@@gilgamesh..... Thanks! Do you remember if you used Avarice? Scholar was easier bc of co-op. Not sure if Vanilla drop rate is different.

@@ishington Yeah, I had the avarice head and i think one of the shields raises drop rate and the jester's outfit. I never co-oped.

Does the Jesters cap work for item discovery even if you don't have the dex to use it properly?

I’m not 100% sure but I think you still get the effect it just doesn’t provide the defensive bonus’s it normally would with the stat requirement

currently playing vanilla dark souls 2 on ps3, when I check the stats, there is no way of telling how strong the item discovery is per item.
does that change in scholar of the first sin? or how do you know?
