I always found it impressive how they show the grease being lifted off the dishes in the Dawn commercial.
It's 95 degrees and I could go for a Tropic Freezer right now.
The People's Court was my grandfather's favorite show, and he would watch it every day, so it's impossible not to think of him when I see those clips...

I am man enough to admit, that Purina Pets for People ad made me tear up a little. I hope that program is still going strong.
I know! How heartwarming! It’s a win-win for the animals and the elderly. I googled “Purina Pets for People” and I didn’t find anything about it specifically; however, they do have free pet adoptions for 55+ per www.purina.com/better-together-/pet-welfare/pet-adoption-program-for-those-55-plus/faq-pet-adoption-for-those-55-plus. To me, 55 is not “senior,” but hey.
A show about 80s commercials? Sign me up! But in the 80s it was all about the 60s, the 90s the 70s, and the 00s the 80s all over again!
So now it's the 90s?
I love the commercial about pairing the pets with seniors.

The voice for best foods majo commercial sounds like the narrator of forensic files.
Ed Marinaro is the actor in the Miller High Life commercial, he's been in a bunch of TV shows and movies but I will always remember him as Joey Buttufuaco in one of those ridiculous made for TV movies about Amy Fisher
"One of" is right.
He was also a former NFL football player for the Raiders. And was also in "Hill Street Blues".

AKA the Mission/Launch Campaign of the CBS News anthem.
The sister in with intent to kill is Holly Hunter, who played opposite Bill Hurt in Broadcast News the previous year I think - 86? Surprising they didn't mention her in the promo.
And yes, it's a little disappointing the promo got cut off at the end - it looked like it was a network positioner promo, one of those big 2 or 3 minutes long things they stuff at the end of movies that don't timeout right that show off all the stars - like ABC's 1977 and 1979 Still The One packages, which I still think of every time I hear Orleans on the radio, so whoever that promo producer was, I hope the hell he got a gold star in his copybook.
