I was shocked to find the Avalon album in the $1.99 bargain bin when they had the reissue 180g vinyl for $28.00 (I think). It means more to me to have the original pressing; I can look pass the corner notch, a few creases, and a smudge on side B of the vinyl record. When you slip the poly protector over the jacket, it hides some of the flaws; so I'm good. It's good hearing from you and stay tuned for more videos coming up in 2021.

The Duran Duran import single was in back of the bin, and when I pulled it up I thought of "Max Wheeler" - a huge fan of DD's material. New Zealand pressing reissued in '84; original from '82 (Australia). It was shocking to find the Avalon LP in the Bargain Bin; not the best condition but the price was so cheap (an automatic pickup). Bryan Ferry was my "free" LP for the discount sale. Looking forward to more videos from you. Happy New Year!

I was planning on going to Rome earlier this year and get more italo-disco records, but covid put a stop to that... Hopefully this year! The records you mentioned are so iconic; especially the Human League which I was so impressed with the flow of synths and vocals on both sides. The New Order single has been on my want list for quite some time; just love the jacket and the condition is perfect. It's a UK pressing with only (1) version of "Round & Round". The US copy has several versions, but I'm happy with the one that I purchased. As a matter of fact, I was going to post a video on my Italo-Disco records; it's not many but I just love my selections. Some are quite expensive but it's worth it to me. Hopefully when things get better (globally), you can make that historic trip to Rome and score those most-wanted Italo-Disco vinyl. Hopefully the prices are cheaper than here in the U.S. Yeah, we're staying safe here. Hope the same for You and Your Family. Merry Christmas and enjoy your Holiday Season. I just cashed in a gift certificate today at my local record store. One of my purchases was Howard Jones’ Human’s Lib album. Congrats on that ABC album - looks awesome. You’ll certainly enjoy that Alphaville classic Forever Young. What took you so long to get Human League’s Dare? That should have been on your shelf for the last four decades, my friend.

Just had to grab it when I seen it (price was right along with those great early to mid 80's synths). Thanks for your wonderful comment; yeah, quite a surprise with the ABC LP - jacket in NM condition. Just mixed "Forever Young" with "Planet Earth" - blended pretty well; not perfect. The Human League LP took quite some time; I stayed with the Electro & Freestyle genre for so many years & dedicated to 12" singles only. Wow, the LP collection has really grown over the last 2 years. Still more on the "want list"; but in time and for the right price - many more to collect. Stay tuned!!

There were some other gems in the boxes that I already had in my collection (trying to stay away from double copies - only new additions to the collection). No, I didn't know about the 4 bins at the Exchange... Haven't been there in a long time (before COVID). Question... Does the owner still look up the value of records on Discogs when you select from the boxes that aren't priced? Thanks!

Then he pulled it up on Discogs and said it would be high (currently selling for $90). About 2 months later the record was still there and I got it for only $20. I really don't like the pricing "racket" at the counter. Email is my user plus cox dot net. Thanks for your input.
