into mind, body, and spirit and all the instruments are given voices as loud as Robert's vocals - especially Jimmy's guitar. Truly, you should start at the beginning and go in album/track order - you will NOT be disappointed! It is an extraordinary journey.
Great reaction and song! I love how tickled you were by this! Did you know this song is kind of a Frankenstein combination of a few older blues songs? Mainly, "Killing Floor" by Howlin' Wolf (Jimi Hendrix did a hell of a cover of that one), "Traveling Riverside Blues" by Robert Johnson (Zeppelin did a full cover of it later on. Also the band Cream used it as part of their cover of Johnson's "Crossroads") - This is where the "squeeze my lemon" part came from. "Cross-Cut Saw" by Albert King was another that was used here. Howlin' Wolf sued them for copyright infringement. They settled out of court, he got paid and his name was credited as co-writer on later releases of the album.
A very naughty song with the best execution imaginable, all four players are beyond belief! You should see them live, try from the Song Remains the Same concert movie soundtrack, listen to Since I've Been Loving You, it is an amazing performance and hog energy blues rock at its best. Nice reaction there pretty lady, you did great! Enjoy. 🎵🎤🎹🎶
Greetings from Canada- nice job. Many ladies need a cigarette after that... A really sensual tune of Zep should be next: Since I've Been Loving You LIVE MSG, NYC, 1973. Enjoy... have restoratives handy! Peace, love and bellbottoms.
This was fantastic!!! I love that guitar riff. These are 4 of the best musicians that ever formed a band, no joke. I know you're busy, but if you want to see a spectacular live performance, Since I've Been Loving You live at Madison Square Garden will blow you away!!! Glad you're back... 🙂🙂🙂💓💓💓
So when he is saying "...my children", it's like he's saying "my people" as he tells his story to the people at large. At that time is was common to hear such things as a lingo of hippy/psychedelic spiritualists, gurus, and the like. Thanks
Could you check out the band "Poets of the Fall" and their music video "Carnival of Rust" They are a very underrated rock band from Finland and my favorite band and while the song is not my favorite from them it is their most successful internationally song by a huge margin. Also the music video was chosen as the best Finnish music video ever made!
I was really looking forward to watching your reaction to this one. You did not disappoint. And the fact that you got the meaning of the last line so quickly was impressive.
travellin riverside blues has the infamous squeeze my lemon as well. lol the song custard pie has interesting lyrics too. lol just make sure you do a video that included the lyrics on screen. lol
Damn girl. I just finished watching u react to Whole Lotta Love by LZ then straight here to this one. These are the only two reactions I've seen by u. U sure know how to pick em, dont cha? 😂. Oh wells, on to ur reaction. I'm sure I'll love it. Mark
You have to watch them live! 1973 MSG, or Earls Court 1975! Come on girl, you don’t know them until you see them preform! Check out STEVE RAY VAUGHN & DOUBLE TROUBLE...HE ISTHE KING OF ELECTRIC BLUES!
Trying your hardest😅 not to giggle too much.. Plant here is in top form.. John Paul Jones is the bassist here.. His bass lines on this and “Ramble On” are earworms.. He’s still active, his most recent project that I know of is with the super group, Them Crooked Vultures..
When you ask about Zeppelin's way of making things about sex in the early 70's? There are other bands and artists that did as check out the song "Brick House" by the Comodoors. Or Tone Loc singing "Funky Cold Medina"
Well, as I said before, it does make sense that you would be in bed with this song... juicy. Maybe it's time that you see these cats doing their thing live. Since I've Been Loving You or Rock and Roll, both live at MSG are as good as any place to start. Enjoy the ride with Zeppelin... it's one helluva journey.

They never buried the bass into the background because JPJ was that good!
My thought was that the bass line is brilliant.
Loved your reaction. So much fun.

There are more references to lemons in Travelling Riverside Blues.

It was and is very appropriate.

Check out Pearl Jam
Or Alice in Chains
Preferably from either band's unplugged show
Hi Sean, Pearl Jam is on my list - I only know Better Man. I’ll pop Alice in Chains on there too and note the unplugged part.
Nutshell from AIC is a good choice
Or Black from PJ
You paused at worst possible time.
Juicy!!!!!
