Hey girl! So my advice would be to tread lightly and try to open your eyes to things. When I was 18 I had a bf that my mom liked as a person but didn’t like for me. I was confused because he treated me nice, spent a lot of time together, travelled together, etc. We were together for 4 years and then he broke up with me the day before my birthday🤦🏾♀️ long story short, mom didn’t like him for me because he wasn’t on my level and she felt like he was jealous of my progression. When I reflect on it now, I see exactly what she meant and realized i noticed the red flags during the relationship, I just overlooked them because I loved him. But idk though, just try to see things from all perspectives and don’t disregard any red flags!!! 👍🏾💕
