Undertaker kicking out of the Sweet Chin Music/Pedigree combo, is one of the best ones of all time, legendary.
Yeah.....as an Undertaker fan, as soon as I saw that I thought it was over.....boy howdy I was wrong
I remember watching that and that to this day is my biggest mark out moment as a fan. When the Streak was nearly over, Taker kicks out and Shawn Michael’s reaction was amazing.
It legit made me jump out my seat
I was scared as hell that this was it. But dang it, the teasing kept me in suspense until the conclusion.
@@venomousnate7263 ,e6i
I heard that Mick Foley legitimately kicked out of the Pedigree since he thought the match shouldn’t end with a Steph interference and then a Pedigree. He told Trips to Pedigree him into thumb tacks. Damn Foley you scary.
Apparently it was because the first pedigree missed a lot of the tacks and he thought the pedigree in the tacks would be more impactful. Trips had no idea he was going to do that, as you said.
Couldn't a thumb tack have gone through Foley's eyelids and legitimately pierced his eyeball? Did they shorten the tacks, or have Foley land on his chin to avoid that happening? It's a disturbing thought I've never been able to shake when seeing that spot.
@@mangoman2148 On one hand I wanna think that the tacks were shortened. But on the other hand it was the year 2000 people were still bashing each others brains in with steel chairs.
@@mangoman2148 it was a very real risk and you can see he has tacks in his face at the end of the match when he turns over. I think he turns his head to the side in between HHH’s legs as he’s taking the bump, but yeah... it was scary.
Mick. We love you dearly. NEVER EVER DO THAT AGAIN!
Charles Robinson running is the greatest Wrestlemania moment ever
I laughed like crazy at that, I'm not sure now, I'll go back and check, but I'm pretty sure the ramp was so long that they switched back and forth from Taker pinning Edge to Charles running like three times, and at the third I died because I was like "what the hell, he's STILL not there?!"
1:19 Run Charles Run!
who could ever question it 😂😂
Taker's 4 year storytelling with HBK & Triple H was so good that can't be duplicated ever. I felt my heart stop...until it restarted when *The Demon of Death Valley* kicked out before the 3 count happened.
*and another F5!*
Sorry I had to
Taker when Shawn kicked out of the Tombstone at WM 25:
👁👄👁
That was mental.
Legendary facial expression.
Has anyone made a meme out of that face? Cause they should
Well, rotate it first
When Stone Cold kicked out of the second rock bottom at wrestle mania 19, the way the rock fumbles across the ring in sheer horror and of course JR going mental on commentary.
And the 3rd Rock Bottom after that one was just vicious and a perfect ending to that match.
100%
My #1 is Dominick Dijakovic kicking out of the Spirit Bomb at Portland. No one in the arena expected Dijakovic to kick out and people literally counted three. Not only is Keith’s Reaction priceless, but the crowd lost their minds.
Great, now i have to watch that match again
AJ Styles kicking out of the AA was pretty shocking.
*Top Rope AA
Kevin Owens was the first one to ever do it and that moment was amazing
I wasn't that suprised I like AJ and I knew that wouldn't go well with the fans and crowd at Summerslam.
Probably my favorite match I ever saw in person
I will never forget John Cena just sitting in the corner after that just like not even sure how to beat AJ Styles after that, like Cena was just like well that’s it!
I think Kofi kicking out of Daniel Bryan's running knee at mania should be on here. It's actually a really protected finisher and it was so late in the match that it was a very convincing finish.
Didnt kofi kickout of it at elimination chamber ?
Also roman kicking out of it was more shocking
@@willg1088 Yes, Kofi did. Adam mentions that in the Santino entry.
My favorite one of all time is Taker's kick out of the SCM-Pedigree combo at Mania 28.
And so was Adam's
My favorite is Omega’s at Revolution because i was in that crowd and good god the feeling you get when the Bucks hit him with the Golden Trigger then he kicks at 1... just euphoria
Right? I could not BELIEVE he kicked out of that. Two of the most protected finishers ever, in quick succession, with NO delay before the pinfall. I thought him winning was a sure thing going in, because The Streak, but at that moment I thought there was absolutely no way he was surviving. You could *nuke* him and it wouldn't do more damage.
I went to Elimination Chamber & I lost my voice bcuz I started the "Santino!" chants...I was amazing hearing the pop grow louder & louder before everyone was cheering him on. What a great moment I'll never forget it!
Undertaker kicking out after Triple H and HBK hit the X-Mark at Wrestlemania 28 was, objectively the greatest ever.
"Gruesome Susan" - another one for the list of nicknames
We need a Taker and Brock nickname list
@@yungtim52 There's a video with all the Undertaker ones up until November 2020.
That is a long list.
@@thadavidrain link?
Menacing Michael the frightful disciple is my personal favourite 🤣
That’s part of what’s so good about the kofi vs Daniel feud. Kofi became Daniel Bryan and everything Daniel was leading up to 2014 mania while Daniel became everything Daniel fought while leading up to 2014 mania while both men were still their own characters
Omegas kickout at Revolution is definitely one of my favourite wrestling moments ever and I'm so glad they go to do it in front of an actual crowd.
For the Undertaker vs HBK WM25 match, I remember JR’s, “Chokeslams! Last Rides! Tombstones! And a kick out! And a kick out! And a kick out!”
Such an epic line!
Omega kicking out of the Bucks' Golden Trigger was one of the most exhilarating moments I've ever seen in wrestling
One of my favorite things from that Undertaker kick out at Mania 28 was JR on commentary saying “they’ve done it!! I don’t believe it they’ve done it!!! NO THEY HAVENT DONE IT I DONT BELIEVE IT THE STREAK LIVES!!!!”
cole too
"look at this look at this a pedigree a pedigree the cover streaks over streaks over no it hasnt "
I know he turned out to not be so great a person, but with that said, when Marty Scurll hit Okada with the Rainmaker at the original All In as he was trying to prove he could hang with the heavyweights...that kick out still gives me chills! Yeah, we all knew Okada would win, but that moment and the filming of it was perfect.
The unadulterated joy I get from Adam’s lists... hell I barely even watched UA-cam before discovering these lists. Thank you for so much for all the time and energy that go into these.
This is one of the best comments I've read on this platform thank you for sharing it
Honourable mention: Keith Lee vs Dominik Dijakovic at Takeover Portland. Lee hits Dijakovic with a second Spirit Bomb after Dijakovic no sells the first one and the crowd counted three and Dijakovic kicked out. AMAZING nearfall. The crowd thought it was over and so did I.
I'll always always remember Kurt being an EXPERT kick-out artist; dude would legit tease us all with the false finish kicking out at 2.99999999999
"16 tons of Furious Tofu!"
My favorites are
Lesnar kicking out of Bryan’s knee, that was insane
Shawn kicking out of the tombstone, it’s so iconic
And Like 3 kickouts from Gargano vs Cole 1
That superkick into pedigree kickout at Mania 28 is greatest kickout I thought that was it.Legit made me jump out my seat.
Paul's faces when brock kicks out of finishing moves makes the kickouts so much better
“STREAKS OVER, STREAKS OVER” takes me back to when me and my friend watched that match and we both lost our shit when Taker Kicked out.
Respect for the dictionary
I'm gonna be with Tempest on this one: Triple H hitting Tombstone then The Undertaker kicked out at WM27 is better than the Sweet Chin Music- Pedigree combo at WM28
Storywise yeah. 28 is a better moment though
You're comparing ice cream and pizza. Both are awesome.
The tombstone kickout came after Taker was already hit with 3 pedigrees. That’s what makes it crazier.
@@hypn0298 dude wm 28 match was overrated
It was boring for most of the time and hbk being there made it slower
Their wm 27 match was perfection
@Will G 10 That's very debatable. I agree it was slow but I feel that added to it more than took away.
The Seth Rollins / Neville moment was one of the few times I was willing to give WWE credit for not pissing away a talent. King Neville was great so I guess it wasn't all bad.
I don’t think we as fans appreciate how important the ref is in these kick outs as well.
You put to words the thoughts and emotions so many of us feel about wrestling better than any other.
Thanks for another superb list,
You beautiful bastard, you.
What about that time CM Punk cashed in on Jeff Hardy and hardy kicked out of the GTS every one was in shock
Probably an under-rated one considering where it took place, but during the first ever WWE Crusierweight Classic, Kota Ibushi faced Cedric Alexander and Kota's kickout at one point was so close I damn near had a heart attack.
Underrated kickout - Dolph Ziggler kicking out of the 2nd Skull Crushing Finale in the career vs title match at No Mercy after Maryse uses the hairspray again
Your lists recharge my passion for wrestling. No joke.
That number 1 was the only time I've ever scream on a kick out, my heart was pounding because I knew that was it.... But then the bloody taker kicks out at 2.99999 seconds... Amazing stuff.
Another sunday another untouchable Blampied list. Keep up the good work Adam
Excellent list 👍
umm Adam this was during triple h's 2nd reign? People tend to forget that Trips dropped the belt to big show at survivor series '99
Third reign, the first one he lost to Vince on Smackdown
It was HHH's third WWF title reign. He won his first one the night after SummerSlam 1999 and then lost it to Vince, who then vacated it. Trips regained it then lost it to Big Show at Survivor Series '99. Trips then regained it a third time on the first episode of Raw of the year 2000.
Mr. Blampied, I am already subscribed good sir that’s why I am here
Another kickout I remember very vividly was Hiroshi Tanahashi during the first round of the 2019 New Japan Cup against Shota Umino. You knew... KNEW... going in that a Young Lion was never going to beat the Ace, but Shota caught him in an Inside Cradle and Tana waited so long to kick out that for a split second I thought I was watching the upset of the century. Utterly brilliant.
No idea why this video appeared on my feeds I haven’t watched wrestling for a few years now but wtf Adam does wrestling videos again??? That’s a sub for me miss that guys humor
New video gang love you Adam
great list
Wow! I was there live for the last best and first best kickouts!
He ain’t wrong. Those were some scenes, especially as part of the audience.
Very glad the Adam Cole vs Johnny Gargano match was included, it's the only one out of them that I watched live and hot damn the false finishes fooled me completely. Still my favorite match I've ever seen in all of wrestling.
With Adam Blampied....instant like
That Gargano vs Cole Match was awesome, I was screaming when Johnny kicked out, and the crowd was with Cole and the beginning of the match, but at the end fully behind gargano
That hell in a cell match between triple H and the dead man is the greatest match in history imo.
The storytelling, triple H saying to shawn, end it or I will and taker saying do not stop him. It's just the GOAT.
"Shawn Michaels does it better," a nice summation of his entire career.
Thanks Adam
Amazing you picked my favorite as number 1 😁
I love that hbk kick out at mania 25 and jrs call makes it even better
The Lesnar kickout at Survivor Series is one of the best counter-arguments to people who say Michael Cole sucks.
Cole was at a fever pitch at that moment, and his call made it sooo much better.
Sucking 99.3% of the time is still an ironclad case for Cole's black hole tier suckage.
I remember watching that Taker/HHH match and jumping out of my seat and pacing around the room after that kickout.
God. Adam is so gifted when it comes to just talking about wrestling
I listen to Adam at night to help me go to sleep. Not saying he’s boring, just his voice is absolute velvet
Was at Wrestlemania 28. Being in attendance for Undertaker's kickout from the Sweet Chin Music + Pedigree combo was just incredible. People were LOSING THEIR MINDS. The floor was shaking. the FLOOR WAS SHAKING.
It'll be years, or even decades, before anything close to that could happen again. If ever.
Let's goooo ADAM PLUMPY BLAMPIED
When adam page kicks out of the one winged angel is a day i finally feel emotions again
Fantastic list. I'd give an honorable mention to Asuka kicking out of Ember Moon's eclipse at Takeover Brooklyn III.
Went straight to the Bryan-Lesnar match after this video. Insanely great
You dodged around my personal favorite Undertaker kick out, at Wrestlemania 27 after Triple H stole the Tombstone. I was there for that, and it felt like time went in slow motion as the ref was bringing his hand down for the third time and I still swear his finger tips brushed the canvas before taker got the shoulder up.
I was at Mania 28 .... the entire place thought that was it as a DX fan I thought that was it..... then the Kickout ..... the pop still rings in my ears!!!
I've always loved how Austin waddles over to the Rock like a toddler during the X-Seven pin
This list reminds me why I love wrestling even though I seldom watch it these days
What an amazing list, I can’t disagree with #1, I almost had a heart attack. Same thing with Gargano at New York
Nothing better than the pedigree into a sweet chin music kick out honestly I thought takers streak was over and that crowd reaction was 🔥
Kevin Owens uses his finger to touch the rope against Y2J...twice... The second time with very hurtful consequences
what happened?
@@diamondlights9819 It lead to Jericho smashing KOs hand in the steal steps. Honestly it was kinda a silly moment. Ko is able to hook the rope with his finger meaning he was definitely close enough for more than one finger to be touching the ropes. They were trying to show just how by the skin of his teeth ko got out of the walls of Jericho but it just came off as cartoony.
Love you Adam
As I saw the title I inmediately thought of Omega kicking out of the Golden Trigger, I'm glad it gets love on the list
Someone please...PLEASE compile all the varied descriptions Adam has come up with over the years for Brock Lesnar, because "16 Tons of Furious Tofu" is f***ing amazing.
Just watching this video made me entire body clench and sweat as if I was watching these matches for the first time again.
Marvellous
My favorite was Omega kicking out of the Golden Trigger at '1'.
No suspected finish or pinfall. Just straight firing shots with HUGE insult to injury on that one. Lit a fire under Kenny.
Awesome number 1.
I'm a huge Triple H and I was shocked at the kick out 😲
I am never going to forget the taker vs hhh match. Mostly cause I was there. But I remember when that happened just sitting down in disappointment and jolting back up when he kicked out. Truly deserves that spot!
The kickout from the Sweet Chin Music/Pedigree literally took my breath away
Something about Tyler Bates kick out and Kota's as well. Those how did x kick out moments. Especially when it's basically pure muscle memory. Chef's kiss
I bloody love that Tyler Bate kick out.
I think you’re wrong about Rock vs Austin. Austin not winning with the Stunner was a brilliant little detail that further solidified both Austin’s heel turn and Rock’s top babyface status imo.
For me, this list lacks of the one kickout I thought I would found on the n.1 spot, and it's the one of Wrestlemania 27 where Undertaker kicked out of Triple H's Tombstone.. it was the only moment I thought the streak was REALLY going to end before, well, the streak was ended for real by Lesnar. Neither the kick out of Wrestlemania 28 could replicate that feeling IMO, I found pretty obvious that Undertaker would won that match.. But It's only my opinion :) Great work Adam, as always!
Watching 1st one gave me goosebumps again
I was hoping to see on this list the Rock kicking out of the Stunner at WrestleMania X-7 before the barrage of chair shots he got. That got me so hype.
I would've rather had the Kurt Angle kick out you showed from the Mania 21 match instead of the HBK one. That Kurt kick out still stops my heart because of just how late it is
I love a great kickout i feel like that could really make two wrestlers a detestable heel just hits their finisher but the face gets the shoulder up at 2 for the biggest pop and it makes them look so strong even if they end up losing in the end they need to do that with Cesaro
If this list had an update. That double kickout during the Usos vs Roman and Solo match should definitely be on it.
Man this list made me realize just how much i miss crowds :(
Another great one that came to mind for me was during Lee vs. Dijakovic in TakeOver Portland, when Dijakovic tanked the first Spirit Bomb ("HOW IS HE STANDING?!") then ate a second one. The crowd was so convinced that they got to "THREE!" just as Dijakovic kicked out. Lee's expression was so good too.
Ah, wrestling.
Bate’s lockout at 1 made me super emotional for some reason
I'm Mexican. HBK is my Fav ever, my childhood hero. The call in spanish when he kicks out in WM25 was excellent as well. Carlos Cabrera said : "And look at Undertaker's face. He is thinking "What do I have to do to beat this man?!" Gosh, I love it.
1:43 I think we have different definitions of "the last possible moment", Cole has not only kicked out but flung himself all the way over, the long way, before the ref was anywhere close to counting 3.
Like Adam said, hooray for wrestling.
My fave kick out was Jay White v Ibushi at Wrestle Kingdom, I think it's when he hits Jay with the Last Ride powerbomb and he just about lifts his shoulder off the mat, just his shoulder and nothing else. It's so damn close and looks so so good
Started my wedding vows with a "Webster's dictionary defines-" fakeout, and that format, done well, NEVER fails to get a laugh.
Kane kicking out of 3 tombstones at Mania 14. Yes you heard that right he kicked out of that third one too. At that time kicking out of even one was unheard of.
That ROH BITW 2014 was here in Nashville, Tn at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.- March 19th 2022
Adam is our one and only savior
Hey Adam, you should do a list on Jim Ross's Greatest Reactions
That super kick to pedigree was definitely having my heart
