We do not know enough about the guy in white to have a good idea of his belief system. Part of what he said was beautiful, but he was wrong about this being paradise. It is not. It was, once, before Adam and Eve sinned. Right now, it's a fallen world that only echoes paradise. There is beauty in that echo, but it is a faded remnant of what was. Thank God, one day he will rip apart this broken world and create it anew, wholly perfect, truly paradise, and all who have turned from their sin and followed God, who are washed clean of their sin by the blood of Jesus Christ and assured eternal life by his resurrection, shall share together in that paradise, forever worshiping God. Hopefully, this young man will be numbered among those!

Materialistic things aren't all bad. Most games (namely video and board) are material stuff, but used well can bring people really together, food is material but a good amateur chef can bring people together, social media with phones, when not abused can keep bonded friends and families close even when far apart. There's a lot of wrong shit with materialism and especially with capitalism, but not all of it ! Materialism is IMO not the enemy, modern capitalism definitely is though !

It’s hard to say what things are considered extra because it’s subjective at the end of the day. Rationalism is how you reach enlightenment. Without formal ontology and epistemology how can anyone believe any of the claims you are making. "A Building of Love" is actually a pretty good metaphor for any kind of ambition that is grounded in purpose and realization. I think he's completely right, we are in Paradise. There are many distractions find relative reasons for sorrows and worries, but inherently life in the universe is completely and utterly amazing. If we are asking for something more miraculous than this consciousness that is already manifested, we are coming from a place of learned delusion. There is so much Beauty and I think this guy gets it. ❤

The Truth is simple: Love each other as Christ loved us. Forgive each other as God has forgiven us in Christ.
Let yourself hear from Jesus Himself, Read John 10. Read the Gospel. Lower yourself. The enemy often tries to deceive you, making you believe you're more than simple Truth. I myself I've been deceived this way: "don't read the Gospel because it's too simple". Instead Read the Gospel because it is simple. Lower yourself. Read the Gospel.
